"Like Eating Glass" is my most-played song of all time, from my favorite album of all time, and it expertly showcases the fantastic drumming of one of my favorite drummers of all time (Matt Tong). When I set out to make this cover, I wanted to make sure that it would be as close to 100% accurate as possible. It took many long hours of studying, rehearsing, and filming, but I think what you have here is one of my most passionate and precise covers. I hope you enjoy it.
This song also inspired me to create a new intro/title format for my covers, which marks one of the few format changes to ever be implemented into my videos. Let me know how you feel about it in the comments.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOOD GOD ABOVE are you freakin precise! Very well done. Another thing that is crazy is this track was done in multiple cuts in the studio and this dude is playing it in one take!!! Women take notice...this kids a badass.
I’m not sure how I’ve not seen this before, but I’m a 62 year old East London guy and I think that Silent Alarm is the best debut album I’ve ever heard. Matt Tong held that magnificent album together with his precision percussion (you can’t call it drumming, that’s demeaning) and to this day I can’t think of more than a handful of drummers who could better him. To this kid, who I’ve not heard of before; to nail one of my favourite BP tracks as good as this - if I was wearing a hat right now I’d be taking it off to you. I hope you’re making a career with your skills right now.
I watched this in my 13-14 years. Now Im 26 and this still make me feel the same extasy sensation watching and hearing this cover. THANKS FOR YOUR DRUM TALENT!!! You are one of the persons that make me feel that drums and percussion are a BEAUTIFULL way to express energy, art and soul.

I transferred to SUNY New Paltz in the spring semester 2005. My entire first semester there, I listened to this album non-stop. This album will forever remind me of one of the greatests times in my life. I love this album

Kelly Clarkson just covered this song & though I’ve listened to Silent Alarm on repeat all these years, it was during her cover I saw how intense the drumming is on this track. I know I always loved Matt’s style but he’s a mad genius. This cover is so good. The timing. Great job. 👏

man matt tong is so fucking hard to drum to. I get nervous when I watch clips of them doing their stuff live cos I feel Matt struggles with his own stuff. You really relaxed into the performance towards the end and unleashed. Well done. I'm obssessed with this track and also positive tension
