@Abiodun Akanbi Great to have you here, thanks for commenting. Here are some things I would try: -Put yourself in the client's shoes. Beyond what they're asking for in the job description, what frustrations do they have? How are they struggling? What is most painful for them? Aggressively put yourself in that Upwork client's shoes, and write about what they're struggling with... and THEN show them how you have seen this situation before, and have helped others struggling with this same thing before. Then show the results that your clients have gotten through quotes from client reviews / testimonials. -Someone with multiple skills wins over another with only one skill. You can try mentioning how they don't only need someone who does X, but also understands Y and Z that are crucial to success in this project. -If you have really awesome work examples, talk about one of those examples. "Your job listing really jumped out at me, because it's so similar to another client I had recently..." Is that helpful?
Hey Evan, I'm looking forward to starting working on UpWork and your videos were really helpful, but I got a question. How can I create a portfolio that hits even if I don't have any previous working experience??

@Salgotras Thank you so much! Just subscribed to your channel, love the way you explain things, well I base in Nigeria and I have been applying for jobs on Upwork since January and I haven’t even gotten a single reply yet.
Two basic things: wait until you get more connects next month, and use them very wisely (this the cover letter & profile tips videos!!) or pay for Freelance Plus subscription which is very much worth it !
My results for 1.5 months are 60 CL 24 views 2 interview 0 contacts. I don't give up and I send 2-3 CL everyday, but now I work on offline job and send CL I think that I should do more
Hi Evan, quick question here please, how do you plug marketing yourself on Upwork into your schedule, do you do it for a few continued hours or multiple times a day? Thank you for the great value you're putting out there!
Hey dude amazing tips loved them , but I'm having one trouble my clients are not viewing my proposal, so could you help me with that and can you make another video on that , I would be eager to share and watch that , Love you 🥰👍
Hi, I’m new to your channel! Love your content. I’ve been on Upwork about 3 months. I offer digital marketing services, but focus mainly on content creation. I’m pricing my services at lower than usual to get clients. I have gotten good results but need to double them. My question is, how can I get more yeses? I have a good cover letter, profile, and try to do 20 outreach per day. I have a decent portfolio too. What do you recommend. I’m currently working with 10 clients and wanting to go to 20
Hello, Even. You are a GOD!!! My question is, when I apply for a job, for exemple a logo design job, and I have to attach projects. What kind of projects should I send when I apply for the job ? some examples, maybe sketches of what kind of logos the client wants or previous works done by me ?
The most relevant ones to what it is that the client wants - PAST work that you've done, not sketches for this client. Any work for this client, you should be paid for
to use your connects wisely, honestly I’d suggest checking out all the content on this channel and following the steps. Some other channels are pretty good too, but overall spend a little time learning and it will REALLY pay off. If you don’t have connects, you get more I believe once a month for Free, or with Freelance plus you get 80/month, or you can buy more connects. But using them wisely, very important!!
I'm watching this to gain insight but for anyone beginning their journey. It took me 3 months to get my first job. No I'm not trying to discourage you. I'm saying it will take a while and you may want to give up, but it's better to keep putting in proposals than to not do anything at all. At least if you do you have a good percentage of getting at interview.
I've been following your content fo about a week now it's realy helping me upgrade my profile My question is what do you do when have no work experience on upwork I'm new to the network
Stick with it @Hlangabeza Khumalo, you'll get there! Check out this playlist, hope you will find it helpful in finding work & improving your JSS! ruclips.net/p/PL7fJudsfzDlrVTxlDw7GMH8k14eJoaCVZ Sending you much ❤️

Thanks Evan! The video is very useful. I am a new person to Upwork, I don't know how to start for putting the first dollars in the first job in my field niche, thanks (I don't know how to price correctly).
Hi, I love your videos. My question is, in what eye-catching way can I start my cover letter, and also when you said to give work examples on your proposal, did you mean to attach examples of work you've done before or just mention some examples of work you've done on the cover letter? Thanks
Loved watching this video!! Inspired. Here is my question- do you think the place you are from affects your likelihood of getting jobs? I ask this because most of the successful freelancers I've come across are Americans and I am from Africa.
