    Great comprehensive review. I already put my order in for one. Just traded my 2016 version for it. With 40 more HP this new offering from Porsche should be a beast. Can’t wait to get it!

    Hi Grodenic 191 - They are limited in the UK. Porsche dealers are allocated barely 2 to 3 each of GT4's & Spyders for this year

    What happened to all the pops and crackles of the 981 exhaust? Thought the 6 cylinder would bring that all back 😔

    Awesome review! I’m debating between this and the AMG GT S. What do you guys think?

    • @autogefuel
      @autogefuel  5 лет назад +3

      If u want the better handling car, take the 718. i d take it as T or GTS though. The AMG GT has a special look that is more unique, depends whats more important.

      This car would probably be more fun to drive, and retain its value better

    What about the gearing, is first gear still super tall?
    It would be a lot better if first gear was shorter than the last version.

    • @gauchegaucho

    Analogue gauges.... GOOD. Digital gauges for me look so artificial. Not the raw touch of what a drivers car should be.

    Why is this channel called “Autogefuel”....which is completely wrong...Autogefuhl is the correct name.🤔🤔🤔

    • @autogefuel
      @autogefuel  5 лет назад +1

      Its our short versions :) its a little with self-irony caus we shortened the “h” from the name - and then it also says “fuel” :)

    Problem is buying one - almost impossible unless you have that 'special' Porsche relationship that revolves around buying a 2 or 3 Porsche cars a year from your dealer. Otherwise, it's amazing - guess that the next part will be the PDK version due within the next 12 months or so.

    • @grodenic1918

      They are not limited like the 981 gt4 and Spyder.

      @@grodenic1918 They limited are in the UK - Porsche dealers are allocated barely 2 or 3 each for this year. Are they freely available where you are then?

      @@wackkawack6640 Afraid not - Porsche are intentionally restricting sales to exclusive buyers.

    Very sad they only come with a manual trans. I guess people don’t care about having a slower car? PDK is better performance, faster, more fuel efficient.

    • @stevengevaers
      @stevengevaers 5 лет назад +1

      PDK will beclome available mid 2020

    • @Speednote10
      @Speednote10 5 лет назад +7

      No people don't care that much about their car being 0.1sec slower to shift when the driving experience itself is so much more rewarding with a manual. The difference in speed between manual and PDK isn't noticable anyway unless you drive the cars back to back or race against a PDK car every time you're behind the wheel.
      Besides, if you care about straight line speed you wouldn't buy a GT4/Boxster Spider in the first place.

      I prefer seven eighteen vs. Seven one eight. Seven eighteen adheres to Porsche tradition.
