Let's be fair to Hook: How terrifying would it be for one Crocodile to chase you to the ends of the earth, seeking only to finish the job it started all those years ago. Seriously, that's some horror movie type stuff right there

I never said he did: my point is that crocodile makes the voodoo shark look like a lost guppy. It's like someone decided to take the Blue shell from Mario Kart Wii and give it teeth
The story is that, before the events of Peter Pan, the titular boy cut off Hook's hand and fed it to that croc, who got a taste for Hook's blood, which is why he's so persistent.

You know for being so naive and pure hearted, Sora seems to have surprisingly little remorse for killing any of the Disney villains. Shan Yu collapses to the ground and presumably bleeds out right in front of them, and he and the others are just like "Yeah, we did it!"
Agreed, that kind of attitude is befitting for someone of the dark...I'm beginning to wonder if Sora is more like Xehanort than he cares to admit.

Death is a....strong word in KH.
Its a word that really doesn't mean anything in the series, or at least is a concept vastly different from what we know it as.
Seeing as people regularly "die" and come back or can be split into multiple beings and come back willy nilly. Blame the fast and loose writing.
No there is a fine line in the series between death and other things that happen. A solidified death in the series is when the body, soul, and heart have completely left the 3 realms of the living in the games. A majority of these villains do die in a sense and are banished to the realm of darkness as punishment for their acts while they were alive. however if someone is skilled enough in the dark arts(like maleficent) then they can resurrect those who have died( like oogie boogie). To me the phrase dead in this series can be summed up by this quote from the princess bride, "You see your friend here is only mostly dead. And theres's a big difference between all dead and mostly dead."

TheDark4light kingdom hearts is already based off Star Wars ideas. Keyblade wielder would be the same as force users. Light and dark sides. Or in riku's case he's kind of balanced like mace windu.

Werewolves779 oh bullshit.. Young kid with ambitious dreams gets set on a Journey with an ancient weapon on a spaceship traveling to other worlds to fight darkness and dark side users. Then the prequel- powerful young wielder gets manipulated by a dark master (palpatine/xehanort and succumbs to darkness and ends up taking out his master eraqus/mace windu with the help of the dark master. and even having mark hamil voice master eraqus is kind of a nudge saying hey look what we did there. Never said KH copied verbatim what happened in Star Wars. KH has had its own particular differences no doubt. But its stupid to deny plot similarities and writing it off as "oh well dark and light have been used for years in stories. Besides KH is by far my favorites for the two franchises.

I’m a huge Kingdom Hearts fan. This brings back so many cherished memories of my childhood! It gave the Disney characters and villains such an emotional background.
I love the detail in Oogies kh2 death where Donald stomps on the bug like "Oh Hell No! We are NOT doing that freaky shit again!" Because they left a bug alive in kh1 and that's why the manor turned all janky.

I remember when kingdom hearts was all about saving the worlds from Disney Villains. Sadly you only get fight the Titans and Davy Jones in kingdom hearts 3.
We also fight Mother Gothel (as a heartless), Randall's blob thing, and Evil Baymax. Alot of the new worlds like Toy Story and Big Hero 6 had new stories. Although I miss fighting Pete.
Nothing is more annoying than being on that little bit of green bar left on a villian u took so long to beat down and you end up having to go thru that hell again cuz they ended you before you ended them. Good times 😂

Fitting that Chernobog be in the KH games. Not just because he's a Disney villain, but because Chernobog, in Slavic mythology, is the god of darkness. Knowing that, I'm honestly surprised Chernobog only showed up once in the KH series.
Well, originally he was supposed to be the actual antagonist of the game, being the one who created the pureblood heartless.

A lot of the villains on this list didn't die. Heck some of them were brought back from the dead. Maleficent and Oogie boogie are two examples of this.
Mistress Kixen And those two were never actually "dead" anyways when Maleficent disintegrates she was actually teleporting somewhere safe. And Oogie Boogie makes sure to have atleast one bug in him so he can stay living.
