Love this painting Clive Thankyou ! ...Just to ask you , from one of your much older tutorials you emphasised the importance of using Gesso & an undertone before painting but I noticed you haven't done this in this painting...do you still recommend this ? .... I am just a beginner 😊
Hi every painting I do has a gesso coat and light burnt umber tonal wash or mixed in the gesso none of my painting surfaces are pure white not sure if you noticed that I do this as a standard practice thanks for watching 👍
