If snowrunner releases any type of road based Map there would need to be some kinda game mode where the physics can handle high speed and the roads not turning into Ice over 30 mph

Doesn't need to be a game more, they can re write the physics code for the whole game, that would be better

I was just about to say exactly this.
One of the things I want most in other racing games is more detailed off road traversal, even if it's just a Lamborghini stuck in a puddle, every racing game today is severely lacking in offroad simulation.
If Spintires could start doing high speed that would be amazing.

I think that’s part of what makes this game easily playable is they have hard mode They have normal mode they have new game plus and then the mods between all of that you can make your game much harder or easier depending on what you think is fun so it appeals to a range of players.

@@TC9700Gaming I agree with you tc I’m no into hard mode or mods right now but I think it would be fun to have 2 more play throughs were I do play with mods stuff like you said that’s vehicles I’ve seen around I really like all the different Mod trailers. And then one on hard mode still thinking about how I would do it. Like only buying vehicles available at the time I played that phase. Or only what I find on the map some sort of extra challenge.

first person crane modes, smart AI follow mode (instead of slow winch follow), VR mode, add some advanced winch capacity like snatch blocks, and extension ropes, and kinetic recovery ropes.

I really wish they would add an in game chat for co op. I've wanted this since the beginning. Many other games I play have had this for years. I don't understand why they haven't added this.

Only problem I have with the game is that the tires don't grip well at all, unlike in Spintires or Mudrunner. It's even more annoying when you level up a bunch to get the best grip tires and your still slipping everywhere.
Imo playing a "hardmore" in the worst Spintires game based on the driving physics and terrain traversing and then boast about it just to belittle others is the saddest shit ever
Balloon mudtires are pretty much the best the way this game is set up
The only thing i ever ask for is the game to be more alive. Actually have ai every where. Ever since i touched on the theory that snow runner is in a world thats recovering from a nuclear apocalypse. I cant bring myself to play the game knowing this. Especially with all the creepy eyes you see at night and all the creepy sounds you can hear in various spots, like the haunted bridge in tymar russia, if you drive over it at night, you can hear hammers pounding on the bridge like they are building it.
I haven't finished the video yet, but we need VR !
It would be a blast in my sim setup !
Edit: also need a default 88 kc1500 with the extended fleetside bed
Things I wish to have in snow runner: First person crane modes, Oklahoma region, 2nd gen ram Cummins dually DLC or vanilla truck, a little less difficult tasks. Maybe someone could agree
As a newcomer to the series (less than 20 hrs playing Mudrunner and I don't even OWN Snowrunner yet), It's nice to have veterans like you to act as an example and a guide in the most important aspect of all this, having fun. And yes I am and hope to for many years to come.
You should probably start with snowrunner there's easily 150 hours of missions and there's still 3 dlcs to come out this year lol
Shame you can't get the chance to play spintires anymore because it got removed from steam but it's actually good that you didn't go straight into snowrunner because atleast you can experience good rockcrawling type physics
@@Ultra4115_ I'm thoroughly enjoying Mudrunner so yeah, I'm happy to be playing it first. Of course it means I'm looking forward to playing Snowrunner that much more but I'm not in a hurry either. Mudrunner is still a wicked good game.

@@yourgrandmotherspimp1280 IMO Snowrunner is the worst of the franchise. Spintires is hands down my favourite (mostly from comfort), and Mudrunner improves on Spintires in almost every way ( with a few downgrades here and there). It’s up to him to decide what he plays.
For reference: Spintires: 323hrs Mudrunner: 119hrs Snowrunner: 32hrs.
Exactly,TC,we can't have "gatekeepers" which actually harm the community and not help it. Also console modders don't get paid. They do it for free. The Elder Scrolls,Oblivion,Skyim and this. They don't get paid. Only PC modders who have a Patreon do and that still really ad up to the hundreds of hours to make and code the vehicle and make sure it works in the environment,works with vanilla trailers or trucks. Some Akyrim modders have left because of the toxic "gatekeepers". 🙄 It doesn't affect your personal playthrough on Skyrim or Snowrunner. Let people play what they want. I personally older trucks more than new ones. That's just me. And if someone only likes brand new ones,that's fine. You like what you like and I like what I like. Let people be them.