One of your rules is that speed is crucial. Can you give me an idea of what you mean- I still have to research the client's first name and then maybe do a google search on the client's company. I will boldly go but just need a little clarification. Thank you!
Speed of “sending proposals to jobs that were recently posted” ie the likelihood you (or ANYONE, for that matter) will be hired on a job more than a week old, is exponentially lower than that of a job that was posted within the last couple of hours.
@Ali Sufyan thanks for your comment - that's a very interesting video concept. Are you thinking more along the lines of a "client-perspective" video? Something like: -How to hire freelancers on Upwork - the RIGHT way -Creating your freelance team -Clients: Here's what you should outsource vs. hire in-house Is that what you're thinking? Would love to hear more of your thoughts regarding the context of this! #freelancevideos
I’m having some problems with up work I’ve been on the platform for several months and nothing, I have followed some of your videos and others but I can’t even get an interview for a job
Thank you so much for the opportunity to ask questions 😩 Hey Evan I'm kind of stuck I'm a new social media manager that can take only contract jobs for now because I'm also a student. My confusion is I know upwork has 2 payment methods but my services are social media management, content creation strategy, Organic growth strategy I don't know how I would break it down? Please can you help me Thank you so much, I would really appreciate your reply
@@FreelanceMVP I am really sorry. I was out of the city in the hilly areas. I was not able to attend your live stream. I was trying to get a taste of nature. Next time I will attend your live strwam.

Hi, I am Yash Khanna, and I loved your video on how you summarized the tips in short. I am a researcher Engineer in co-corporate. I have a query that how to effectively find research projects in Upwork and specifically with different Universities? I would love to have your suggestions. Thanks Yash Khanna
Hi Evan, I'm looking forward to starting working on UpWork again and your videos are really promising, but I got a question. How can I create a portfolio that attracts attention even if I don't have any previous working experience with Upwork???
@Zero Pixel it really depends. Some niches are really great for long-term work, others are not. From a service standpoint, some niches that require steady, long-term work can be blog post writing (if you have a client who has a long-term blog strategy), SEO, and accounting. But overall, the best niche for you is probably the one where you will be able to do the highest-value version of the work you love, and where you are able to give clients AMAZING results. What Upwork niche are you in right now?
Hey Evan, first of all I'd like to say that you are the BEST RUclipsr that I've found across on RUclips for Upwork guidelines. I'm just new to Upwork. I've a couple of questions to ask. Hope to get a reply from you. First of all, I wanted to ask that if someone has no clients from anywhere, how are they going to get the reviews? Secondly, if I'm doing content writing. Then can I just upload samples of my work that I didn't do for any client since I've no clients right now. But that work is original and I've done it assuming that it was some client's job. Will wait to get a reply from you!
First of all, I need to know how can I make my profile even better and more attractive that can be noticed by the client when It comes to applying for the job. Since I can see that my profile is not 100% complete so can you pls make a video of how we can complete our profile or making a portfolio etc?
Hi, Evan. Thanks for this brilliant video. I’m into data entry and I just joined Upwork. For a beginner, would you recommended applying for jobs with lower numbers of submitted proposal as opposed to those with many proposals already submitted? I look forward to getting your response Thanks
Hey @Cyrel I actually didn't read any books... that was the problem, there wasn't really anything there for me to learn! Check out more of the videos on my channel and you'll see what I mean.
My Upwork question is: Recently I have seen a few clients on Upwork who are posting the same job almost every other day. Without even interviewing anyone. How can we spot such people and avoid losing connects?
Hello Atif, I just seen your question as I'm casually scrolling down. The same thing happened to me with 1 client, he replied to my proposal and never heard back. And guess what he never hired anyone before. so basically you could filter out all the non-hires and start with 1-9 and upwards. Generally, if the clients have hired people before it shows they are serious and ready to pay us.
