I got a blue alpha battle belt lite a couple months ago and it's fantastic. The inner has been pretty good EDC belt too. Stiff enough to carry a vp9sk and extra mag.
Give your business to good companies guys, not ones that have their employees arrested under false pretenses.

I have been running a blue alpha battle belt as may main duty belt for 4 years now without any issue. I only had to use a new Velcro for the inner belt because over the time it got worn out through out the daily usage.

$200 for a couple pieces of floppy nylon. I paid like $120 for my Blue Alpha Battle Belt Lite. Outer belt is far more rigid than GBRS', and the inner belt is *much* better than GBRS' (I wear it as a CCW belt). There are so many better belts for under $200 that I can't fathom why anyone would buy this other than for the logo.

I have had my v2 belt for about 2 yrs and over all it has pros and cons
Biggest con is the inner belt is not a edc belt also hook destroys shirts. I feel like if you plan on going to range or do some training then ya throw the inner belt and shroud on and when ya get to range just pop belt on.
The pros I do like the width and durability has been great. Currently in market for a new belt because I need all Black now

  • @Chadder82
    @Chadder82 6 месяцев назад +1

I’m in the same situation as the sender of this belt. . I wanted an upgraded battle belt and GBRS was the newest fad so I jumped on the hype train. I was disappointed in the V2 inner belt so I actually bought Eagle’s inner belt off a friend and used that. A Few Months later GBRS released the V3 so I ordered their newest inner belt. It works perfectly fine , it’s a pain to get the MOLLE mounted through. The True North Concepts holster mount does fight tight and forces the mount down inward creating a hot spot. I am aware of other companies making padding for it so I probably will mitigate the issue with the next Gucci thing for it😂😂😂😂. Love the Channel Bro

tbh if we really wanted to address the specific wetsuit/coverall/etc niche, I don't think a loop-in 2-piece gunbelt is really the best answer. Bring back old-school warbelt supremacy!!
Jokes aside, I think if Qore ever made a belt in the format of old padded warbelts but using icevents instead of fabric-based spacer mesh, that thing could really take off. Give me my 3 rows of full-sized MOLLE or give me death, I say

It appears they go around your pouches to keep them semi tensiond to the belt.....probably to keep it thin...or minimize flop when running....
I'm currently trying to decide between the green force gear adaptive rig in lbe mode....their lca .
Or spiritus 34 alpha in lbe mode....
Which ever base I get I want a small butt pack like the spiritus. large GP...2 spuds...and 2 bottle holders..
End goal is to have a rig that I can play around in the mountains (Alaska) and have room for my puffy snacks what ever....
But still be able to split the rig to go prone. My favorite shooting position..
Also I'm interested in split rigs because I want one setup. For winter and summer....
Hard to run plate carriers with coats....which is necessity here..

I had the V1 belt many moons ago, and I gotta say, that hook Inner belt is the worst thing ever. It tore up the bottom of a couple of Combat tops and the lumbar pad of a pack. Everyone says you gotta use the "edc" hook cancel belt, but if you're wearing your kit 12 to 16 hours a day, dropping your gear only to do admin tasks or sleep, it's kind of not worth even bringing out to the field or the range. But you know, people have to defend their influencer overlords, so I just don't "get it" and it's totally not a flawed design

So I have this belt (v2 with v2 and v3 inner). Would not buy again but not worth changing. The large Cobra buckle is out of date. I don't have any EDC needs of sharing an inner belt. Functionally the belt works very well, the geometry is well laid out, and is extremely comfortable (it's 1.5").

GBRS is known for selling crap with ridiculous prices.
If you just need a range belt, go for competition belt, it only cost around $50 and it’s really rigid and super durable.

I bought a V2 last year. The inner belt sytem, didn’t fit my needs for EDC as im an old school Milt Sparks kinda guy for day to day. The inner belt was sufficient for CCW on the way to the range, though. What i liked about the belt system most is that the outer belt had the loop side of the velcro facing my body and clothes, versus the hook. Im in the market for a second belt, and though V3 looks like it would be a perfect fit, I don't think I want to support GBRS with all of the things that have unfolded in the last year or so. If anyone knows of good options that have the loop facing the body, please let me know.

You haven’t tried the BFG GRID belt or the one from Baer Solutions yet? I got the BFG Grid and the curved belts are so much more comfy. Unfortunately the Baer Solutions one is a straight belt too, but it has the Safariland ELS holes, which I wish my BFG Grid had. Haven’t tried to see if it is possible yet with the slots.

Are you interested in the green force gear lca?
For some reason, I really want a split rig. That rides low enough to run a removable pack like hpg conner pack or small erblestock, mystery ranch ect....
But I'd like to be able to try out a smallish buttpack like the spiritus size...
Would like to know if your green force gear set up worked.... and whats your opinion on the LCA.
Basically im thinking of making a a spiritus 34 alpha "lbe" but utilizing the greenforce gear lca or the ARS . So a butt pack. Bottle carriers 2 tall gp pouches and 2 spuds...
