Other versions are cool too, thats just my favourite one. And I guarantee it can be carried in ordinary jeans pants.

As someone who tries to spin a pen around my thumb more often that can possibly be legal and risks my retail job every day by flipping and spinning merchandise while I work, I can tell you that he dropped that sword (or whatever he practiced with) about 8 million times before hitting that flip for the vid, lol. Excellent job! I commend your tenacity!
do you suppose corvo and emily have a small piece of fishing line on their folding blade? It would make all their sword flippy shit (actually possible and) a little less cool.
In game they have a mechanism, part of the hilt comes out - but still attached - they flip it to get the blade out and then secure it in place with the mechanism closed. then just open it up again to get the blade back into the hilt (if you look in game closely you can see it)
@Jenn Cooper that doesn’t make the flipping any less difficult (I have a replica with a handle that opens the exact same was as in the game, and if you want to flip it, you either have to use a thin piece of fishing line or basically perfectly throw it so it spins perfectly in the air to release the blade before catching it again when it is upright - something which is near impossible)

You honestly did a really good job of concealing the line that was helping you pull off the flip. I knew somethin' was off about the way it suddenly veered into the toss, but even with slowing it down, it took me like 20+ watches. Bravo!
Ok this is super off topic but if anyone pre ordered The Elder Scrolls Online you got a little metal ring thing thats on the cover of the game with the eagal, lion, and dragon head. Well i lost mine and cant find it and now im sad.
I use to try and see if I could do that too, never knew it was impossible without the string, props for making it look good, I even noticed you examine it like Corvo does before flipping it open
Remember that Corvo was known for being a duelist by the guards, even taking on five opponents at once without breaking a sweat, so the man knew his craft long enough to master it to such a degree.
Just gonna say now as I was about to buy it I saw the shipping is expensive as hell. It comes to around £50 or £70 if I remember rightly. Almost £200 if you want it already made and painted so I'm gonna get a 3d printing service to make one with this guy's files

Not if your running forward and just so happen to hop off a short dropoff at just the right speed, angle and positioning of the right body parts.