I have tried all possible ways and helps I got from RUclips, my profile is even 100% complete. But I don't still know the missing link because I have not got a job since I joined Upwork. I am a graphic designer. Please I need your help if you can look into my profile for adjustments. Thanks Daniel
I get demotivated very easily. As soon as I open upwork, my mind begins to race and have bad thoughts. I start thinking things like, I am not good enough, there are so many people who can do the job better than me, I think I will never be able to earn money.
Short answer: Freelancer Plus subscription, and math (guesstimation of averages - you get a range and the median, but not exact proposal amounts) Even shorter, BETTER answer: Be so awesome at the RESULTS you deliver, that it GENUINELY does not matter what other people are doing - because you're the best at what you do.
Hello, some background I am a web developer and was wondering How should I showcase my projects in the Proposal, also can I show concept projects(projects that weren't jobs) in my proposal as long as they relate. Ex: A real estate concept landing page for a client that wants a landing page for real estate. Thanks :D
@onthegocode Awesome question! Now let me write you a book you did not ask for 🤣🤣🤣 On showcasing projects… The work examples you showcase on Upwork and use to show clients can be some of the most powerful tools you have in booking jobs. Of course, you can’t show everything you’ve done. On my end, for example, I’ve done TONS of work. Unbelievable work. Incredibly designed and powerful work…. …but in so many cases, I’m under a separate NDA. Which means that I can’t show everything I would want to show a client - even if I knew that if they saw it, they would be blown away. So I’ve had to find other ways around it. One strategy I’ve used in the past: For past work that I’d love to showcase, I anonymize the work (take the client’s name and all identifying details off of it, send it to them and ask for the client’s permission to use it in my portfolio. For new projects, in any NDA, include a specific “carve-out” provision that allows me to showcase that anonymized work on an indefinite basis, so it’s already pre-agreed and I don’t have to ask. Now that I’m several hundred projects deep, I’ve got a very deep portfolio of work that allows me to show “something for every industry” but that strategy above ^^ is basically how I built it up. WHENEVER you are about to showcase other work, ALWAYS check Upwork’s Terms of Service FIRST (ie, DON’T just blindly trust me here), but the basics go something like this: If you built it… …and it doesn’t belong to anyone else (ie, a client didn’t pay you for it and now THEY OWN IT)… …and you’re not using someone else’s work… then you can use it. Otherwise, in all cases I would get full written permission before using anything. But if you built it, and it doesn’t belong to anyone else (ie a client, either on Upwork or off), then it doesn’t matter if it wasn’t for an Upwork job. It doesn’t matter if it wasn’t even for a real business and you made it up. If it demonstrates your abilities, and it’s yours and it’s awesome, then I say…. USE IT. A real-life example is almost always going to be better, but for now, if it does the job, then go for it. P.S. For context, I used an “example project” as a work example for about 2 years before deleting it since my work quality had drastically improved and it no longer represented the level of work I delivered. If it’s yours and it does the job, then go for it.
Great channel and excellent presentations, I signed up, My question is: Can Upwork freelancers based in the USA compete with the lower job bids of workers from other countries?
I have 86% job success score. Made almost 600 dollars and up to 7 jobs completed but for over 8 months now I haven't gotten any job. I've been spending heavily on connect. I don't know what I am doing wrong
@MOSES MED Keep pushing! Do this: no more copy pasting proposals. At all. Every proposal you send, you write from scratch, focusing first on how frustrated the client is, and then on how you can help. Then report back in 4 weeks!
I started up work a month back and it's so hard to get a job. My connects are all used up an I don't have money to get some. I feel like I should just give up on Upwork😓
Hi! Thank you for your videos it helps me a lot! I am a self-taught web developer and I want to start a a freelancer but I do not have previous experience or jobs. What advice could you give me? Thank you!
