After seeing you in the JW Anderson sleeveless bomber, I found a very similar second hand navy oversized mens bomber with a slight sheen and I have WORN IT AND WORN IT - thank you always Trinny!!!!
I loved everything in this video, in particular the way you ended it, by leaving unapologetically with that bag matching perfectly your outfit. It was so You ❤
Always loved your ideas!! How u wear the oversize jacket was amazing. I also loved that you recommend bags that looks like jewelry, it's your creativity and matching ideas that give life to the whole look.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE your videos Trinny, your style, your ideas, your fashion tips! I love the fact that you dont slave to the high end fashion brands but you have your own unique style and voice. You sparked in me again the joy in clothes and fashion that I somehow lost. I rediscovered you during the Covid times and I am so happy that I did. I wish I had enough space to be able to organise my clothes and jewellery as you have done.
I just realized everything Trinny tries works b/c she knows her silhouette. I need to stop pulling items I know don't suit me from the gate, hoping something changed since I last shopped. I also love how she doesn't stop there and asks, does this suit my life now? And, of course, thinking through how many outfits she can get out of it. These questions slow down my "gotta have it" impulse buying.
I hate almost every outfit Trinny wears, but I like her attitude toward clothes, and that's why I enjoy these youtube videos. I like that she talks about putting together an outfit and shopping like a real person--albeit a lot more than a normal person should but that's her business.
🎉Find Trinny is a treasure trove of inspiration🎉. Her maximalist collection is museum worthy. She certainly leads a much more ✨️glamorous, formal, & high-profile life✨️ than myself. Adore her love❤ of fashion. Her self-awareness, knowledge about designers, brands, experience working w/body shapes & challenges, great understanding of visual rules, fashion history, & much more. Her enthusiasm removes any stigma or vanity associated w/delighting in such things. Her passion❤️🔥 for fashion is spirited & exuberant. She's doesn't do it to show off. She does it for sheer joy. We're blessed she shares all these fascinating things w/other like-minded souls. 🤓Greatly admire how she mixes low-end & high-end gear to achieve her amazing signature looks; how she strictly adheres to certain rules, while being completely rebellious & original about others; how she seeks out sales to get max 🐔 cluck-for-her-buck like most of us; how she promotes vintage & gently used garments... ...How she cleverly uses her skill in style to evoke the best & most ⚡️powerful sense of herself (& others); how candid she is w/her fails & fixes; and lastly how committed she is to 💪empowering & inspiring others to get their style on. 🧐She's not looking to make mini-me's. She simply wants to stoke the fire🔥 for style creativity, & experimentation as well as intentional & ageless dressing. 🤔With all fashion influencers, think it's our job to take any 💫 gold nuggets that hold meaning & value for us while letting the rest go by the way side. Cheers! 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
I don’t have her body type but I appreciate how well she dresses for hers, she has worked in fashion all her life so she shops for us as well as herself and she has a hugely successful makeup brand so she can do whatever she wants with her money, I can’t shop like this but I can enjoy it vicariously xx
I thoroughly enjoyed this video - it has lifted my mopey Monday mood. I totally relate to your knowledge of fashion being the exact same age as you! Trinny your navy outfit is perfection - you are style/class/chic personified. LOVE bag/bomber/yellow jacket. I bloody hope you bought them ~~xxxx
Really enjoyed this. I've been buying secondhand and vintage, so I am always looking at department store and designer stores. I get inspiration in colour and style but more importantly I know what I'm looking for when I'm shopping for second hand. Loved your outfit and the way the jackets etc went over it but changed it completely. Nice to see some Aussie designers too!
