I recently saw the class crest designed by the class of 2022 and it included "1972" in the design. As a member of the class of 1972, I can tell you that it was greatly appreciated and truly exemplifies the meaning of Another Link in the Chain. So, thank you class of 2022 and good luck in the future...and of course, Beat Army!
When the Center entrance doors to Bancroft Hall are closed following the Induction Ceremony thousands of lives -- both on the inside and the outside are changed -- FOREVER! Another link has been added to the Long Blue and Gold Chain.
0:10 I understand that he's a chaplain (so he'll never hold a command position), however I'm still confused as to how he's still only made it to rank Lieutenant (O-3) after 19 years in service, especially as a USNA grad. Most officers reach O-3 after about 4 years of time in service following commissioning. He should definitely have been promoted to at least Commander (O-5), if not Captain (O-6), by now.
I have been wanting to go to USNA since 6th grade and am planning to apply next year. I have a high GPA and am taking many AP classes. Does anyone know what else I should be doing to help me get in and will this be enough?
Did you get in? If you did, congratulations! If you didn't, well life has a lot of disappointments but it can be good and rewarding despite the fact that what you end up doing turns out to be the best for you in the end. But here's hoping you made it to the Academy! Go Navy!

Leadership positions even in smaller sports help you pretty much should have a varsity letter to be competitive at all.