Hey CHAAAAAD 🤣 Loved your video, thanks! Question: You made so many mistakes that Upwork blocked you: "We don't think you will succeed around here" or a similar statement. What do you do? You didn't have a kind Evan to coach you prior to 2015. Keep on that beautiful journey to provide your family great quality time. 👋
Thank you for such a great video. I greatly admire your style of presentation and will be glad you be my mentor as I build a substantial career on Upwork. My question is regarding rates; I have an intermediate level of expereince in data entry and I have set $5 as my rate, because I consider I'm new in the platform. Do you think it is too low or just ok to make me get my first clent? And with that rate can I bid for jobs with fixed price of $1000 for example?
@Basky I will give a long answer, and then a short one 🦊it's up to you to determine which you prefer! The Long Answer... -Long-term, your goal is to do what A. makes you happy, B. what you're naturally talented at, and C. what is the highest-value use of your skills A. Only you can figure out what actually makes you happy, versus what becomes a grind B. Your natural talents, you can start by asking your family and people who are extremely close to you, "What do you think I am really good at? Is there anything I can do that you think is really special?" You'll be surprised at the answers. Mine was "you 'mirror' people extremely well." It took me a long time to understand what that meant, but it had something to do with matching peoples' energy - I guess that has really helped in the consulting-focused work I've done, where empathy and putting yourself in someone else's shoes is an extremely valuable skill. Beyond that, I'm fairly good with numbers but not a genius, but that allows me to read between the lines of companies' financial statements very quickly and then 'mirror' the best versions of my clients' stories in as close to their own words as possible. (Understand that this is a realization that took years of working, trying and failing at various things, so it's not something that comes overnight but you WILL get there!) C. This takes time too, but once you've explored A. and B., then I'd suggest browsing Upwork's job listings in the categories that interest you, and see what fits. There are high rates available in every single category, so don't go on the basis of money. You're better off trying to answer the question: "What jobs are Upwork clients regularly posting, that I would like to do, and that would match with my natural skillset?" You'll start to narrow things down, and eventually you'll hone in on the highest-value use of your skills. My own personal C. started with me doing "all the things an investment banking analyst might do" which could involve working on a ton of different things: Executive Summaries, Information Memoranda, Presentations, Financial Modeling, Strategy Consulting... for a while, I was kind of "all over the place" just doing what made money. But eventually I found what really resonated with my natural skills, and removed most of those from "the list of jobs that Evan will do" in order to focus on an extremely targeted product, in a specific niche, with a specific client profile that I found has problems that I am uniquely positioned to help them solve, that **appears frequently enough on Upwork for me to build a business out of it**. Understand that my C. is also the product of YEARS of trying and failing over and over, to really define what I focus on today. ...and you know what? WHAT I FOCUS ON, IS STILL CHANGING. My focus is morphing and shifting, constantly evolving into something different to what it was yesterday. So, what to do? Understand the source of your own happiness. Recognize that you have natural gifts, and seek to define them. Then, apply them, see what happens, and constantly adjust. The Short Answer... Copywriting and Data Entry are two categories that are relatively easy to get started in. If you want something beyond that, consider Marketing Automation. But see above - if you aren't happy with what you're doing, then you won't continue doing it. So seek what makes you happy & what you're good at, and become the best at it. Because you can learn to do pretty much anything online these days - and in many cases, you can learn it for free!
Should we apply for the saved jobs immediately after saving them or should we first complete the 3 downwards three times a day and then at the end of day apply to ALL saved jobs?
Hey, I am a Search Engine and Social Media Marketer on Upwork. Every job i look at requires my work examples which i don't have because I am a beginner and it is impossible to create a sample work example on this niche. So my question is how to write a killer proposal jobs like these ?
@Vishnu Sunil great question - here's what I would do (and in fact, here is what I DID!): Do it for YOURSELF, and create your work examples based off of content / work that you have done for your OWN purposes (for example, your own social media marketing efforts, and your own SEO efforts directing toward your own website). If you can get results for yourself and/or show some of your own work, then it may help in getting clients. And bear in mind, not only do you benefit your own work, but since you put a lot of work into it, you also are probably showcasing some really excellent work product to clients - depending on what their needs are! Does that help?

