Horizons is one of the most beautiful songs accompanying one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever experienced in my entire 24 years of life. Much love for this game, and the people who made it everything is full of beauty and long lasting memory.
It is interesting how throughout the entire game, there is always the same five-note musical motif. Even the robots incorporate it into their "receiving orders" vocalization
It may as well be criminal that it has taken seven years for Furukawa to get another video game project. His stellar work on 2016's The Last Guardian made it my favorite video game score of that particular year. Happy as I am that we finally have more music from him, I genuinely hope it is not another seven years before we hear more of this man's outstanding compositional talent. Get this man much, much, much more work! Edit: No, I don't count his work on Mythic Quest, which was incidental at best. Planet of Lana represents the sort of scope to Furukawa's talent is most relevant.
I just stumbled upon this game. I have no idea how I haven't seen it until now, but what a gorgeous looking game. I can't wait to download and play. And this soundtrack is breathtakingly beautiful. Simplicity and complexity blended seamlessly. A theme continuing throughout.
Played a good few games this year so far including the likes of Elden Ring, Horizon - Forbidden West, Tears of the Kingdom and now Pikmin 4 as of tomorrow, but amongst such gems, this is a game I'll look back on fondly and in no small part thanks to the soundtrack. This was just such a breath of fresh air, a game that wasn't stupidly long, stupidly difficult or overwhelming, just a beautiful experience made up of fun gameplay segments, a wonderful artstyle and some incredible music! Amazing things really can come in small packages :D
Saw the curious archive video some part of me wants to watch a play-though to experience it now some other wants me to wait until I get home from my vacation to play it

You are a beautiful gamer ❤
I'm 45 and gamed for at least 30 of those years and I agree. That scene made it's impact for sure. Wonderful peice of visual and audible art .
Agreed, It made me cry. As she walks and the stars gradually disappear as the sun rises at dawn. Such a poignant image!

@Darkstar Meaning?
The music is that of being in the middle of an enormous meadow inside a lucid dream

Where is the final boss fight music? It's not included on the soundtrack.
This is every track included on the soundtrack album, so they withheld that one intentionally if it isn't there.
