In this video we are going to look at how to configure the VEX IQ Generation 2 sensors of the VEX Full Volume season. There are so many students who become frustrated with autonomous programs that they write as they don't calibrate the inertial sensor on the VEX Generation 2 brain or perform deep calibration. There are 3 different sensors we will explore in this video.
We will begin by looking at how to use the console windows to monitor sensor values using the VEX Optical sensor object detection, hue and brightness and output these in the VEX console in an organised format. We will then look at how to use the VEX IQ Distance sensor to see how far objects are away from objects as well as how we can get the VEX IQ distance sensor to identify small, medium and large objects. In the final part of the video, we will do calibration and deep calibration of the built- in inertial sensor in the VEX IQ brain.