Do you know how to fix the problem I have in snowrunner, when I go to the mods list and then go to my mods it shows nothing and won’t let me download any mods
1:16 This is what I am dealing with now because I switched from Xbox series x to pc. I was for sure that there was no way for me to transfer my progression. As I looked at my situation I realized it some really big positives like re-experiencing Michigan and Alaska with mods that I have Always wanted to use but was never able to because I was on Console. Another one was that it would be very very nostalgic and I would remember doing maps vanilla trucks and trailers.

Can we just be grateful we have such options? As a die hard casual player sometimes I want the challenge and sometimes I want to just complete a contract no hassle. Also having built in radar on mods is priceless. The Zentos and Mega cab are my favorite trucks. Can we talk about how awesome the mega cab is!? It has a f****** back up camera. Something hardcore realistic in cab view only players should want in all the vanilla trucks. Now the devs know its possible. I wouldnt be surprised if some things from RNGR or JonJon's or any talented modders mods make it to the next 'runner games vanilla trucks.

Sp i just bought the game, and played it for 2 hours straight, then left the game. Opened it a bit later only to find that the game hadnt saved my game file. Every time i close the game, it resets my progression and deletes my save. Been trying to figure out what to do for quite a while now, but no fix…. Wtf is wrong with this game
What trailer packs are you using for the scout vehicle trailers?
This game has 1 issue thats keeping me from loving it. And that is Xbox Multiplayer.
Also, I'm confused when you mentioned that people cant move saves from Xbox One to Xbox Series. I started playing Snowrunner in March 2020 on Xbox One. Got Series X in December 2020 and got my 2 main saves moved over to Series X.

I'm for people playing how they want cause that's what makes it fun to watch and share and even try out, honestly this game is a giant offroad sandbox and it should stay that way, I also don't like how the devs nerf and balance vehicles in a game that isn't competitive to begin with
I want the original L400 to be back that was my favorite truck because it took up very little space and you can do anything with it
I personally don’t use a lot of mods because I don’t want to make the game easier on myself. But I’ll use realistic mods all day. The game should have more trucks. More the merrier.
Glad that you, as one of the biggest channels from this game, addressed this topic. This division about using or not mod and people getting in their each-other feelings is very stupid and has little childhood mentality/behaviour. Coo-exiting is the word for me. Play SR as your wish and let the others play as their wish, different people have different SnowRunner preferences. Peace.
This "relatable" argument is an awful lot of words for "I don't travel outside of my own country and have no interest in heavy ATVs from outside of where I live and have never travelled outside of ever".
I've never been to Russia yet, but know of their heavy ATVs since childhood, and was curious to drive them, the same with the American ones.
We already know that Americans have zero knowledge or interest in the outside world and always need things done in their way, which was what American Wilds was all about. You don't need to use lots of words wrong to just say that you only "relate" to anything around you and recoil from anything foreign, even with speaking English like the English do, as foreigners. I guess that speaking English wrong is also "relatable" like it isn't to anyone else in the English-speaking world, doesn't make it right though. I just don't get all the elaborate excuses for being lazy and only understanding anything that is around you and having no interest in the outside world, like the rest of is have.
Otherwise those petrol drinkers you like over there only, because you have subsidised fuel prices and are 30 years behind the rest of the free world with emissions aren't that relatable universally, as you seem to assume.
snowrunner is a game where you do well when you have a smile on your face

Fell in love with the Ford Rangers at a young age, the early to late 90s ones, unfortunately I haven't seen one on consoles yet, but I've been very hopeful & waiting sense mods came to console.
Same for me but with Second Gen Dodge Rams.
To be fair there is one, but the file is massive, and it’s a quad cab that Dodge basically barely ever made.
I just want an ext cab, short bed second gen Ram, that doesn’t have a massive file.
Snow runner is all about having fun n to play the way u want with your friends or by yourself

It bugs the shite out of me that the SR devs have not even bothered to fix the bugs that have been around for a bit now. For example the bug with the lights when the vehicles are turned on. A lag and then they bug out and one will be on and the other will be off. What is that
The issue II have with snowrunner is the sound of the vehicles, they are not even close to loud enough for the amount of work the engines are doing.

