Seriously, kale will make you feel good right after you eat it. My neighbor gave me some, I'd never tried it. I made a salad with radishes, onion and cucumber. Only a little salad dressing. I FELT GREAT AFTER I ATE IT. I did not miss not having meat in the meal, so I ate this salad daily for dinner. I lost weight, wasn't trying, just happened. This salad is the highlight of my day. Something in kale makes your body feel great immediately, don't know what it is, but if I'm lying I'm dying. I have lost 30 pounds now without even trying by having this salad every night at supper. The times I can't find kale at the store, I feel really let down as the salad has quickly become the highlight of my day. (Kale doesn't spoil quickly like lettuce, so no wilted waste either) All I can say is I wish I'd tried this vegetable 50 years ago.

It is the region that determines the frequency and even more so, how commonplace it is that certain foods are consumed. Education and exposure also play a huge role in food as well.