😊Historically, I've gotten incredibly overwhelmed😵💫 in stores like TJ Maxx or Nordstrom Rack. It's 💯×s worse in thrift stores w/endless packed racks jammed full of used, older goods. 🤏Slightly less stressed😳 in the former retail spaces bcos the air is fresh〰️& there's no nasty second-hand stigma haunting👻 me from my youth😂. 🤔Think my preconceived notions & negativity didn't serve my shopping success in either style venue. Influencers like 🇨🇦The Sorry Girls truly changed my perspective about thrifting. 🤓Earlier on they did these fashion challenges where they started w/a theme (date night, girls night, day outing, etc.) & also half a dozen related branded outfit inspo📷 from some super hip retail store. They each had to pick 3 full looks from the thrift store & fans would vote. Their success in these exercises was rather mind-blowing🤯. Whether it was a matter of manifestation, a positive attitude, faith, or simple perseverance & competitiveness 〰️their results mimicking mod high-end brands was truly impressive🎉. I'm thrilled Trinny & others make it 🆒️ to shop second hand. You can find some high quality pieces at thrift stores & estate sales for much more reasonable prices. 😉It's just better if you go in w/a game plan or being completely confident about your personal style & wardrobe needs. Cheers! 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Just a brilliant video, showcasing some great brands. I totally agree with you on having the designers name or logo splashed across everything. We don’t need everyone to know where it’s from by doing that, if you know you know 😉
I got my make over with your ladies. Really love what you’re doing. I was at the BT store the last time u came over and think your brand has multiplied in greatness! Love the Louise Kennedy jacket on u.
@Losingmychic Brilliant! I love your story! I just wanted to add and say : I ordered a similar one online a ' Ma1 Flight/ Bomber/ Bodywarmer' Inspired, in a mens size as I wanted it to be oversized. A very multiwearable gilet! I absolutely LOVE how Trinny inspires us to wear something that perhaps wouldn't have crossed our minds before, thank you again, Trinny! ❤
Ja, it’s kind of sad going to big department stores and see how they are in declined …people buy more and more online …many times poor quality clothes that last 2 washes .. 😮
you have such a style ! I like your outfit the most ! this is the real fashion intelligence/creativity , to mix clothes to obtain a new and stylish look . But of course you know this
So interesting to see in detail what makes great lasting fashion pieces and what not! 👏😍 About GANNI: They actually do extended sizes so part of their collection goes up to a UK size 26-28❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Trinny love all your utube videos, im obsessed with fashion boho, timeless classy fashion, welcome to Ireland and Dublin, just want to tell you that the cream MAC looked fabulous on you, so so classy, hope you purchased it, timeless and so elegent on you. From Aine in Co. Roscommon, Ireland x P.s. You look faboulous in that navy outfit love it on you x
I really enjoyed shopping in BT at new year, lots of loveliness. The Oroton range I saw in Oz and thought it was great but I never buy from Hobbs as it just feels frumpy.
I’ve actually been into using the Rent the Runway to have a more expensive piece to try for several days (4) before i decide if i really like it and actually need it forever or just for that particular occasion. I live in a smaller city in the country in West Texas and our mall only has a Dillards and JCPennys. But when it’s my birthday weekend the hubs and I make the trip to San Antonio where there is a Saks. And that’s when I am in heaven 😂
you lost weight and you look great! i missed theese vlogs from you, so fun and inspiring. i feel you for the bag, im opsessed with Botega Veneta one for weeeks now! xoxo from Croatia
Hobbs very good at inclusive sizes! Also in petite. Lots of soft flippy dresses. Dress up, dress down. Great denim jackets. A lot of what you are looking at does not go above size 16. Beautiful but not great on accessible sizing.
Vince actually does do a lot of floral prints. Might not make it to the UK market, but you can see them on line through the seasons. Thanks for a great episode! K
Loved this video. I think your knowledge shines when you walk through a shop because you talk us through the pros and cons of what you might consider. Totally agree about Hobbs (used to be an " aspirational" high street shop but it just is boring. M&S has more interesting clothes!!! How has that happened?!!
