The grads might have been annoying, but I payed attention to what it actually accomplished, and beyond destroying a few AA pieces and a piece of artillery you forgot to move, he basically wasted all his supply by randomly blowing up a unit, killing something like 3 soldiers from the unit in a building and damaging tanks, which you just repaired. Artillery is a force multiplier, it's wasted without an assault. He had the weird move of wasting all his supply and THEN, at the end of the game launch an assault without any artillery support, you know, the moment he needed it the most.
You could really feel the drain in points and units it was imposing on him the whole game, he just didn't have stuff to push.
It did force Tman to spend time and attention moving his units
@@roryr8 True, but he wasn't all that busy since his opponent had almost nothing on the field. That's why artillery is good with an assault, while you are at your busiest and your units in important position for defense, a giant wall of explosives come to ruin moral, deal damage you won't have time to repair, force you to role back your units and let the enemy get into the buildings you once held.

how good is to buy a bunch mortars and leave them on autofire?
I still feel like mortars aren’t that great… I tried it in a game and they just all died to counter battery haha
