A lot of heat coming. I found myself at a crossroad. Plant my ground because it can handle the moisture better and I can get out there, then focus on custom work next week, and accept a June planting for my ground this year. Or wait. Im waiting. Wish me luck 🍀! It’s not just how it hits you this year, as you know. Getting those cover crops off to a robust start for next years cash crop, after bringing in this years crop is a delicate balancing act. The 1.6-1.7 beans we plant helps with timing.
How are you going to kill the rye, I know you are going to crimp it but how when it’s so young, are you sure it will grow to anthesis when the soybeans are in that v2 or 3?
organic all the way
