I have a similar chair sans the guitar hanger that I got off of Reverb for $145 a couple of years ago. It's pretty sturdy. I see similar ones on Reverb for $89. This one's nice, but a bit pricey.
Is it good for a classical guitarist? I would need the foot rest to be in the right position and height in relation to the seat height. But nobody reviews that. They just forget about us nylon left knee people.
Let me know if the seat cushion stays comfortable in 6 months, I got the Quicklok guitar stool which is similar, I really enjoyed it for a while until the seat cushion was no longer comofortable. thanks for the video. 👍
That’d hangar would be handy to leave the room a moment to grab more coffee/beer etc. But that would be about it. I have a little folding stand i use for that purpose now. I think the stool would improve my solos 22%, probably more with pants !

Like many folks I was using a bunch of those cheap tripod type stands for years...make the livingroom look like a forest of guitars...about 4 years ago switched to racks of 5 or 7 etc. (Hercules brand) and feel much more secure...nothing to trip ovover or accidenly drag a cable over and crash an expensive guitar...watched that happen a few times over the decades (and of course one did the gibson headstock trick!)....I would need to see for myself how solid that chair/guitar hanger is before trusting it.
Pants vs Shorts = Winter vs Summer. I only play seated. To me, this looks like a decent stool with a guitar stand, as an after thought. I'd much prefer a dedicated guitar stand; something designed soley for that purpose.

Pants. Harem-Pants specifically. People give you funny looks, but they're incredibly comfortable and highly insulating for both heat and cold, so whether it's near freezing or extremely hot & humid they remain comfortable; and they're Unisex. BTW @LB your intro was hilarious and made me literally LOL! I don't even own an instrument anymore since I don't have the talent nor money to warrant it, but I just watch your videos for the humor.

I don’t trust guitar stands in general. I grew up with the motto, “If it’s not in your hands it’s in its case.” Guess that’s because it took me so long to save up for them when I was in my 20s.
Shorts are pants. That chair looks gimmicky. I already had to get a LaZBoy with the flip up arms because of Mr.Bailey. I can't imagine anything better.
I have a Gator case for my Mexicano Fender bass and it seems pretty good. Doesn't feel as strong as the plastic case with my U.S.A. Strat or my Martin 00028. Not sure on the chair, my still prefer a Stool, but don't want a Sample...
I had a Gator case. It was empty and I left it on the back of my truck. I took off and it slid off, falling tge 4ft or so to the pavement and the case exploded. It broke in two different places and had pieces falling off all over the inside of my car. I expected way better performance for all the hype. This case was junk. I got that one with a guitar, but now I know better than to buy one.
NOPE on the guitar hanger. And Gator refuses to fix the terrible seat issue by adding real wood instead of partiicle wood. SUPER cheap. If they ever fix that I'm in. And it's not cheap. Come on GATOR, get your sh.t together. But.... it's an easy fix folks. Do. not screw the wood scres into the bottom of the seat very tight and lock them in with epoxy. Mix the epoxy, porr it onto the srew holes and quickly lightly tighten the screws. Problem solved. Those screws will NEVER come out. If you wear out the seat you can just drill the srew heads off and the seat will come off, easy. Your new seat will come with screws.

Inspect your stools. I could never get my head wrapped around that medical instruction. Anyway, in looking at similar guitar stools in the past I thought I would probably trip over the footrest when getting up, sending myself and guitar ass over tip. I'd be happy with a normal computer chair with tip up arms, as per yours.
Actually I prefer my guitar sitting in front of me, I could never turn my back on my guitar, I took one of the arm rest off of my office chair, where I can play, and have another guitar in front of me to stare at,that seat can kick your arse, don't step on it.

it might be right because you can slide the seat up and down. but I can't say for sure
I would like to try one, but it will be hard to replace my usual $25 classical folding footrest