My results for 1.5 months are 60 CL 24 views 2 interview 0 contacts. I don't give up and I send 2-3 CL everyday, but now I work on offline job and send CL I think that I should do more
I've been binge watching your videos they are so awesome. Wow
Thanks alot man
Hi Evan, quick question here please, how do you plug marketing yourself on Upwork into your schedule, do you do it for a few continued hours or multiple times a day? Thank you for the great value you're putting out there!
Hey dude amazing tips loved them , but I'm having one trouble my clients are not viewing my proposal, so could you help me with that and can you make another video on that , I would be eager to share and watch that , Love you 🥰👍
It took me 3 days to get my first job on Upwork.
I’m currently working with 10 clients and wanting to go to 20
Hi, @Freelance MVP Thanks for the video
I have not completed my schooling yet, i have no Employment history. so what do i do
Hello, Even.
Any work for this client, you should be paid for
Hello, really enjoyed the video. I Want to know how to use my connects efficiently and what happen of I dont have any connect thanks
to use your connects wisely, honestly I’d suggest checking out all the content on this channel and following the steps.
@Breaker Heart TRUTH!
Wow.. great content and extraordinary presentation
Thanks so much @Milton Haldar! You're a legend!
I've been following your content fo about a week now it's realy helping me upgrade my profile
My question is what do you do when have no work experience on upwork

Thanks Ziyad!
what is some of the best niche in upwork
I got my first job. Delivered it, client seems happy. But not getting the second one on Upwork after 50-60 proposals.
Thanks Evan! The video is very useful. I am a new person to Upwork, I don't know how to start for putting the first dollars in the first job in my field niche, thanks (I don't know how to price correctly).
Hi Evan, there is no link in the description for setting up advanced searches as you mentioned in the video. Can you share, please? Appreciated
This video was 😍😍
I've been applying strategies continuously but haven't gotten messaged.
What can I do?
Hi, I love your videos. My question is, in what eye-catching way can I start my cover letter, and also when you said to give work examples on your proposal, did you mean to attach examples of work you've done before or just mention some examples of work you've done on the cover letter? Thanks
Thanks so much @Esther! New cover letter video coming THIS WEEK 😻😻😻😻😻 I think you might like it and it'll answer your question!
@FreelanceMVP I have a question how much long should a upwork cov3r letter be
really amazing and inspirational tutorial
Many many thanks! Did you find it helpful?
Loved watching this video!! Inspired.
Here is my question- do you think the place you are from affects your likelihood of getting jobs? I ask this because most of the successful freelancers I've come across are Americans and I am from Africa.
Fantastic, really enjoyed this.
@RossOwnzHere Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for video buddy
@Ammar Tanweer my pleasure, thank YOU for commenting! Are you on Upwork already?
Is it worth it to bid on jobs. If it is when should I bid? How much should I Bid? What if they're already interviewing someone.
My question(s): What are revisions? and as a beginner how much revision should I set in my project catalog?
Revisions are when you send a draft to your Upwork client, they provide you comments and you do a version 2 / 3 /4 etc.
Great Content
Can You please make a video on "Creating a Freelancers pool" or "Outsourcing"
Thank you
@Ali Sufyan thanks for your comment - that's a very interesting video concept. Are you thinking more along the lines of a "client-perspective" video? Something like:
-How to hire freelancers on Upwork - the RIGHT way
-Creating your freelance team
-Clients: Here's what you should outsource vs. hire in-house
Is that what you're thinking? Would love to hear more of your thoughts regarding the context of this!
#freelancevideos
Thank you for your responce
basically i was looking for video where i can about creating Inhouse freelance team or virtual Freelancer team
@@alisufyan1978 ok great! I don’t have a video on that yet but might do one in the future!

I'm a student with no experience on transcription ...please give me a step by step tutorial of how to start freelancing on Upwork
I’m having some problems with up work I’ve been on the platform for several months and nothing, I have followed some of your videos and others but I can’t even get an interview for a job
Hi,
I have 194 completed contracts with 4.8 stars rating.
