You make this seem so easy and straight forward. The timelines of the Tribunals and leanings in favor of tenants makes the process of eviction a nightmare for landlords.

Just did an eviction for non payment of rent, started March and finally evicted this month. Terrible experience!

@@zhengwayne5015 what are somethings you learned through the process that you wish you knew before hand?

@@titledprince triple check your n4 there's a check list on it. Even if there's a spelling error or missing information then the case is highly likely to get dismissed and you will have to start all over! Sadly you won't know this until the hearing date which is months after applying..

@@zhengwayne5015 I feel like if you are going through this process, you might as well hire a paralegal considering how long it takes to get the date again. They probably know this stuff inside out

@@titledprince it's actually a fairly simple process, just had to make sure all documents are filled out properly.
But your right if someone has the financial ability to hire a paralegal by all means do it.

Trying to evict my tenant for non payment of rent,
i went thru the n4 process and L1 process back in october
so my tenant orginally owed rent for october, november, december and now janurary
i filed the eviction notice on october 18
my tenant was given assistance from my county for a 1 time payment
    which would cover octobers rent
does this void my eviction notice? from october or will it carry on for the following months owed?

Thank you so much for your informative video. Can you help me some more information? If anyone is evicted under the eviction order of LTB, will it be affecting in finding a suitable new rental for the tenant in future? I mean, is the name of landlord or tenant put as a bad record in LTB website, and people can verify it any time?

Compensation could be explained thoroughly, too vague. Is this same as last month's rent?
