I ordered an Prius Prime Premium from that dealership. Ordered it in May, hoping to get it in March. I am 70 years old, hoping it’s not too low for me. Currently driving a Honda Fit. I always wanted a Prius!!!!
This is absolutely a landmark vehicle. I am used to sitting down and getting up to access/ exit from my Civic. Not fond of steering wheel or heads up display..wheel interferes a bit with instrument sightlines, but I can live with it. Currently plan to buy a Prius LE, a base model. It lacks nothing but the sunroof which I don't find necessary. Like the base cars alloy wheels with Tesla-like black wheel cover aero spats. Looks amazing in dark grey with black inside. Base cars narrower tires provide better mileage results, the Prime has great local commute all EV mode feature, but the money savings to go with base is a much better deal! As usual, an excellent review!!
Id probably just get the base model. Hope these become eligible for at least half the federal incentive in the future. My state is implementing an additional rebate this spring. & Plug in hybrids are sales tax exempt here for up to $15k of the purchase. In Washington state.
After waiting 21 months for our new Prime it finally landed five weeks ago. Since, we've driven it around 1,300km (812.5 miles) and, the gas tank is still over half full. We plug it in every night and run on battery only. The EV range is around 80km (50 miles), without burning any gas. It costs $1.72 to charge the battery from empty here. But gas runs $1.91+ a liter ($7.21+ a US gallon). We'll be running in EV mode for the life of the car. It's built to do that.
@@TomLawlor-iq6gm My wife waited a year to get her new Prius prime and we also traded in our Prius hybrid ,since then she has traveled 2600k and just yesterday had to buy some petrol 30 liters pretty awesome fuel ecomomy !

I’ll have to get my hands on an LE trim. Thanks Louis.

Uh dude something is definitely wrong with that reversal camera. It’s totally different from what I’ve seen in other videos. WTF?
I’ve got the same XSE trim and my camera is identical, no trajectory lines. This is so disappointing for such price tag.
If the bottom of a steering can be cut for easy entry and exit why can't they cut it for the screen
What kind of watch are you wearing, very nice.
Thanks. It’s a Breitling SuperOcean. Thanks for tuning in.
A lot of Cabin Noise from outside/Road Noise?
Yes
Dislike the red accents on the inside upholstery.
it is not recommended to run just on the EV