Why are clients not responding to my proposals?
My JSS is 75
@Marian S thanks for your comment. So, you have 4.8 stars overall, and JSS is 75%? What are the ratings on your last 10 reviews?
Thank you so much for the opportunity to ask questions 😩
Hey Evan I'm kind of stuck
I'm a new social media manager that can take only contract jobs for now because I'm also a student.
My confusion is I know upwork has 2 payment methods but my services are social media management, content creation strategy, Organic growth strategy
I don't know how I would break it down?
Please can you help me
Thank you so much, I would really appreciate your reply
Great video. Learned the 4 golden rules. Again Mark my presence.😂
You’re a LEGEND! The question is… what are you going to DO with the Golden Rules now? 😻
@@FreelanceMVP I am going to use these golden rules in my upwork journey.
@Mamoon Farid Our first and last livestream of 2021 is tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:15AM EST - will you be able to attend? 😻
@@FreelanceMVP I am really sorry. I was out of the city in the hilly areas. I was not able to attend your live stream. I was trying to get a taste of nature. Next time I will attend your live strwam.
@Mamoon Farid no worries at all! 🦊I'm glad you were able to catch the replay of the livestream on the channel - hopefully you were able to drop a LIKE on the video, we're trying to get it to 1,000 likes! Big goals 🥰
Hi, I am Yash Khanna, and I loved your video on how you summarized the tips in short. I am a researcher Engineer in co-corporate. I have a query that how to effectively find research projects in Upwork and specifically with different Universities? I would love to have your suggestions.
Thanks
Yash Khanna
What a great video. Thanks!
what is a good cover letter when sending a proposal? Thank you
Hi Evan, I'm looking forward to starting working on UpWork again and your videos are really promising, but I got a question. How can I create a portfolio that attracts attention even if I don't have any previous working experience with Upwork???
Big fan from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
@Xenon 4You welcome welcome! Have you been on Upwork for a long time already?
Sir which niche gets recurring client for long term ?
@Zero Pixel it really depends. Some niches are really great for long-term work, others are not. From a service standpoint, some niches that require steady, long-term work can be blog post writing (if you have a client who has a long-term blog strategy), SEO, and accounting. But overall, the best niche for you is probably the one where you will be able to do the highest-value version of the work you love, and where you are able to give clients AMAZING results. What Upwork niche are you in right now?
Hi dear. Kindly advice me on how best to land jobs via Upwork in the field of architecture and landscape designs
Thanks Freelance MVP !
Thanks @Blue Arts you're awesome!!
Hi, Evan. Thanks for this brilliant video.
I’m into data entry and I just joined Upwork. For a beginner, would you recommended applying for jobs with lower numbers of submitted proposal as opposed to those with many proposals already submitted?
I look forward to getting your response
Thanks
Thanks so much @Salaudeen - yes, better to apply to jobs with fewer submitted proposals.
@@FreelanceMVP hello Evan, should the maximum number of proposals for a job be less than 50?
hello Mr.freelance can i ask somethng...what books did you read or the references about online job. thank you.
Hey @Cyrel I actually didn't read any books... that was the problem, there wasn't really anything there for me to learn! Check out more of the videos on my channel and you'll see what I mean.
How to best write proposals and answer questions for job posts?
Good day, great content. What is a good starting hourly rate for Data entry
Ufffhhh, you are amazinnngg!!!!💖
I love it but im out of connects 😢
My Upwork question is: Recently I have seen a few clients on Upwork who are posting the same job almost every other day. Without even interviewing anyone. How can we spot such people and avoid losing connects?
Hello Atif, I just seen your question as I'm casually scrolling down. The same thing happened to me with 1 client, he replied to my proposal and never heard back. And guess what he never hired anyone before. so basically you could filter out all the non-hires and start with 1-9 and upwards. Generally, if the clients have hired people before it shows they are serious and ready to pay us.
