Join me in this festive season as I dive into my first-time reaction to Pentatonix's stunning rendition of 'White Winter Hymnal,' originally by Fleet Foxes, performed live on Good Morning America. This holiday treat is a perfect showcase of Pentatonix's vocal prowess and their unique spin on classic holiday music.
In this video, I am mesmerized by the impressive choreography and the impeccable coordination of Pentatonix. The way they blend their voices in harmony, each member contributing their distinct sound, truly captivates. Scott's vocal wobble, Kirstin's intense focus, and the entire group's synchronization are highlights that make this performance extraordinary.
Their holiday spirit shines through in their festive outfits, adding an extra layer of joy to the performance. It's not just about the music; it's about the experience, the visual and auditory spectacle that Pentatonix so masterfully delivers.
What's even more impressive is their ability to synchronize so perfectly with the pre-recorded sounds, making it a seamless live performance. There's a moment I discuss where Kirstin seems to have a slight discomfort, but the way the group adapts and continues flawlessly is a testament to their professionalism.
If you're a fan of Pentatonix, a cappella music, or just in need of some holiday cheer, this reaction video is for you. Join me in celebrating the talent of Pentatonix and the joy of holiday music.

Kevin, who is usually overworked, gets to relax on this one, and laugh inwardly at how hard his band mates have to work to do the body percussion.

I saw them in concert in December 7, and they performed this from a secondary stage in the middle of the arena, sitting in a tight circle with their backs to one another, creating a lovely theatre-in-the-round experience.

Scott and Mitch were both sick on this performance and actually had a couple of concerts where they had to perform off=stage. The show must go on! :) You really DID drop a lot of songs today....FUN!

Yup...a clap track was used...likely the same one they use at their concerts. They do perform this at their Christmas concerts this year and last. There was a clip/short last year of Matt practising and trying to get the timing and hand choreography right. He had a rough time of it.

Listen to Mitch Grassi, member of Pentatonix, singing "Your Power" from Billie Elish. Unbelievable.

Kristen seems to have difficulty with earpieces. I’ve observed her adjusting them a lot in live performances over the years. She’s such a professional you barely notice.

      That would make perfect sense.

I feel like Kirstie and sometimes Mitch have issues with their in ears often. But I’m also a little more sensitive to it as a hearing aids user I tend to notice that kind of stuff.

I noticed too. They adjust them, take one out depending on what they want hear, etc. I think I saw a clip of Scott explaining everything they are used for.

I remember seeing a clip of Mitch saying that he needed to clean his earpiece because he had a lot of ear wax. I love watching ear wax removal videos, yes, I'm weird. But the audiologists that I watch all say that ear wax is not a hygiene problem, it's a natural cleanser for the ears. They also say not to put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear, so no qtips. Mitch might just have the genes that produces more ear wax, it happens.

I must say that I have a strong preference for the original by Fleet Foxes. It is livelier. This rendition is a bit flat sounding, especially at the start of the verses. It may be the fact that they are trying to keep time with each other.

Well, do you have any idea why that kind of singing does not move, although all (seems to be) on point? It is kind of being in car store watching how "great" those super-cars are looking like.