My boyfriend Leo and I had a lovely weekend in Dublin nearly 20 years ago and he bought a gorgeous brown bomber jacket from Dolce and Gabbana. I was a bit worried it cost over £1k at the time but spotted my daughter Chloe (23) wearing it the other day and she looked great in it.. so feel it was a good investment 🤎(PS hope Leo doesn't see this) 🤣
Thought I knew pretty much the majority of brands. Clearly not! Always a school day with you Trinny 🙏Never liked overt branding and still don’t. I find it tacky 💋
Oh to have the knowledge of shape that Trinny has 😢 to be able to walk into a store and not be overwhelmed or led astray by a print or a colour you love. To just know what will suit you immediately 😮 x
I usually wear poplin shirt dresses open from front over trousers but sadly some of them while I'm walking the shirt begins to gather on front . I really don't know what do to solve this problem. I hope you can solve it for me . Thx a lot ❤
@lilithowl yap this is truly help but some of them belts just don't work with them . I thought there is kind of spray that make the fabric like silk so it won't gather and stay down smoothly. Thanks a lot for your help 🙏 😊
😊Back in the 90s, they sold these 2.5-3" elastic pieces (or remnants) w/gold or silver clips sewed on each end. You could leave the elastic plain, pin on a brooch or silk flower, or even cover it w/scrap fabric (like a scrunchie) to coordinate w/your clothes. The metal clips had white padded grips, so they would hold w/o harming any fabric. They were designed to cleverly corral (or ruche) any extra volume of your garment in the back & out of the way. 🤓The same principle applies w/a trench coat that has belt loops where you tie the matching sash🎀 in the rear to minimize the volume in front. 🧐If your shirt dress has a straighter silhouette, you could also use a lightweight metal bracelet bangle & elastic hairband at the center back to ruche or gather some of that excess fabric. The idea is that you'd put the bangle on the right side of the garment while twisting the fabric on the wrong side, & securing it in place there w/the elastic band. The bangle will be on the inside. 😉 Still have a few elastic clips I use today. Am an hourglass & they work great on blazers to give waist definition while reducing the bulk in front. Don't know if anyone sells these things today, but that wouldn't surprise me on Amazon. Also seems basic & like something anyone could easily 🪡DIY by hand. Only used the 2nd Style Hack in a rayon tank style dress that's now too big for me after losing weight. Actually love the 🏝tropical pattern & soft fabric. This trick is great for more straight silhouette. Except I used a small jar lid & reversed the process to create an interesting ruched 3D design on the front right side. 🍀Good luck 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Trinny walks in and immediately owns the whole store❤

Trinny , you look so beautiful today. Could you share a little bit your makeup. Also I agree this depends Store is so beautiful!❤
Vince actually does do a lot of floral prints. Might not make it to the UK market, but you can see them on line through the seasons. Thanks for a great episode! K
Vince has been available in the UK for years - pretty much all the London Dept stores stock it and they also have their own standalone stores.
@@sw6325 yes. The comment was specific to the comment regarding 'florals'.
Please make an undergarment video! (Bras, Panties, Shape wear etc.)

Vince does a LOT of floral prints :)
Does anyone know what eyelet skirt Trinny is wearing over her pants? I love it!
Never mind, it's Prada
Trinny, we need you to bring out a capsule wardrobe. It would be amazing. Or what about a collaboration with Zara? Please!

Loved all of this. Thank you Trinny! Have to know what is this ring you are wearing?
BT is a must when I’m back home, even just for a bit of inspiration. Not anything over 70 and under 390 you can get the tax back:)
I wish you could do those videos daily.
So fun! Thanks!
JW bomber, OMG❤❤❤
Thought I knew pretty much the majority of brands. Clearly not! Always a school day with you Trinny 🙏Never liked overt branding and still don’t. I find it tacky 💋
Yes I like to wander around BT, I have ,some money and sometimes I want to spend it and sometimes I don't
Trinny where can I buy those jumpers with the loop over the thumb. Like that navy one you have on?
COS
Trinny, what is your black over shirt
Oh I have a Theory flower print top! I bought it 14 years ago though 😅
Oh to have the knowledge of shape that Trinny has 😢 to be able to walk into a store and not be overwhelmed or led astray by a print or a colour you love. To just know what will suit you immediately 😮 x
Trinny can you do Uniqlo please…big store just opened in Edinburgh …. New for Scotland!
I usually wear poplin shirt dresses open from front over trousers but sadly some of them while I'm walking the shirt begins to gather on front . I really don't know what do to solve this problem. I hope you can solve it for me . Thx a lot ❤
I wear them open but with a belt
@lilithowl yap this is truly help but some of them belts just don't work with them . I thought there is kind of spray that make the fabric like silk so it won't gather and stay down smoothly. Thanks a lot for your help 🙏 😊
😊Back in the 90s, they sold these 2.5-3" elastic pieces (or remnants) w/gold or silver clips sewed on each end. You could leave the elastic plain, pin on a brooch or silk flower, or even cover it w/scrap fabric (like a scrunchie) to coordinate w/your clothes.
