He sounds like he's doing the J. Geils Band's "Whammer Jammer" riff on it (the opening riffs).
Phil Lynott the high priest of the most brilliant rocking music, the wordsmith, the rocker, the poet, the band leader, the singer-songwriter, the man about town, any town the storyteller the hardman with a gentle heart of Gold as good as God above
Love Phil obviously feel loved Huey Lewis. They were tight. Many years!

Awesome Version of "Ode To A Black Man" with Huey Lewis on Harmonica and of course, the one and only, Mr. Phil Lynott on Bass Guitar. This is a great collaboration of seeing both Huey Lewis and Phil Lynott playing the song together. That is so awesome. Cheers!!!!
Forgot about Billy Bremner, I see.
Holy fucking shit I LOVE the Old Grey Whistle Test! Wtf is all this!?
Phil Lynott was a genius,Huey Lewis respected him
Trail blazer and with Huey Lewis kicking ass and right behind .'ya'.
It is now May 2023 - beautiful to hear.
Huey Lewis playing harmonica!! Huey recorded many songs wrote by Phil!! They were very friends!!
I still envision Phil doing a cover of "Workin' for a Livin'" with Huey on harmonica and backing vocals. I wonder if they got to doing that before Phil died in 1986?
@@ClassicTVMan1981X Oh man You're onto something there. I can hear it achingly clear in my head now.
We can now ....creep ...Phil Lynott ... towards musical recognition.
Getting there. Phil.

It’s UK’s Denis the Menace from Beano magazine. USA had a completely different Denis the Menace character. Freddy Krueger didn’t exist when this was filmed.
Damn, that harmonica player became bigger than Lizzy ever was.
No he didn't
@@patrickcummins1933 Thin Lizzy is a huge rock band in the UK and Europe. Huey Lewis was a household name across the western world and beyond.
The two had been best friends since Huey's days in Clover, when they initially opened for Thin Lizzy one day in 1976.
Looks like Billy Bremner in there. Is that Terry Williams on drums?
Brian downey.
@@grumberfwarcraft7282 I checked it and it is Billy Bremner.
Its Brian Downey without doubt.
Wait a second, Huey Lewis was cool?
Yes, he was. But sadly, these days, due to Meniere's disease, he can no longer tour since the disease caused his hearing loss.
Theres Phils Band. Why Grandslam
Lew Lewis ?
Savage Harmonica playing from the cocaine eyed Huey Lewis.🤪
Une rareté? 🙄
Terrible sound on the vocals.
