Hey guys! The mystery Knight was Lyanna Stark. :)
Almost certainly. But it's not confirmed by any POV charcter who knew. I doubt any POV charcter knew, anyways.
I think it's clever how they had Meera narrating, so when she deepens her voice to echo the mystery knight's voice booming from the helm, it's a woman, pretending to be a man. Like Lyanna would have done.
The Mistery Knight, in my opinion, is Lyanna Stark. Always thought so when i read the books.
The laughing tree knight was definitely Lyanna Stark. It's a sigil that her family prays to and it was also her voice. That would explain how Rhaegar discovered Lyanna off screen.
You missed all the clues about the Knight of the Laughing Tree’s identity 😁 Try again… the emblem is of the North. As pointed in a comment, the armor is improvised, so it is not someone who was meant to fight. It is someone with undeniable horseriding and sword skills, unlike Howland Reed. Also, the Knight is short and thin, with a strong sense of honor and justice, determined to punish those who bullied Howland Reed. My money is on Lyanna. Only a theory many share, not confirmed yet in books. But it would explain how she met Rhaegar face to face before her abduction and made such a lasting impression on him that he kept her identity secret (remember, his father had asked him to unmask the mystery knight). Also, it could explain why Rhaegar offered her the crown of blue roses when he won the tourney. It was not the gallant gesture people thought it was. Had the Knight of the Laughing Tree not disappear before the final joust, s/he might have won the Tourney. It could have been Rhaegar’s subtle acknowledgment of Lyanna’s skills and a way to share victory with a worthy opponent.

Targaryens had prophetic dreams concerning the end of the world by white walkers so there is a theory he went mad from it among other things, and him telling to "burn them all" is also saying to burn the white walkers, I don't know where I read it but I really like it.

Aerys sent Rhaegar to search for and capture the mysterious Knight but he did not find him, so he says, in my opinion he did find her and fell in love with his honorability and attractive northern savagery.

Great reactions again! Short stature, unfit armor, weirwood tree mark, muffled voice - all evidences point to Lyanna Stark being the Mystery Knight. Rhaegar Targaryen found the left armors, and it is rumored that Rhaegar Targaryen actually helped the mystery knight escape. Perhaps the only piece of puzzle left from the tourney about which still the fandom is largely unsure is what was the implication of Ned Stark's dance with Lady Ashara Dayne. Anyways, when are you going to react to and release the reaction to R + L = J video?

A likely theory is that the Mystery Knight was Lyanna Stark

The mystery knight is small with I'll fitted armor. Not someone who expected to fight. Full disclosure when you are past another season.
We don’t even have full disclosure. But unfortunately people have decided to give names
Ya this is one of several things never fully explained and left up to the reader to guess
The War of The Ninepenny Kings - after you finish the series you should do a reaction to a video on this war (and in general the Blackfyre Rebellions).
So many of the current and pre-Game of Thrones characters made their names from this war:
- Barriston "The Bold" Selmy, who won the war for the crown
- Aerys Targaryen and his best friend Tywin Lannister
- Tywin's brothers, Tygett and Kevan
- Brynden Tully aka "The Blackfish"
- Petyr Baelish's father, who fought under the Tully's (it was this deed that allowed Littlefinger to be fostered at Riverrun years later)
This was also where Steffon Baratheon (Robert, Stannis and Renly's father), Rickard Stark (Ned's father), Hoster Tully (Cat's dad) and Jon Arryn all met and became good friends, why Ned and Robert were fostered at the Eyrie, and why they originally decided to join their respective houses to each other:
- Catelyn & Brandon Stark,
- Robert & Lyanna,
- Lysa & Jon Arryn
Tywin's other brother was called Gerion. He's the one that went missing while travelling to Valyria to look for Brightroar, the Lannister's ancestral Valyrian steel sword. There is a Jason Lannister in HOTD.

Exactly. He should have been left out of the books too, along with the Dornish. More side characters is not what ASOIAF needed. ESPECIALLY without the time jump. Because it's all just wheel spinning and meandering.
A heart made of stone might not even be that cool. It's not like we have seen it much.
Maybe his actor is good in other things but I absolutely hate the way he acts in this, his accent also completely throws me off.

I recommend Alt Shift X's R+L=J video. It's mostly about the books because Jon's parents haven't been confirmed there yet. But there have been clues since the 1st book...
Alt Shift X makes the best theory and analysis videos.
No this is the best R+L=J video to watch ruclips.net/video/3xaspBsfgRg/видео.html. It's clips taken from the previous seasons about who Jon's parents are. The video by Alt Shift X is just a guy taking and it's boring but you can watch it but the one i linked gives hints about who Jon really is and is the best compilation video i have ever seen of it's kind. The editing alone makes it a great video to watch.

In Deep Geek's series of videos called "Robert, Lyanna, Rhaegar and all that" are some of the best vids on YT about the Great tourney and the rebellion.
You dont see House Hightower in the main Game of Thrones story, although you do see the tower when Samwell arrives at Oldtown. But you will see them in House of the Dragon.
The Knight of the Laughing Tree, although never revealed, was believed to have been Lyanna Stark, the Knight was small in stature and had ill fitting armour, cobbled together from different suits. Lyanna was also an excellent horse rider and jousting is said to be mostly about riding and control of the horse. Ned always said that Lyanna had the Wolfsblood, a wild spirit, which is why Arya reminds him so much of Lyanna. Alt Shift X and In Deep Geek both have some great videos on The Tourney at Harrenhal and Roberts Rebellion, I highly recommend checking them out at some point, The series which I believe is called "Robert, Lyanna,Rhaegar and all that" by In Deep Geek in a fascinating look at the Starks before the rebellion, why the tournament happened and the events leading up to the rebellion. It's well worth watching.👍🏽

House Gardner was extinguished in the field of fire. The Tyrell’s then took High Garden. House Hightower was not seen much at all in GOT but you’ll see them plenty in House of the Dragon
Sometimes we joke about a Game of Thrones remake but everyone has cell phones or a modern AU but with dragons.

The mystery knight was either Lyanna, Howland, or a Greenseer who may still live on the Gods eye (the direction he prayed)