@@nellpupkeviciute7674 thanks a lot for responding 😊. Much appreciated 👍
This is very true. The greater Upwork history a client has, the more likely they are to actually hire versus someone with $0 spend on Upwork.
Thanks for this video
@Zagbale Eric thank YOU! Are you active on Upwork?
Hi Evan,I need help regards to portfolio, how to build a portfolio and also how to write a snatching cover letter.
When you submitt proposal, how long you should wait for the client to give you answer?
I have tried all possible ways and helps I got from RUclips, my profile is even 100% complete. But I don't still know the missing link because I have not got a job since I joined Upwork. I am a graphic designer. Please I need your help if you can look into my profile for adjustments.
Thanks
Daniel
I get demotivated very easily. As soon as I open upwork, my mind begins to race and have bad thoughts. I start thinking things like, I am not good enough, there are so many people who can do the job better than me, I think I will never be able to earn money.
My #1 question is how do i find out how much other people are proposing for a job?
Short answer: Freelancer Plus subscription, and math (guesstimation of averages - you get a range and the median, but not exact proposal amounts)
Even shorter, BETTER answer: Be so awesome at the RESULTS you deliver, that it GENUINELY does not matter what other people are doing - because you're the best at what you do.
Hello Jesse here.
Is it necessary to have a client testimonial before you can win your first job?
Can u explain about the proposal on the client's profile as in
50+ , 20-30, less than 5....etc.
Now let me write you a book you did not ask for 🤣🤣🤣
On showcasing projects…
The work examples you showcase on Upwork and use to show clients can be some of the most powerful tools you have in booking jobs.
One strategy I’ve used in the past:
For past work that I’d love to showcase, I anonymize the work (take the client’s name and all identifying details off of it, send it to them and ask for the client’s permission to use it in my portfolio.
WHENEVER you are about to showcase other work, ALWAYS check Upwork’s Terms of Service FIRST (ie, DON’T just blindly trust me here), but the basics go something like this:
If you built it…
…and it doesn’t belong to anyone else (ie, a client didn’t pay you for it and now THEY OWN IT)…
…and you’re not using someone else’s work…
then you can use it.
@@FreelanceMVP Gotcha thank you :D
@@onthegocode1443 you got it!
I've been with UpWork for 2 years but no work yet😢
Great channel and excellent presentations, I signed up, My question is: Can Upwork freelancers based in the USA compete with the lower job bids of workers from other countries?
Yes you absolutely can! You're not competing with lower bids - 9 times out of 10 you're competing on the basis of QUALITY OF WORK!!!
Hello sir..I don't understand the payment ...will the client deposit the money first to upwork? or would they pay you directly.
Thank you. I'll do just that
awesome, can’t wait to hear the results 😍
I started up work a month back and it's so hard to get a job. My connects are all used up an I don't have money to get some. I feel like I should just give up on Upwork😓
Hi Please make a video for agency profile on upwork
How can i find editing jobs i ran out of connects is there alternative
Hi! Thank you for your videos it helps me a lot! I am a self-taught web developer and I want to start a a freelancer but I do not have previous experience or jobs. What advice could you give me? Thank you!
Hey CHAAAAAD 🤣
Loved your video, thanks!
What's the less time consuming skill to learn in order to work and earn on upwork ?
@Basky I will give a long answer, and then a short one 🦊it's up to you to determine which you prefer!
The Long Answer...
-Long-term, your goal is to do what A. makes you happy, B. what you're naturally talented at, and C. what is the highest-value use of your skills
A. Only you can figure out what actually makes you happy, versus what becomes a grind
B. (Understand that this is a realization that took years of working, trying and failing at various things, so it's not something that comes overnight but you WILL get there!)
Hello Evan, thank you for all the Upwork insights. My question is, how do you respond to job invites on Upwork?
@Melvin murithi many different ways, always testing new approaches! We might cover that in our Quantum Course
You are just awesome!
You rock! Thanks @Farid!
