In this surfboard review I put Slater Designs new "Flat Earth" through the paces.
I highly recommend the Flat Earth for Intermediate - Pro level surfers in 2-6' surf. I suggest sizing up roughly 2-3L more compared to your favorite Daily Driver.
    My height: 5'9"
Weight: 160 lb or 72.57 kg
    Stock Boards:
    5'5" x 19 1/4 x 2 3/8 (25.9L)
    5'6" x 19 3/8 x 2 7/16 (27.1L)
    5'7" x 19 1/2 x 2 1/2 (28.4L)

Noel thanks so much for the in depth review, picked one of these up and it is amazing.. Your advice on sizing up slightly and fin choices for wave type was super helpful, the board really is fast! Super grateful that I found your channel when searching for board info/reviews 🤙

Was really stoked to see you riding Flat Earth in good waves :) The Flat Earth is definitely shining with the twin setup! The MR twin set is my favorite so far!

OH cool. Nice review and tips, I really appreciate the part about fins. It sounds like a good performance board either for small or head high choppy waves. Thanks

That’s amazing performance for a twin. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a twin go vertical like that with keel fins.

Noel, another great review. I agree with your call on the 5’7”. Your timing is always on point but the flow you had on that board was beautiful to watch.

The one with 28+ litres looked the best under your feet, good surfing Noel

I've been wanting one of his boards! I'll be having his brother Duke shape me a couple boards when I'm back in the water after a 3rd major back surgery. Thanx buddy 🤙 G⭐

I have to agree that your surfing looked better on the 5'7 with more volume. On the smaller boards you had to stay above the board in your turns but on the 5'7 you could lay into it and push harder without blowing out the tail. Great review and it's too bad they no longer carry this model for Slater Designs but if I find one out there I'll make sure to get one that's 34L as opposed to 32-33.5 that I usually ride.

Hey Noel, thanks for all the content you guys provide to us. I have the FE and absolutely love it, I mostly ride it on 2+1 set up (MR's), and I'm trying the find the right fins to ride as a twin fin; I do have the FCS CI Keel set, and I was thinking about the FCS Power twins. Do you think the power twins would go good or I just look for something else? Many thanks - See you in the water!!
