    Not bad for first timer. Remember for next time to remove the oil filter before draining the oil as the dirty oil from the oil filter housing will go back into the sump with the fresh clean oil

      how much labour does the garages charge for English folks?

    • @RyanBengal1
      @RyanBengal1  Месяц назад

      I’d say probably £40-50 for this, maybe USD50-75 ish? Depends on where you live, quality of the garage etc.

      @@Mike_5 Oh good to hear that Mike, there are skeptics but we’ve seen garages use it, plus it’s been around forever so there’s gotta be something to it. Feels like cheap insurance.

    im surprised a car can fit in those new house garages. how are house building getting away with those dimensions lol thought ur using axel stands where did ramp come from?

      @RyanBengal1  Месяц назад

      @@hassyg4083 They really aren’t fit for purpose are they. We are lucky as ours is about a foot wider and a foot longer than others so we can fit the Jag F Type in there even with the large racks/shelves. A smaller car would fit well. But still unlikely to get both doors open on each side unless it’s a tiny hatchback. Height also a problem if you have a large 4x4.

    As others have said, because the oil filter that was replaced after draining means not only oil but the engine flush chemicals are left in the sump. Check oil again to make sure all the flush was drained or it will eat away at the various seal on the engine 👍

    Because your car is tilted when you're draining the oil all of it won't come out quite a bit of it will still be left in the sump if you put the car up on all four stands most of it will drained out just a word of advice

    • @RyanBengal1

      Thanks! We flushed half a litre of new oil through for that reason and raised the car so that the oil drains towards the side of the drain bolt.
