Brilliant video Mat, really good to see the progress, the rad and intercooler installation look brilliant. You have the patience of a saint sorting out the panel mismatches. What a terrific job you've done. Thinking back to when you first started Clanger, all the hard work is paying off. I hope Nat is well and Amelie is settled at Uni. I am currently watching your film whilst 600 miles inside the Arctic Circle. So it has cheered me up no end, much better than trying to spot a Polar Bear. All the best, Carl.

Hi Carl - hope its not too rough at sea. Scotland SE is getting battered this week.
Progress is stop start, getting hold of parts and trying to move things along to work out whats required etc. Kids are both doing fine - Nat at college settled in fine and Amelie enjoying her degree course at Banger. Shes due home for a week end of next week - looking forward to catching up face to face. Keep well my friend. mat

@@lookcreations Hi Mat, thanks, it isn't too bad out here. Home-wise it is pretty bad in Aberdeenshire with the wind and flooding, but not as bad in Moray where I am located. It was 50kph winds last night. My back fence just about made it out unscathed, my Wife was a bit worried it might not though. Glad your two are both doing well. I hope you enjoy Amelie's time at home. Take care, Carl.

Matt I don't know If Ive said it before but I love that colour and I reckon you've nailed it by not going too precious on the finish because it's a 50 year old landy and they came from the factory with dents and dings so it would look all kinds of wrong if it was perfect,, plus you'd never drive the f'kin thing because of the stonechip terror 😂
Anyways, another great video thanks for sharing
    Stay safe

Mat, great work, as usual. She's going to be spectacular. I can't wait to see the first mud on her pretty dress. :)

I’ve tried a few ‘methods’ the problem I’ve got with the enamel is it takes days to be hard enough to properly sand. Thankfully these were on edges not that visible so I could slice off then rough sand and re coat. My friend will likely have a heart attack when he sees 😳😃

Sharp razor blade to take the high spots off when properly hardened, then 1200 w/d paper then polish 👍 😀

I think you are correct. Ive not been blessed with good weather during the spraying - either too hot, too cold or windy or damp.. still better than when I started.
