I'm very happy with my soprano. One thing I dislike, though, is that the frets blend in with the fretboard. I'm having a hard time putting my fingers in exactly the right place, right near the fret. If anyone knows of a way to paint or color the carbon fiber frets, please share the specifics regarding product used and if the strings have to be removed or can just be moved out of the way. (I don't know how to remove/change strings yet.)

If visual fret lines are important to you, the kala waterman comes with painted fret lines. However I personally find it to be inferior to the Enya nova ukes. Thanks for watching! 🙏

@@TomCreanMusic - Since I wrote that comment, I have used a Sharpie pen in silver to color the frets. It looked great at first, but as I feared, the color eventually rubbed off. Plus, now one of the strings sounds weird, like it rings out too long. Can't believe a thin coat of ink would make the action too low now, but the strings were pretty low to start with.

The strings that come in it are carbon treble. Typically they don’t absorb as much liquid as other nylon strings..but they can. I personally like daddario carbon trebles on all my ukes minus my homemade ones.