Interesting video, I play the game because I love the simplicity of the concept, and when i want a break from killing zombies. I didn't know any of these issues existed around the game (community). Also, with a bit of hoarse rasp, you'd be a shoe-in for a Shaggy (of Scooby Doo) voice actor.
I agree with your points however I see more hate on vanilla players than I do towards modded players. However performance issues and glitches aside mods are amazing just not my personal cup of tea it does get annoying getting hated on for not using mods constantly..

I'm still having issues with my Snow runner 1 ( Unable to establish connection with the host
2 ( lost connection
3 ( Game crash goes back to dashboard
4 ( Connection failed
I think 98% of these problems boil down to maturity and can be rectified with a simple "grow the fuck up and look at yourself. This is a video game. None of what is happening in another playthrough affects your playthrough."
Also I think half of the people complaining about other players using mods as cheating..... Are the same people that spend way too much time in shooter games and labeled anyone that killed them as an aimbotter or using wall hacks. I would tell those same folks that camping out in a mudhole for 3 hours and calling it a proper struggle or challenge is not a legitimate strategy and they just need to get better at choosing routing in the game. See how silly that sounds??
Let the modders mod. If you think that they do a bad job, show them how it's done, or shut the fuck up. If someone in a community did you dirty, that's between you and them. Unless their mods include malware, you have no need to "warn" anyone else about how you might get kicked from their private discord or any of that BS. Just play the game. Have fun. And if you can't do that, then the door is over there.

I absolutely agree with TC and I'll be completely honest I use console mods in playthrough and I enjoy them and I also appreciate everything the mod creators do and I love this game so much.
Can any one tell me if tnb trails is on the ps5 version yet I don’t wanna download it again fir it to not be on there and have to download the ps4 one I rather just download the ps4 one knowing it’s not on ps5 yet
The big problem of Snowrunner is called physics. Trucks feel too light, sliding around like crazy. I modeded it out for more realistic feeling. Without mods is a no go for me.
Can you play the prev seasons, when buying the 3 year anniversary edition?
In real life I'm a truck driver who enjoys RC rock crawling can't afford the real thing. I am also the kind of person that is very prepared to do my job and will not go with out having what I need to deal with what ever may come up. I find Snowrunner vanilla as not being prepared to deal with my situation. With out mods I would of quite playing the game but I found out about mods got the twinsteer and a second generation Dodge and became addicted to the game
All I have to say about the matter is ... gotta love JohnJohnHotRod, those classic Chevy rigs are so fun.
Me and my son have played all the game in the mud runner games and we did not have mods for a long time and I like both it's fun anyway you like to play it

I’m having an issue on my ps5 snowrunner that wouldn’t let me load into the map, like whenever I press the button to play the map (it say’s continue) also yes I have tried safe mode I’ve tried ‘load game’ I’ve tried to make a new save but Nope, no luck. It was working just fine 8 day’s ago. all the help you could give would be appreciated. PS sometimes SnowRunner gets on my nerves
I actually bought the game on ps, loved it and my friends on Xbox wanted to play so I bought it on there also before cross play became a thing😂 love this game so much and it’s awesome to see more updates when I take a few months off and come back!

on liking to get trucks dirty I remember when the Yukon Map came out me and my friends were getting the cat 770 and we buried all three trucks in the mud on the back road and we were laughing and having a amazing time but I have seen a lot of people getting mad that the three of us are using mods or by using mods from mod creators that they don't like course the three of us have been playing since the release on console so we have enough time under our belt

Is this game worth it now? The game with all dlc is on sale now on ps4/ps5. A lot of people are saying that there are still a lot of bugs an glitches. I played Mudrunner for about 50h and really liked it.
I dream of manual gearbox and different types of diff lockers with proper simulation. Now even with locked diffs wheels can still spin at different speeds, like each wheel has it's own motor or something. BeamNG does it SO much better

To be honest tomcat you missed the MA lot of us want on console more space to use more mods. I have very rarely ever seen anybody on console that is a purest and doesn't like mods

I play normal mode with vanilla trucks and maps for my main playthrough but idc if someone uses mods. Sometimes I'll even use mod trucks on mod maps and it's fun. I don't understand why people are so damn hateful

None of the maps are playable for me none of the bolders load or the ground is all red no Intel anywhere on how to fix
I have 1600 hours of progres on pc also have every dlc, thats more than 100euro now my pc is proken so i started playing snowrunner whit my ps4 but i dont have many hours on it and i only have season pass 1 and no other dlc wehigles so i liked that i can get other dlc wehigles on console from pc but still understand why its not possible
For me Without mods I probably would not be playing right now well atleast not like I do. Relatable vehicles and OP vehicles make it more fun for me.

