Last week, I suggested to a Polaris Rep at the Jackson Hole RMSHA race that it would be great to have the following: 1. GoPro wifi interface where you can activate/monitor cameras from the gauge. All to often, we lose track if the camera is recording or not. 2. "Homelink" system. This is the ability to open garage doors, turn on outside lights, etc.
I have the ride command on my Sportsman XP 1000. I’ve gotta say I’m pretty jealous of the new CFMOTO which has Apple CarPlay. If Polaris is listening, you guys should add CarPlay as a software update… And while you’re doing that, launch a partnership with OnX so you can import their trails and trail data. None of the trails I want to ride locally are native in RC compared to OnX.
You are correct, Polaris is charging way more than they should for everything. But if you want new tech, go grab a Garmin Tread for less than 50% what Polaris charges.
Best comphrensive explaination of RC I've seen to date by far. That said, I didn't really learn anything new on the map type features as I'm pretty knowledgable about it already. I do wish there was something better on the syncing on RC as mine hasn't worked well in ages. It's so bad I turned it off and went back to manual. RC seems to be very problematic in keeping itself running properly. Solutions seem to be log out of everything then log back in etc. Sound like Windows where you have to do the same bs all the time. RC is a fantastic tool but this issues is the black mark on it's face. Many many people I know have the same complaint.
Really like the "Garage Talk" video series, very informative. Could you do more indepth tutorials on the Ride Command mapping and rider groups. I still havn't figured out if or how someone can create a route and share that map with the group.
??? How do you get it to auto record and save your ride We took a breakin ride and it only recorded half the ride 😢we have the northstar Xpedidtion not the ADV
And Garmin is compatible with trak maps, which has way more trail info than Polaris has. And sure Polaris can pay trak maps to get up to date. But if you own a Garmin, just plug into your PC and update regularly. And Trak Maps is cheap, and often gives a discount if you're a club member.
I sure wish mine and everyone we ride with actually worked. So many bugs and connection issues. Not to mention the app just freezes when trying to map a ride.
So the phone hooks up to ride command nicely but how do I make a call? I’ve had calls come in but I can’t hear it when I answer it do I need a headset for it? Is there something else I need to be able to talk on the phone with it
Regarding syncing RC from cloud to car, why do I consistently get an error "409 payload" or something similar? I have tried syncing via a tethered iPhone and Wi-Fi but I still can not sync between the two. This is on a 2024 Turbo R4. Keep in mind I was successful in loading a bunch of trails/waypoint initially when I got the car but now get this error when trying to update trails.....
190-210 for those 1000 motors usually if I remember correctly, it should hit 210 then fan kick on and drop to 190 and fan off till it slowly gets back to 210 again.

Good system, but the warranty is almost non-existent on Ride Command.
If it was as robust as they say it is, they would back it up with a warranty.

Wow, the group messaging and mapping is something we were working on with other gear. Of course some of our friends don't have Polaris SXSs.

I have a 23 turbo r ultimate I purchased in September of 23 how can I tell if my RzR has ride command +?

Funny....out of nowhere, now the car synched! Wish I knew what is different that it now synched??

24 pro r utimate I bought and its giving me a few problems. ONX offroad is way better.

He forgot to mention this all only works as long as the GPS is working which is a known weak leak in this system. Waste of $2k for this!
