I was in NY viewers. I can honestly say it was an amazing event to be a part of, I missed a lot of the event, simply surfing those very days. So to watch that and see the surf again and watch it unfold, nice. I even admire the way you put sarcasm into the way your man delivers his line. But then you put that thing over the end credits - that pretty much contradicts the authenticity of what you just showed me. w?
12 years later: I have heard this event talked lightly of in the decade since, but what went on here had that special feeling that pro surfing had in the 80's and 90's and has since vanished.
Brazos winning workd titles was a laugh at this point in time. Its a shame what this decision has led to with the one world ranking. Directly leading to a crap skate tour today. Thank God for Crosby and his bro!!!
