No shame on whether you relax or not, Niara. I totally respect your decision around changing your lifestyle up when you finally get ready to have a baby. Having said that, every time it's been about a month after my relaxer touch up, I'm saying, 'I think I'll just be a straight natural from now on', and then after it's been 3 months, I can't deal with the tangles and how many times I have to go over the roots with the flat iron to get them silky and laying down, even after blow drying them good and straight. I just did my relaxer touch up after 14 weeks and I love doing my hair again. I look forward to your relaxing video (but, really, I love all your videos.). I'm also looking forward to that drugstore video - budget has been getting tight for some of us these days!
You leaning over the sink with the phone during the wait time is sending me lol. It’s actually genius. Because I don’t like just standing in the shower looking dumb while waiting 😂😂😂
My hair goals change weekly 😂. I feel them kids ain’t here yet haha. 😅 I’m experimenting with weekly washes (via rollerset…pressing roots as needed with low heat) the next few months. I am trying to see what weekly “niara alexis wash days” does to my natural hair. 😊 Ty girl!
Your hair looks great per usual... and it grew ALOT. I actually did the same thing as you wore braids all summer. I'm rock them until mid-October cause its HOT HOT in Georgia. Then, it will be an officially silk press season for me. 😊
I just cut mine a couple of days ago to collarbone. It's so hot in FL that it almost turned into a bob, but I made myself put the scissors down, lol. Your hair looks great. That new growth is standing, lol. 💜
