He is giving out information that most Xing Yi masters either don't know or won't give out. It's the power behind Xing yi. Xing Yi was meant for military training , which heavily relies on power rather than complex movements and wide range agility. I would say this video is very good supplement any combat style.

These are not they only three ways to breathe, but they are the first three ways to understand. There's two more that should be understood. There is back breathing (where you breathe into the rib cage behind the heart) , and full tan dien breathing which uses the front belly, the sides of the belly and the low back. They should not be forced. Imagine the inside of your torso expanding, as if a balloon is being inflated. The last example of breathwork should be done while in deep seated meditation. Forced by external muscles loses the efficacy of the breathing, and the mind and spirit isn't coordinated.

Very nice except for the sit up sets as they are not worth doing really and more prone to bad form one can do far superior ways for the core than these but over all excellent
