    Just so you know….my symptoms stayed on for 4 months after my prostatitis was officially over. Slowly the pains subsided through a combination of antibiotics, better diet, exercise and pelvic therapy….it doesn’t always last for years…there is hope…

      @@dacdmetalrecycling7486 sorry I took so long....in the middle of a divorce,........I used the antibiotic meds ciprofloxacine for 28 days. I started eating better, like less sugar more vegs and much less meat. Lots of apple with greek yoghurt(!!)
      I also took walks of about 45 min even though I was in pain....took lie down rest for hours...but tried to stay active besides that, which was hard. The idea is to live as normal as possible so the pelvic muscles can go back to 'normal'....having said that, I did use paracetamol pain killers, 8x 500mg a day. I took pelvic therapie to train the pelvic muscles and anus, I did bladder therapie also and that makes you think and act thoughtful about when you urinate....get the bladder to be fuller and under 'your' control...this was one of the hardest parts but hang in there and you will be glad you did......i now have less moments of going to the toilet and it just feels better. I am as good as free of pain...every now and then it sort of reminds me it is still fragile down there but it never goes back fortunately.....I hope this will help you in some way...just keep the faith...it is hard and it does take a long time....

      Prostatitis can be bacterial or non bacterial. Can be acute or chronic. Pu de ADL is the nerve which can have symptoms sometimes confused with prostatitis.

    I had cpps in 2020. It was horrible. I went to 5 different doctors, and 1 thought i was crazy. The pain was horrible. I was in bed for 3 months. i couldn't sit, sleep, walk, or have sex. The only thing that helped was stretching with different exercises to try to open the pelvic wall. However, just one day, the pain started going away. I was told this does happen. As soon as it appeared, it could disappear. It started in January and lasted until july of that same year. I was told by many that there was a pelvic wand that would help greatly. I, however, did not try it as my symptoms had started to disappear. But i recommend this program as it might help greatly. Some doctors said it was prostatitis, but in fact, it was CPPS. Same thing as non bacterial prostatitis. Many doctors never heard of cpps, so it's dismissed. But from experience, it's hell.. the pelvic wand from many testimonials seems to work the fastest along with pelvic stretching. Hope this helps

      Any idea what caused your pelvic floor to cause you so much trouble? Like were you going to the gym or sitting for prolonged periods or I’ve heard of concentrating stress and tension, breathing through your pelvic floor. Thanks.

    Thank you for your excellent efforts.. I have a question. Do men with chronic pelvic pain in their treatment plan need first to relax the muscles and then strengthen them, or only relax them without strengthening them?

    • @zealman79
      @zealman79 Год назад

      I undertook DCT (Dynamic Contraction Technique) for a couple weeks. then did gym work for several months, focusing on the pelvic floor (Abs/Butt/Legs). 8 months later i was pretty much cured and could go running and biking. Then i got a hernia. Couldn't train for 6 weeks and started training Butt/Legs only when i was ok from ther hernia recovery surgery (right side, inguinal, laproscopic) My abs are imbalanced and weak and the pain has come back, obviously couldn't train abs with a hernia recovery) Not as bad as the first time, so now i'm in the process of rebalancing. Expect 6-8 weeks to get back to square one as opposed to several months (I have a strong butt/legs so not as weak as the first time) Balanced strength keeps the pain at bay.
