RTX 4060 Cyberpunk 2077 4K FPS Test

GeForce RTX 4060 Cyberpunk 2077 4K FPS comparison test with all graphic presets, ray tracing and path tracing.
All scenes are shot with 4K resolution and are using DLSS 3.0 with frame generation, expect path tracing scenes DLSS 3.5 is used.
Can RTX 4060 run Cyberpunk 2077 with 4K?
Yes, the game is perfectly playable with low and medium settings without ray tracing. However, if you want to use ray tracing or path tracing you will need to use lowest graphic settings or play with 1440p.

I wonder, why they even introduced path tracing knowing that it will never run properly on any GPU till 5 or 7 years down the line. are they trying to do "Crysis" thing?

Well, its optional and only around 50% slower than ray tracing. Also probably marketing for the new GPU's.

Much rather have a game with scaleable visuals than just a barebones console port that ages poorly in just a few years.

Since it's optional, I kinda prefer they do this, that way they can optimize it and develop tech better for when it's more common practice, and lighting games like this will also (Eventually) make game design a whole lot easier. Rumors are going around that RTX's 50 series are gonna have 2.5-3x ray-tracing performance, so hopefully in 5ish years, ray-tracing will just become the norm without any worry about performance hits. Best get as many chinks in the technology out as much as possible early on.

Yes, RTX 4060 8GB memory gets over exhausted with 4K high and ultra settings anything above DLSS balanced.
