Another confusing month for Lego Star Wars Magazine Fans, two different versions of Issue 111. While the UK is still eagerly waiting for the 25 years of Lego Star Wars Special Edition (as issue 111) I picked up a different copy the issue 111 and mine has a Sabine Wren Paper Bag. Full details in the video! And a quick THANK YOU for ALL YOUR SUPPORT. My video of the 25th Anniversary Darth Vader issue was my most watched video so far.....and if you haven't seen it yet you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/nDNqhsDsgVs/видео.html
@stevemcclue5759 That's awesome! Sabine Wren and the 212th Clone Trooper are fantastic additions to any collection! 👍 My brother picked up a copy with a second paper bag with the 212th Clone Trooper as well, I wonder what other minifigs are available.
Proper all over the place for poly bags just recently. Issue 110 magazine was only seen in 2 stores locally and then gone! Great video, thanks for the updates 🤗
@marksamson4990 I really appreciate your feedback, thank you 👍 Yes it's been a very strange couple of months for the magazines. I think that when the mag has a minifigure they tend to sell out quicker, especially if it is one that people want multiples of. The 25th Anniversary Edition (UK issue 111) with the Darth Vader tins sold out very quickly in my local area.
Buying white clones in the mags for 5€ is not worth it since the clone droid battlepack sells for about 22€ and the value there is much higher. But cant wait for Sabine Wren!
@falcon55551 Definitely agree, why settle for one clone when you can get the whole Battle Pack for that price! But if you collect the Paper Bags / Foil Packs then you obviously have to buy it 😉😉 And don't forget this is a great entry point for kids to get in to Lego Star Wars.
@@thebrickcruncher indeed one paper bag or two for the collection certainly brings joy! I am adult and I collect the paper bags and then I give away the mags to kids in our kindergarten😃
Yeah I definitely think the BP is worth it unless you someone find the magazines at 50% or $2-$3 then it’ll be just as good as getting BPs (although you do lose out on value still) but it is easier to store 100 figs in bags than 25 Battle pack boxes
@NachoCheese2 yeah some people seem to pick the mags up cheaper than the cover price but I don't know how! I have sometimes seen the mini build paper bags for less than the magazine price but never minifig ones.
@Kimb4p_Monst3r You're the second person to comment that the paper bag didn't contain the correct parts. That's frustrating! I hope you get your helmet sorted out OK with WH Smith!
@Matt..S Wow how did I miss that🤔 Good spot 👌I was clearly concentrating too much on the rest of the magazine. I remember seeing Camino, thinking Kamino and turning the page! Sorry for any confusion, thank you for watching the video and I'll try harder with the posters next month 👍
@@thebrickcruncher Well I guess Spanish is your first language so you instantly knew what was meant. I just heard Kamino and thought of the planet...and then the car/movie and thought, man they couldn't have made such a bad mistake as to associate non clones with Kamino... Now I wonder if they deliberately made the Mandalorian motto "This is the way" as an easter egg for spanish speakers
@Matt..S I love the idea of the Spanish Mandalorian easter egg 👍 I've been watching some TV with Dutch subtitles recently and noticed "vader" is Dutch for father... this is probably common knowledge but I didn't know....
@@thebrickcruncher But Vader is merely based on invader. Same as Sidious being shortened from insidious. George didn't know about Vader being Dutch for something.
@galedrpepper Wow, that's a wild mix-up! I think a misprint would have been better than a missing torso! From what I've read you have to contact the magazine publisher if you want to get this fixed rather than Lego.
@PixelArcherCookie Good to hear that you got your Darth Vader OK. Yes I saw the UK would get Sabine Wren as issue 112. I guess some people will be disappointed that they won't get a Phase 2 Clone Trooper next month. But you will probably get it with issue 113.
@PixelArcherCookie yes we usually get it in Spain a few days before the UK. The Spanish issue 112 comes out on the 9th August and on the 14th August in the UK. But Spain & Germany will get the Phase 2 Clone Trooper and UK will get Sabine.
I don’t know if I like the idea of getting the plain clone in the pack, I like it for maybe collecting but army wise, I think the BP at $24 will be better
@NachoCheese2 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I completely understand your point! The Battle Pack offers fantastic value with a generous number of Clone Troopers and Battle Droids for the price. While the basic Phase 2 Clone Trooper can be purchased for less individually, getting the unique paper bag / foil pack can make it a worthwhile addition to your collection. Also, if you only want a few basic clones, grabbing the magazine at cover price from a local shop is a great way to avoid shipping hassles.
@ename6622 Sorry for any confusion. It's currently exclusive to the minifigure sw1302. The previous Sabine minifigures (sw0616 & sw0742) both used another head part (3626cpb1237) that was also used for a Jurassic World minifig. Hope that clears up any confusion 🤔
@Bart-Did-it I know it feels like time travel sometimes but this is issue 111. The magazine in the video is the Spanish edition released in July. The Sabine Wren Minifig will be released in the UK with issue 112 which should be available from the 14th August
@Bart-Did-it the magazine in the video is the Spanish Lego Star Wars Magazine Issue 111. It was €5.99. The UK will get the Sabine Wren paper bag next month, in issue 112. Spain & Germany are getting a Phase 2 Clone Trooper with issue 112.
@@thebrickcruncher that means you missing an issue ? you showed us the 111 Darth tins both of them today just realised 111 uk and in the back it says next issue Sabine Wren. It’s all interesting 🧐 all over a Lego mag lol .
@jackmanl0268 The UK cover price is £6.99 but it comes with a bonus paper bag. So you get Sabine and another minifig, these seem to be Clone Troopers. Hope that helps.
@jackmanl0268 Wow! I haven't seen them doing that in Spain, but it is probably only a matter of time. The cover price in Spain is 5.99€ but we don't get a card, just the magazine and the paper bag.
