By far my favorite group dance. I love how Gianna's choreography showcases each girl for a few counts and even though Maddie is in the front, the whole dance isn't the other girls just dancing around her while she does turns. Her lead is incorporated naturally and the whole dance flows well. This dance also makes me so nostalgic for the way the show used to be where it was still about the kids and their dancing, not ALDCLA and all of Abby's new drama. I miss Brooke, Paige, and Chloe too. They danced beautifully in this group and I find it so sad that Abby and Lifetime have driven such a huge stake between them and their friends for the sake of a TV show, not to mention all the emotional damage they have caused. They are mature for their age, but they are still children with developing identities and emotions and the way Abby treated them is inexcusable. They fit in so well with this group of dancers. I miss the old show!
+Anne Childs What a precise comment, the truth has been spoken and you made me feel nostalgic with your words. This is my favorite dance too and this season especially was my favorite, good times and I´m still mad at Abby and Lifetime for the way the things turned out for Brooke, Paige and Chloe. I´ll never forgive Abby for giving Maddie & Kalani a secret solo so they could win because she didn´t trust Chole & Paige, how low can you be? But after all no matter how much we miss them the three of them are way better now and I´m glad for that.
That's true I prefer watching the growth of dancers grown at a studio rather than cherry picking the best dancers from all around the world to the ultimate team, Chloe Paige and Brooke were products of Abby and with new people it's not like the Abby lee dance company anymore
Yeah, Paige was really starting to blossom as a dancer and was getting really good but yeah because of Abby and lifetime and stuff they have to leave :/

Technically it's not Abby that does it. Abby takes all the credit and James, Gianna, other Aldc choreographers, Molly, or Alexa choreographs.
The best part is that you can hear them hitting the stage and it adds something special to this dance
I'm glad Lifetime improved the quality of the dance videos cz here we can hear the sounds of the feet more than the music
I kind of liked that in this particular dance because the music, costumes and choreography were so simple and being able to hear them on the stage kind of added to that. It wasn't like loud booming, they were like soft taps almost. Idk, I thought with this particular dance, it worked well, but in another dance it would be annoying. Plus you could hear when they would all step or land together and it shows how connected they all were.
Ana Mia same, I think it also makes more like an actual dance competition

It's because usually in the clips they dub over the audio with the just the track and not the original stage audio
All I have to say is Chloe was the only one I watched. She was just so amazing in this dance! her facials, technique, everything she did was perfect! And lifetime finally focused on someone else then Maddie in a group dance!
I agree! I only watched her and Nia, who was also exceptional.

Well Lifetime has shown more of Chloe here, but this is not the version that played on TV. The nicest version of this dance to watch is on the reunion show at the end of the season.

@@juniecw abby choreographs acro and jazz numbers. her studio is an acro based studio so Gianna and the other choreographers (who sometimes choreograph but we didn't see on the show) are the ones who do the other styles

I've been watching this dance since it came out, and I am just now really listening to the music. So when it said "like two birds flying over the sea" and Maddie and Chloe did that little combination I was like "WOW."

I couldn't keep my eyes off of Chloe. I love her style of dancing and it just fit perfectly with the song.

I don't always love the choreography from the ALDC but this has an elegant, understated beauty. Gia does such a good job with incorporating all the girls despite the age and height differences. Bravo Gia

One my favorite group dances, I miss this team. The show isn´t that entertaining anymore with all this drama, season 3 was my favorite.

I miss this group. The originals plus Payton and Asia added such a different dynamic of heights which made things more interesting. This dance and on the verge were good because of everybody’s unique strengths and how different every dancer was.
Lauren M I agree! Some people didn’t like Payton or Asia because of the height difference, but I like that it makes it seem varied and almost a more diverse group.

Seasons 2 and 3 were the seasons where chloe stood out in group dances the most. She was breathtaking in this one. I also like the little part she and Maddie had in the chorus
this dance was great. I miss the old group. before all the drama with Abby & the minis, there was an entertaining show about... dancing! BRING THAT BACK!

At 0:38 is a must pause moment. To have 9 girls who never dance together as a group, hit the peak (or just shy of it) of their grand jetes at the same time is beautiful to see.
This honestly is one of my favorite group dances. I miss Paige and Brooke so much and I'm sad they had to leave the show, even though I'm sure they don't miss Abby yelling at them.

Everyone was amazing in this piece but I have to say, Chloe was outstanding. Her technique is on point and her face really just describes the song and the dance. She has an amazing talent... to bad Abby crushed her confidence. But now she is a very successful woman working and living in L.A. 💕🥺

BrynWen Kidd,, Abby did not do this choreo Gianna did. I feel like Gianna's choreo is so much better for the girls. She showcases all of their talents as a group and does not just spotlight one great dancer.

Still one of my favorite dances from the show. Gianna’s choreo was so fresh & unique. No turn sequences, recycled choreo, & everyone had their moment to shine. I wish they would have shown more dances with just Gianna’s choreography.

I love how the camera was on Chloe as well as maddie this time. Lifetimes getting better at realizing its a group dance not a solo. And I loved how Chloe was in almost every special part!

if gianna went against abby in choreography im thinking gianna would win
abby doesn't choreograph, only Gianna does. the show makes it look like Abby does but she doesn't, there's many choreographers at the studio

Gianna choreographs, and Abby fixes up things, and sometimes she’ll change a couple parts, or pull someone out of the dance.
Zack actually choreographed this dance with Gianna.
Norris Productions I think James worked with Gia on this dance.
Am I the only one that finds the claps at 1:56 so satisfying. They go so well with the song
This is one of the best dances because everyone one is in it
I feel that when Season 7 comes around they'll win a lot more since Gianna will be taking over and she's amazing at choreography.
This, Frost, and Open Waters are probably some of my favorite group dances. They are so pretty.

I am a DM Super Duper Fan, and this is in my top 3 favorite lyrical junior group. the choreo is classical but fresh, light, AND it showcases there technique but not at the expense of soulfulness and emotion. Brava Gianna!!!!

Just an FYI, Gianna choreographed most of the dances on the show. This was just one of the few times Abby didn’t get a say in the choreography
I love almost everything about this dance. It's beautiful choreography! The timing is magnificent! The technique is great! The costumes are simple but pretty and elegant! The one thing I don't like is it's too cluttered. There should be fewer people.
Chloe is 100% the star of this dance! Her technique is gorgeous!

My favorite moments is maddie jump turn thing, Mackenzie's attitude turn th zooked in on it and Chloe turn squence thise moments just so satisfying

I'm just gonna say it: Gianna has the same choreographic genius as Abby but she uses it to highlight other girls instead of Maddie and it makes it even more special. Petition to give Gia her own show where she doesn't belittle dancers!

I love this group. You can tell the differnece in the choreography since Gia choreographed the dance to highlight each girl. I feel like the girls enjoyed the dance more aince abby wasnt there.
