  • This week on Y’s Guys, we celebrate BYU’s impressive 38-9 win over No. 13 Kansas State. We dive into the key moments that shaped the game, including a flurry of 31 points scored over four consecutive possessions and standout performances like Parker Kingston’s incredible 90-yard punt return, which earned him Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week. Jake Retzlaff led the charge with 149 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, while the defense was rock-solid, forcing three turnovers and holding Kansas State to just field goals.
We also preview BYU's upcoming matchup against Baylor, discussing what the Cougars need to do to continue their strong momentum. With Baylor coming off an overtime loss to Colorado, the stage is set for another exciting showdown.
Special guest Hans Olsen, former BYU defensive tackle and current BYU Radio analyst, provides his insights on BYU’s performance and what to watch for in the Baylor game. Alumni reps Dave and Debbie Talbot join us from Texas to talk about the alumni activities surrounding the Baylor game.

I knew Todd and his parents in Eugene, Oregon where I was baptized. He agreed to come out to the Copperton Ward to talk to our youth when we served as a missionary couple. What a great human being who those youth just loved him.

No Hans, you get in your truck and drive to Jay Hills house with a contract and an offer to be at least the C/O Head Coach and 10 yrs at 30M pray he will signs it. Jay Hill is an Urban Myer like in being one of the best in evaluation of talent, recruiting and most important the development of the kids. How many times at BYU do you have a bunch of Freshman come in and get as much playing time, on defense, than this group of Freshman? It hasn't happened the 40 yrs I have watched BYU football and I can't help to get excited thinking what Jay and his Defensive staff can build in the next 3-4 yrs. If they could get a coach on offense that rivals Jay and his ability to get results and make the offense a little above average and this type defense can take you to a Big 12 Championship and beyond. The Brand of BYU has never been in a better place with Football and Basketball than right now. Go Cougs!!!!
