    Thank-you. I didn't know these methods. This makes happy. Super tasty , quick curry. I'll make this next. I'd never even heard of garlic ginger organic blocks. I'll be going back to office work soon; these quick recipes/tasty food are super useful for when we don't have a lot of free time

      Yes I love making a curry this way because I can easily serve 3-4 with some rice

    Made all your Currys, all amazing! Need to be careful with the bay leaf and black pepper dry spice for some for my taste.
    Just want to say, I think your going places, it’s only a matter of time until your spotted, your gonna be main stream!

    Hi mate, enjoying the content! the recipes seem to be very similar in most videos such as the same spices and herbs, is there different recipes and types of curries in your E-book? Could you give some examples of different dishes in it? Thanks

    • @whatinthechef
      @whatinthechef  15 дней назад

      With Indian cooking, spices are pretty much the same. It’s the method of cooking that differs and obviously the protein too. The ecookbook has starters, bites, sides, and a bunch of curries which will have similar spices but varying methods of cooking.

    Am I allowed to caramelise an onion before adding the blended tomatoes if I REALLY wanted to?

    • @whatinthechef
      @whatinthechef  15 дней назад +2

      Yes of course. It would add more flavour but will take longer. Also recipe the amount of tomatoes you use.

    Can I skip the sugar? Also thanks for telling us the amount of spices this time ☺️ p.s its criminal that Taj aren't sponsoring you 😂

    • @whatinthechef
      @whatinthechef  16 дней назад +1

      Hey the sugar is to balance the sourness from the tomatoes, if there is any. I would taste first then add sugar if needed

    • @xeryan9744
      @xeryan9744 10 дней назад +1

      you can also add a little bicarbonate of soda, since its just a base it helps to nullify some of the acidity of the tomatoes. works great !!

    When I blend tomatoes it has a taste that I can't get rid of

    • @whatinthechef
      @whatinthechef  16 дней назад

      Okay don’t blend them. Just grate them or just simply cut them into segments. But you’ll have to remove the skins after they break down.
