  • Funny clip from Stargate Atlantis, season 3, episode 1 (3x01, No Man's Land). Lt. Col. John Sheppard ends up in an F-302 planning an attack on a Wraith hive ship, with some "help" from Michael. Hilarious quotes ensue.
    Disclaimer: None of this stuff belongs to me, it all belongs to the wonderful MGM, who owns everything in the wonderful world of Stargate. This clip for entertainment purposes only.

    To think, if they hadn't tried jabbing Michael again, he could have joined up with Todd as one of Atlantis' "allies," and they would have avoided all that trouble with Teyla and the Athosians.
    Of course, Carson never would have been cloned, and thus the writers would have had to figure out another way to bring him back.

      @@BlackDiamond2718 The main problem was that he couldn't stay because just like with other Wraith they had as prisoners they "couldn't meet his dietary requirements." And they also couldn't risk letting him go in case he was captured and forced to give up information about Atlantis's survival.
      I think an ideal solution might have been to give him the retrovirus again, but have him leave a tape for himself so that he knows the truth. Maybe with more time and research they would have eventually arrived at the same middle ground Michael ultimately wound up at anyway. With his memories and some of his Wraith physiology intact, but without the need to feed.

    For those wanting more, read the Stargate Atlantis Legacy book series. Its the show's official continuation and is 8 books long. They said that's the last one but they also said that about book 6. Basically they return to Pegasus to find that in their absence a powerful Wraith Queen named Death has arisen and united the Wraith under her leadership. What she doesn't take she destroys. She even turns McKay into a Wraith at one point. They defeat Death in the end (I think Teyla kills her with her telepathic powers) and form a truce with the Wraith who give them half the galaxy. They also come up with a new retrovirus that allows the Wraith to feed without harming the human. That's proven when Zelenka allows a friendly Wraith to feed on him to save its life. The last 2 books feature the return of Weir and Ford. Weir was Ascended for real by an Ascended Asgard named Ran but returned to human form after she intervened to save McKay's life. They have to deal with the Vanir who want Weir so they can find Ran and force her to Descend as they think she's the key to saving their race. They also come into conflict with Todd who's chasing a Wraith enemy he wants eliminated. The enemy turns out to be Ford who's still alive and back to normal. He even has his own family. They convince Todd to let him return to Earth instead of killing him. Weir finds a diplomatic solution in the end: instead of FORCING Ran to help they ASK her instead. They travel to Earth on an old Asgard Scoutship where they use an Ancient Shrine to communicate with Ran who agrees to help and returns to mortal form to do so. Afterwards Weir is returned to Atlantis until her humanity is confirmed but has no plans to stay while Ford finally goes home with his wife and son and is reunited with his cousin and grandparents.

    • @WarGrowlmon18
      @WarGrowlmon18 8 лет назад +7

      +OriginMSD Those books are REALLY good!!! The last book that has them fight the Wraith has an INCREDIBLE final battle!!! Its Atlantis (flying again, flown by Sheppard and briefly Beckett and Jack O'Neill who commands the battle), the George Hammond (which is the ship featured in the books), a small Wraith fleet led by Todd and a fixed Ancient ship called the Pride of the Genii against Death's fleet. Sheppard is actually able to destroy a hive ship with only 8 drones from Atlantis using precision aiming. Todd destroys two as well. Apparently its a matter of knowing the right spots to target. Teyla kills Queen Death with her mental powers in the end. In the books her powers are greatly increased because Todd trained her in them when she posed as his queen. She spends some time posing as his queen again as well and in a couple parts of the 6th book the Wraith who encounter her in human form are shocked when they realize she was Todd's queen because she was so powerful. The current Queen Death in the books took her name from a Queen so powerful she was legendary. Todd eventually tells Teyla the team fought the original Queen Death on the show: she's the Queen Sheppard and McKay killed on the bottom of the ocean.

    • @jamesmeiklejohn-williams7641
      @jamesmeiklejohn-williams7641 8 лет назад +8

    • @WarGrowlmon18
      @WarGrowlmon18 8 лет назад +1

      They ARE organic but there are some mechanical parts. Even if there weren't something THAT important would take awhile to regrow. When Sheppard and Ronon blew up Michael's hyperspace generator they acted like it couldn't be fixed.
