That's traditional martial arts thinking. "Don't put yourself in a situation where you'll need to defend yourself". It's the same as winning the fight without fighting it.

That is to say, I never really thought of you as a bad example of a leader, militarily or generally. I disagree with some of your behaviour and tactical choices (not in Ramadi specifically, just in observation). I hope Amyntosophers in studying ethics, PACS and critical, logical thinkng can examine what you have to teach in the course I built out of your works, and parse apart your clear skill and knowledge from some of the less desirable gaps in your character. In doing so, become great leaders, while remaining good people. Because it really doean't seem like the failure of Iraq falls down to how operations in Ramadi were handled. Albeit extreme ownership should beg you figure out how it did do that... It isn't clear to me it did at all.

This is where you peaked in life.
First
I bet your mommy is so proud of you!
I tend not to be critical of your specific operation in Iraq, nothing of your Ramadi missions spark obvious crticism. I don't know what I don't know... Ethically and strategically I don't rhink it waa good or right to enter Iraq whatsoever. You in Ramadi feels like "winning the battles, losing the war" which is why I say strategically you should have been in Kabul, not Ramadi (or some other place in Afghanistan, I'm being broad.) Divided forces lost both arenas and achieved too little... Plus only the Afhganistan mission followed ethically from 9/11. Too many civilian deaths. Albeit, Afghanistan purged their heroin trade after so that was cool...
It was an offencive war with mant defencive operations. Amyntosophers wpupd have engaged in a defencive war. But the principles of the operational morality is still in development. Once I am done the course there will be much to improve. Both factoring in better war philosophy and better pacifist philosophy. Better fitness awareness and better scientific awareness.
