there's a certain childlike spirit in Joaquin that I so deeply appreciate. personally, I think that's what makes him such a phenomenal actor. he's open, adaptable, humble. one of my all time favourites.
Imagine this! Being able to listening to this is a pure joy. Two infinitely interesting people. Can't think of a better match up. Love to be able to listen in. Thanks!
Anyone complaining about there being no video should really try to appreciate that you get to listen to these two have a conversation about acting from such a defenseless perspective from Phoenix.
Happy Birthday Joaquin! 🥳 first episode I’ve tuned into but I don’t mind listening without video. Gives me time to multi task whilst enjoying the conversation. Great content and now subscribed.
Yeah it doesn't get any better than this for people interested in Joaquin's life. It seems like he's a lot more comfortable talking about himself now he has kids.
Often I don't pay attention to the screen during long form content. The fact they know they are not on camera gives a freedom from being witnessed live.
Folie a Deux was so much better the 2nd viewing. The third act’s courtroom scenes were pure dark comedy and laugh out loud hilarious, one of Joaquin’s funniest performances to date while simultaneously being soberingly real about trauma and its effect on people. How your followers and what you create can destroy you. Both Arthur Fleck & Bruce Wayne are haunted by their own shadows in different ways.
He said the same thing about Brokeback Mountain, that he was willing to play Ennis. Then the producers and the writer denied it. Now he says the same thing about The Dark Knight. It feels like he wanted all of Heath's roles. It's not nice.
@@Tiartchannel He didn’t want those roles, did you actually heard him? How he was supposed to film Brockeback Mountain and Walk The Line at the same time? Jesus Christ people is so stupid, is sad that Heath is just remembered for that overrated role and movie.
RUclips is a destroyed community to be honest. I am so grateful channels like these exists! You get a more real feeling when you listen to these kinda interviews
Almost at the end but those plataforms on Twitter are crap, Joaquin just said lovely words to Heath and those 💩 people are saying they dodged a bullet, people is evil.
I can't listen to people have a conversations without seeing their faces or at least some visual which grounds to their intention. Much like how lipreading and context is how you differentiate between 'P', 'B', and 'D', body language and facial expression is how I decipher meaning and intent from the sounds people make. You're all ambiguous lies and gibberish without some visual grounding.
So he DID NOT get the role. He never was offered or stood a chance to play the role lmfao. Yet here we are suffering through him being "not ready" for the role. Sure budz, okay. Hollywood actors are insufferable humans. Thank you for showing this self centered delusional side of them.
He only said nice things about Heah but the real insufferable people are these Heath's Joker fanboys in that overrated movie Thank God Joaquin didn't play that Joker, his Joker was so much better, thanks to him i got interested in that character.
What? You seem like an actuial self centered delusional goof, lol. How can one misunderstand the words of someone more than you. Deal with your mental problems before using the internet.

Absolutely fantastic interview, seems like Joaquin was really enjoying himself.
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, Joaquin ❤🎉❤️🥰

I meant “defensive-less” ☝️
@@MachWonder It that in reference for how coy & a bit guarded about his acting process? I still haven't listened to it.

Such a wonderful and inspiring interview. Love the tone and authenticity that emerges. Great series. Thank you

This is really amazing. Now we wait patiently for Sade & D’angelo 😎
hearing two geniuses talk and being upset by a lack of video.
Happy 50th Birthday Joaquin
Ooooooh. This one was so special. Wow! Mille grazie Riccardo!
Great interview
First comment that is not whinning about lack of video. Best guest yet.
First reply from the comment that is not whining about lack of video, I'm not whining either
@@rocketproductions1441 loving not whining with a silent h, without it would be winning.
A comment about how you're not commenting on something is still kind of a comment about the thing you're claiming not to comment on.

Good interview but why no video ?
Glad there is no video
The lack of video gives the interviewee more confidence, allowing him/her to be present.
Good interview - shame about the adverts every few minutes.
Please start doing video! So much is lost when you can't see facial/body expression.

Great interview but the amount of ads on this video is pretty horrendous
Haven’t seen an ad since 2016
Love the show. I think video would help me understand things in a deeper way.

That shadow would be the real Joker who retired both of them.
Clown man talk in funny southern voice 😂🤣😂🤣😭
Greatest actor of all time.
I'll agree to disagree. I can't stand any of his movies.
His last 2 movies tanked big time.