TC, yur damn right about the true meaning of playing games in general. Gamers are a kind of family. Weather yah like vanilla hard-core gaming, or a mod using normal gamer. It shouldn't matter. What matters is, we can have fun together. Respect on and another. And if you can't, because you think you are above anyone else. Then I suggest you stop gaming and try living off the grid somewhere were nobody can bother you. The world is better off without these kinda idiots. Just enjoy your game and respect the other gamers. 😊

I completely agree... this game was only ever meant to be a chill and fun experience. No matter what your play style is... I, myself, tend to stick to a vanilla playthrough. And when I do on a rare occasion use mods, they are of a vanilla-esque style. BUT, that's my preference, and it might not be yours, but that's OK.... Unfortunately, too many ppl in the community need to reevaluate themselves and take into consideration some concepts such as:
1) You do you boo boo
2) If it doesn't apply, let it fly
3) Don't be hatin, be appreciatin
4) Mind your own darn business
5) Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one, and they all stink (relatively speaking)
6) Opinions are welcome, but are not Gospel

I still 1st season on ps5 owned since Xmas. I lasted 2 months on non mod mode, I moded just because I'm a ford guy own a bagged mustang convertible and a lifted E350xlt van. So when got 1st mods it was crazy 8s bout favorite scout and an excursion and couple rigs to make life easier. Can't forget armored truck. Even with mods game is hard. Unhappy people crip and complain just the world we live in.
I play on normal mode with GlitchWorks mods because I like the way he builds truck both “over powered” and very close to vanilla horsepower

So much addon content, serms a waste to pay anything for the bare basic and no-multiplayer ps version.

The only problem with mods to me is that they should be clearly marked if they are for console or pc.

I would love to see them start to remove the RAM usage on console we can run multiple mods that you do on PC because if farm simulator is able to let consoles run has many monitors they want without it having any hiccups I don't see why snowrunner can't figure out why there mods are there game would break due to the Rams or the mods being too many or too much for the console to handle cuz if fs22 is able to make it to where I can have more mods active that I can on here then I feel like saber interactive needs to figure out what Giants is doing to get there mods working properly on consoles without there being any ram restrictions

It would be great if snowrunner would fix their winch glitch, i cant use a mouse ever to click a winch point, and even worse i click on the trucks winch point and it does nothing like every 15 minutes. so I need to go into a new truck, from the map it has to have distance then go back to it and the winch point works. it gets old quickly and i just quit. reddit seems to find that its been happening since launch so where is the fix? BTW the mod truck your running is my favorite but i dont upgrade anything on it because it becomes massively OP for hard gameplay. They are also missing a lot of information about their tire specs that can be found in the game files.
I only use truck that are not mods an load all my loads with a crane i have planned it for other 3 years an i have 93 trucks in my garage I enjoy this game

I feel this guys point very well. I'm in a facebook group for snowrunner one that is actually decent finally, and it was hard just to find one group that wasn't a toxic mud pit. Like for example across 12+ different facebook snowrunner groups theres some how this 1 dictator of a admin/moderator who is exactly like the toxic people this guy is describing. But its across all games now days but you got these people who dictate other people in games like everything has to be their way or the highway, probably because in real life they are pathetic people who dont have control over their real lifes. (I have a strong feeling someone will see this comment and know exactly who I am talking about LOL)

I can see myself some people jumping in every post on Reddit saying "you play it wrong" "this truck is wrong" "why are you using mods on Michigan it's an easy Map"... So painful.
I don't have a Reddit account, just looking at the pics or funny videos many are sharing. But many times I was close to register just to say to these guys "just shut UP man and go play the game your way instead of coming here saying to others how to play their own game"
