Zorc was totally a great end game villain. And honestly? I headcanon that he was even more powerful in the anime than in the manga. But no contest, he was definitely more frightening in the manga thanks to that good Kazuki Takahashi horror aesthetic. Rest in peace to a real one. ✌

They pushed Atem vs Seto earlier in the anime, so he fought Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Seto Kaiba was there, so he fought Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, and the stalemate was distorting space time and affecting the present. The Shadow RPG was presented there seemingly as if it was literal time travel, which, i wouldnt put it past a verse like Yugioh to establish that travelling through memories is to literally travel through time. Manga Zorc was represented with a card that had a health bar in the Shadow RPG, and some was depleted without fighting any gods, but if I recall anime Zorc had no such thing. Kinda reinforces the whole "MY POWER IS INFINITE" spiel.
There is an Egyption God version of Zorc Apep, the god of darkness that tries eats the sun every night. His eternal battle with Ra is the same as Yugis ethernal battle with Zork
The fact that we still don't have a modern archetype based around Zorc is kind of a shame. Hell, tons of Bakura's cards could easily work as a solid deck if Konami gave them more cohesion with each other.
That really is a shame. How do we not have a Necro Archetype with Zorc, or an Archetype all around Diabound. There is still so much possible with Bakura
I would say he brushed off a direct attack from Dragon Master Knight in the Animé, but that would imply he felt it! "It was light, but tainted light", as he put it! Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's light wasn't strong enough and that's no weakling among Duel Monsters, even in 2024, it mightn't be a good Fusion Monster, but 4500 ATK is nowt to sniff at!
A couple of errors in the video. You keep saying millennium script when it has two names, spellbook or tome. You call Zorc the embodiment of evil when he is the embodiment t of darkness as he existed eons before humanity as the calling of him being the embodiment of evil of humankind was a nerf as Takashi made a villain that Atem literally cannot beat even summoning Holstice the creator of light is impossible as you're using pure dark power that belongs to Zorc being an embodiment of that power so Takashi switched him to human negativity to help facilitate Zorcs defeat. Even in anime, they go right back to the embodiment of darkness, then just like manga, switch it to an embodiment of evil as theirs not enough plot armor to beat this man as all of Atems power or plot itself belonged to Zorc as being what he is let say discard the nerf's there's a lot more he can do that makes the situation worse for Atem to win.

Precisely, Apep or Apophis is also a serpent which is signified respectively by Zork's dragon and Diabound's snake appendage.
