- A week ago, Dave Mustaine provided a masterclass for some fans at the Front Row Live event. In the video, Mustaine reveals that a tentative title for the new album is: "The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead". In addition, Dave revealed an excerpt from a new song.

The acting in those films is insanely good. You dont see it in modern creations.

A Les Paul, so the rumors seem right that he'll be playing a Gibson V in 2021.
Won't be surprised if he switched to Les Pauls or SGs nowadays though. Just with his specs.
@@MaestroJericho For recording purposes I guess he probably does use LPs and/or SGs, if only to get a specific sound.
Live, though? I doubt he’ll switch. I recall an interview where he explained he’s very accustomed to the V shape and King V style control layout. So much so that other shapes can feel awkward due to the lack of a lower wing.
I think it was a video released by Dean to introduce the Zero guitar model.
Anyway, I’m very impatient to see what the new signature will be. Officially I mean. 🙂
@@darthrizzen9349 I totally agree with Dave's comment, I have various shape guitars that I play sitting down but the V is what I prefer to play standing up as you can anchor the wing to your leg while soloing for stability.

Absolutely! I remember when I went to the record store to get _Death Magnetic_ the day it was released. I could tell they were playing it on what I later figured out was "Cyanide" but as soon as I heard it, I did my best to get the album and get out of there as fast as I could. The cops told me that I probably should've just worn headphones instead of running off with it and not paying.

Man I hope they take their time on this album. Dystopian was a great album when comparing it to its predecessor. Can’t wait till they tour this new album.

Hey Mega Dave, you guys were supposed to come to Springfield, MO this past October w/ Lamb of God and Trivium. Please come back if you guys can because I saw you play the historic Shrine Mosque (Springfield , MO) back in 1993 and you had taken a young Stone Temple Pilots on the road with you. Magical Night for sure. We don’t get a lot of good metal shows here and I was so excited to see my favorite band of all time once again👍👍👍👍!
If that turns out to be the final title, the name sounds like it could be a continuation of the harsher darker tones from the first 4 albums. That little sample Dave played (tho of bad quality lol) sounded pretty rad too!
All in all. Looking forward to seeing Megadeth when they come here to Canada, and buying the album when it comes out. 😁🤘🏽

Not sure how Dave Mustaine will react when he finds out that Kiko Loureiro (guitar) ganged up on his ex-bandmate Edu Falaschi (ex-Angra vocals, album Temple of Shadows onwards) to prevent him from performing these songs on stage again, even when Angra themselves did not play these songs anymore (rumor is that they can't reproduce the songs good enough on stage...) It has been revealed in recent interviews in portuguese. More than 10 years after the album was released and he wasn't part of the band anymore, Joe Lynn Turner was the guy who called Edu on tour and told him in person that he should play these songs, they can't do that to him. Props for JLT.
Angra band members actively prevented the guy from making a living, basically, for material he co-wrote. Typical banana republic garbage you would expect from brazilians. I guess people that don't live there don't imagine the things that go down there, some things is better that you don't know, trust me. Now Kiko poses as saint in Megadeth. His guitar sound is not that good anyway, not for the kind of music Megadeth makes anyway, time to recruit a new name. Next time try recruiting someone that didn't prevent a fellow musician from making a living, that would be nice. Try recruiting someone that is not an asshole bully scammer, that would be nice. Don't ruin the Megadeth name.

@@sogmutahard1830 haha.. _Risk_ was my gateway to Megadeth, just as _Load_ and _Reload_ were ny gateway to Metallica. Keep in mind that the first records I ever bought were the single for the "Macarena", the first Spice Girls album and Michael Jackson's _HIStory_ with my first "rock" album being _Jagged Little Pill_ . Without those gateways, I would've been lucky if I ended following Eminem or someone... though probably more like Britney Spears or something disgusting like that.
@@Banana_Split_Cream_Buns Well that's actually okay. I personally think Risk so far.. is a decent album, I have only listened to Insomnia, and thought it was a really nice song. I only made that statement because although most megadeth fans probably hate risk because it is more so Hard Rock than it is Heavy Metal or Thrash. More poppy sounding. I'll have to listen to every song on the album before I can judge though.

Lol, I love Dave! This guy made me fall in love with the Jackson V guitars. And look, Im a MetallicA fan, and MegadetH fan, my channel name was inspired by MegadetH Arizona, so I owe alot to Dave. I do not think Metal,Thrash, music in general would be right without Dave and MegadetH. I know what Dave has been through with addiction, though I never injected with a needle. I did smoke heroin, snort heroin, cocaine, and good lord an ungodly amount of oxycodone,Deluded, and fentnyl. Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield saved my life and made me want to play guitar. I wanted to play lead like Dave, play the riffs like James, and have the stage presence of both. I would give anything to meet Dave and James. If I never meet the others it wouldn't bother me. But Dave and James are my idols.
