Joe has a history with bullshit. He does and says things. And then while confronted he acts all puzzled and surprised. Tax stone went off on him and Nicki Minaj got in his shit mid interview. The situation with complex with DJ Akademics, the podcast with Mal, what happened to State of the Culture? Everything he’s involved in that deals with working with people. Turns sour every time.

Joe is a talented guy but also a egomaniac. I hope he figures out how to get that under control. So many relationships he's had he has ruined.
This. All this nonsense surrounding Joe these last few years has really disappointed me. Dude is my favourite rapper and because of the part his music played in me successfully maneuvering my budding drug addiction and mental health issues when I was a teenager It would take a lot for that to change. His music saves my life at a a time when I really needed something, somebody, ANYTHING to let me know I wasn’t alone and that there was hope.
But fuck, it’s damn near impossible for me to even listen to clips of the podcast without feeling disgusted. There were warning signs all these years of how horrible of a human he was but just like what happened when my (at the time) best friend was drugging and taping girls en masse it took me way too long to be able to reconcile this person who makes amazing music thst saved my life (or friend who has been a brother figure to a kid who never had a positive male figure in their life prior to that) and this vile, manipulative, violent narcissist being the same person (that last bit can apply to Joe and my “friend”, :/).
And once your eyes are opened everything from the past becomes so clear, and the shit you were in denial about becomes so obvious and gross.

The shit with Mal tho …He’s treated people grimey in business before, and he can try and say Rory and him don’t have a friendship, but Mal was in the first JBtV videos sittin on the couch when Joe was looking like a fucking bum in the same sweats that he had one for days and same tee he had on for a week talking about how he’s better than literally everybody in the world and will steal beats from a producer to do so [not “jackin’ for beats” or doing remixes - fuck the producer, I ain’t paying you *confused narcissistic look on Joe’s face, flabbergasted at the concept of actually paying the producer and sticking to the contract (or even just being a man of your word)*. These guys are REAL friends, and to not only treat your real close friend like thst but talk about him in the disrespectful, flagrant, foul and just overall mean/dickish/horrible way he did? That’s .. I can’t support Joe anymore. That’s disgusting and if he’ll do that to a close friend he will fuck ANYBODY over.

We all know what it's like talking to somebody who doesn't want to do something. Its either "yes" or a bunch of excuses. I don't believe they told them about the album/deal and they wanted to do it and yet somehow they went and recorded a whole album without them knowing. We know how this went.....its regret or a new topic for joes podcast. They seem more interested now that the project is done without them than doing the actual project.

it's just not worth being a fan of Joe anymore. it's like following a series where every arc ends with the protagonist sabotaging his career, ruining all his relationships with the other characters you like, and then the next season he's just doing some totally different shit with different people. still trying to get more famous and more successful, and you can't even care because you know it's still gonna play out the same way. at this point you don't even really wanna see the guy win anymore because at the end of every season he fuckin' scumbags some of your favorite supporting characters.
Joe was a rapper, a member of a supergroup, a reality TV show participant, lead host of successful podcast, co-host of a show at Complex, co-host of a middling Revolt show, and partner in a biggish deal with a biggish company that sponsored 1-on-1 sit down's with some of our favorite artists. but he never, ever seems to feel successful or respected enough to just chill and maintain what he's doing indefinitely. he can't help but do whatever it takes to try to "take it to the next level."
and i'm cool on that. thank you for all the old, good content. salute. but i'm not checking for whatever comes next. he's burned too many bridges and sabotaged too much shit i've been a fan of.

Sounds to me like the real beef is between Joe and crook. Crook seems to be getting a lot of 2nd hand information of what Joe said and thinks from Joel and Royce and not directly from Joe meaning those two don't communicate at all.
Yep! Joe years ago felt like crook was taking shots at him. That’s when he went to meet up with crook for that pull up episode that never came out. What lil snippets joe put out from it seems like there was some energy from crook joe was feeling that may of not been reciprocated at the time, but joe feels not so good about now that crook said what he had to say to him. Remember years ago around that same period crook said he was done or leaving SH because people don’t want to rap, and that he does. Clearly he was talking about joe because every other member was active at that time. So royce was cool with crook, Joell also… so it seems joe just not wanting to rap and then crook feeling some way about that kinda put them at odds, but I truly don’t think joe had anything personal against crook but it was more surrounding rapping from his end.

It’s funny how the two bums have a problem with the two successful members of the group. Funny how that works. When you not in position you’ll never see anything from any other perspective then the one you’re use to.
But that's kind of the main issue... Royce and Joe have become successful with second chances given to them, so you'd think they would understand how dependent and hungry the other two dudes are, yet they just lollygag and waste their opportunity since it's not Essential to them at the cost of two other members they at one time called family. If you peep the other part of the interview, when they first signed to shady, all of them signed as free agents, or so they thought until Hoe Budden failed to mention he was still under Amalgam Digital. Joe fought in court for months with amalgam saying they “forged” his signature in their contract but later was established that Joe’s signature on the contract was real. Therefore Joe was not on the Session One bonus track on Em’s Recovery album because Joe couldn’t get cleared but Joe lied about that situation saying they forged his signature when in actuality that was his real signature and failed to tell them he was still signed to another label when the rest of the group signed to shady.
At this point the album is out and I assume it’s trash cause you keep doing Joe videos instead speaking on how great it is. Just an observation carry on😩💀
