    Thank you for sharing. My husband just had his transplant 2 weeks ago. It was and still is difficult to deal with all of this. I feel like o no longer have a spouse I’m just a caregiver for him and it’s exhausting. I love him but honestly I wouldn’t be here if he was my boyfriend,,too much to handle. I pray a lot I just wish he was more independent

    Great video as always. I completely understand when you talk about what you put others through. Before I even knew what my diagnosis, no would often find myself making plans with my now ex on any certain day and find myself needing to cancel by that evening. It would frustrating me, it would often anger her and she would argue about why I would be nauseous on the nights we made plans or if we did actually follow up on maybe dinner plans I wouldn’t do more than just move my food around on the plate. This is a disease that clearly effects more than just you.

      I can relate to those kinds of stories all too well my friend. Some stuff is hilarious to leave back on but the most of it I would not consider to be my finer moments in life.

      @@fortressfarms82 I’ll tell you though, I had a great doctor who at one check up she said the next time I came (which would be the following month) f she would have hospitals lined up for me to go to. CSI I did what every normal person would, I didn’t show up to my next appointment 😂. But like two months late I was clearly getting worse and I showed up to my appointment this time. And when I apologized for missing my appointments she said something that I thought was just perfect. She said “just stop. You don’t apologize to me, I congratulate you. Do you know how many people are scared of the next step and they never return? I hate to say it, but those people are more than likely dead. By coming here you proved you want to fight. And I’m sure as hell going to see you through this”. That talk saved my life.

I love all of your content & have been watching everything from day 1! I'm in downtown Toronto so no the wildfires aren't impacting me at all but I'm so sad about all the fires impacting my fellow Canadians. All I can do is pray for rain.

    Drinking almost killed me (and left me with permanent brain damage) 26 months ago. The end was so dark. Keep on keeping on! I've just celebrated 26 months of sobriety and have been told by the doctors that I can never drink again. I believe them because I know there are things so much worse than death now.

You are strong and having support from Keri is beautiful, she has seen you good and bad and is still there ❤ I know not just alcoholism but other chronic conditions can cause families to break up . Just because you drank does not mean you’re not a good person. And that is what’s important 🫶🏻✌🏻🥰💚 Have a great week and see you in the next video Nick. Big hugs ❤😊

      My capacity to exercise is still quite limited. I still have a hernia that can't be operated on and my joints are all in pretty rough shape. However, my neighborhood has a pool and I go up there whenever the weather permits and swim laps. It's low impact and it works my entire body.

    Keep up your good work. It's therapeutic not just for you but for people watching. Then the people watching go tell a couple people and you know how the whole butterfly or domino effect goes.
    You're looking little healthier with your skin. Which is a Segway to the next question. Where are the recipes that were missing? Hahaha. Whenever you can and if you want that would be cool. I think you've been getting plenty of vitamins in your body. You're not pregnant are you ? Just asking just asking because you have that glue that pregnant women have and if you're pregnant then tell me and we're going to make some money😅. You know I'm just messing with you bro. I got a weird sense of humor. Thanks for another great video and hope it helps you as much as it helps us 🤞🏼💯🙏🙏🙏✅

Yes, making these video's are very cathartic for me. I sometimes find myself saying things and expressing feelings that I didn't realize I had. I don't edit or restart videos once I start to record them I try to make them as raw, real and honest as possible.

    How do u manage ascites...is it disappears or are you taking any medicine for it

    • @fortressfarms82
      @fortressfarms82  Год назад

      I take diuretics for it now. But I suffered with it for about 9 months. I required a paracentesis every 28 days to remove the fluid. I averaged about 12 liters each session. The most that they ever took at once was 20 liters. I have a video on my channel where I talked specifically about ascites and my battle with it if you would like to check it out. It's titled "My body was about to EXPLODE!"
