PS1 Games That NEEDED A Tutorial!

Here's a selection of games from the PS1 that really needed a tutorial. Probably one for those lucky people who had chipped consoles.. shakes fist
Although, to be honest we had the booklet for some of these and we still had no idea..

Digimon world! Tough game to learn but extremely worth learning! 😍 Absolutely phenomenal game!

Weirder still on The Lost World, the game starts off as a linear 2D platformer. It's all well and good until waaaaaaaaaay later it decides to lock you on a level that requires you to discover, unprompted, that you can go sideways on some roads. Pressing something like R2, on totally unassuming parts of the scenery. But you have to do so in a certain way, like running across that area while holding the button.
To this day I still find it baffling. Specially because if used well it could have been used to add some very interesting, and much needed three-dimensionality to an otherwise aging game format.

Back then the tutorial was the manual if you did not read them it was your fault like in the lost world game if you bothered opening the manual you would know that feeding on fallen enemies made you regain health
