I don’t like being negative, so I think about it from an optimistic perspective. I’ll be ok if some douche wad in a cage texting their friends crosses lanes, or makes a left in front of me, or otherwise cuts me off, at least I stand a chance of surviving if I’m padded up. I also always wear my helmet, gloves, and boots. My son recently learned this lesson Fk’n around in a skateboard 🛹. He jumped stairs and landed it poorly. A pinky Re attachment, shattered knuckle, and broken wrist later he learned the lesson: pad up for the fall not the jump. It applies universally.
Least he somehow ended up holding onto his helmet with his clutch hand.. Hopefully no one in the crowd was injured when his bike went sliding away.. Play stupid games & win stupid prizes.. Maybe don't try to do a rolling burnout with people fully lined up on either side an having multiple bikes ahead of you &or know how to actually control your bike while doing a burnout an the moments right after you stop doing the burnout.. Plus don't use so much front brake an your front wheel won't slide out like what happened in the video.. Slightly amazed at how dumb some people are while attempting to show off when surrounded by crowds of people..
