- It was 5 years ago on my birthday I started ARK. I still remember the first night on The Island. It's been a pleasure to play this game for 5 years.

Absolute legend for not including Genesis 1 or 2. Based.
Ark is a game i dedicated 7 to 8 years of my life to ever since it was just a game preview on xbox and i dont regret a second. I remember all the hype from my friends when scorched earth was announced and now thats only a small footnote in how big the game has gotten. I cant wait to see how ASA breathes new life into my favourite game. With the new engine, mod support and upgrades ark is getting i will see you all on the other side survivors. Cheers to a new beginning!

Seriously, dude? C'mon. Ark Survival Evolved isn't going away. Only official servers are shut down. Why is everyone pushing this narrative that it's over and done just because the official servers went down and ASA is around the corner? Did everyone forget who is helming this project? Snail Games, and Studio Wildcard. BOTH companies have a history of broken and incomplete products launching before they're ready, and Wildcard especially after being acquired by Snail has continued to give us broken and incomplete features in Ark SE which required months, if not YEARS of patches before it finally became mostly feature complete. Why does anyone believe ASA will be any different? I guarantee, beyond any shadow of a doubt, we're going to see lag, broken mechanics, bugs, and other lackluster features in ASA which are going to piss off the community, Wildcard will deliver an apology for delivering a product that wasn't ready for launch like every other company does, and people will start going back to Ark Survival Evolved until ASA becomes playable in the next 2-4 years.
The reason I made this video is simply because I was deeply moved by this music. When I listen to this music, it brings back many moments from all the times I played ASE, and above all, it gives me a strong sense of the end of a journey.
I know and agree with many of your concerns. However, despite that, I have many enjoyable memories of playing ASE, so I am looking forward to ASA as well.
