Dang it, I thought you were back. It just popped up in my feed. You need to come back buddy. I need farming videos that don’t make me want to punch myself in the face.

You have got it figured out with the rotary hoe. If you can find one of the old drag types. It is a lot simpler to pull it backwards. If you could have pulled one backwards over that crust when the beans were trying to get break through. You would have had an even stand and less clods when you cultivated. A roller will work if you can regulate the pressure to just crack the crust.

Maybe you have but if you want to see someone on here talk about row crop cultivation, look up Gary McDonald from Springfield, IL. There’s some good videos of him covering every aspect and I’ve never seen anyone with passion for cultivating like he’s got.

Wow you sure have the Cultivator teeth a long way from the row's!! Move them out a little to get a lot more weeds out.

I don’t disagree with you. There’s just a couple inches of play in the row unit. So i errored on the side of caution. The cultivator needs rebushed. But that’s for another day.

You have planted to wet? The beans are jam on stickie cold soil?
