    This really helped, thanks 👍 the IKEA instructions are comically bad

    I always start with a 4mm masonry drill bit and center punch the plaster with a masonry nail. Then the bigger size drill glides in. Allows for more accurate drilling. Plus usually I get the missus to hold the hoover end up next to the drill, well its usually her that wants me to put stuff up on a wall I've just painted and finished so I insist she helps.

    Have the same, but they don't stop. When i pull them, they role all way up. Any idea?

      You have to pull it down to create the brake - not up.

      You might have fixed it already, but for people encountering the same prob, I think it was because the side where there's a + hole (not a lock) was not pushed all the way

    Is this the sandvedel blind?
    Only ours will not go up and down with ease and we are not sure what we have done wrong?

      Yes there is a comment below about this - a lady suggested it can happen when the side with the cross isn't pushed all the way in.

    How sheer are these? can you see through them or do they provide privacy?

      Fine in the day and when the lights off but can see silhouettes when the light is on at night so not 100%

    How do these blinds roll back up?

    • @jackyjones8873
      @jackyjones8873 Год назад +1

      Give them a short pull downwards and let go, then they roll back up

    Time for some Stakker Humanoid legal advice!
    When dealing with naughty online blind suppliers look at their terms to establish if there is indeed a 'tolerance' which they claim to supply to.
    What is this "insurance"? Never heard the term used in this context before.
    If the value of the goods is over £100 (might be a minimum of £100 - even the Glorious Stakker Humanoid can't remember everything!) and paid for with a credit card - fill out a Section 75 claim to resolve this and get your dosh back (possibly minus any carriage charges you incur).
