I absolutely agree with everything that you’ve said in this video. This video in no way is a ‘Cancel Nykaa’ video. We, as creators, only ask to be treated ethically, get paid for our efforts and our art and be respected for the work we put out. Speaking against giants like Nykaa here, we may have jeopardised our chances of working with Nykaa in the future as creators. However, should Nykaa acknowledge and take responsibility for their mistakes, Sarah and I are both willing to go back to Nykaa as consumers. All that being said, I just want to reiterate that this video and our intentions to make these public statements isn’t to ‘cancel’ Nykaa or promote cancel culture in any way or form. I absolutely feel disgusted to hear how unprofessional Nykaa team is! As a content creator it takes so much effort to produce a fine video & when it comes to collab I believe that brands should pay the fees in the first place. The return policy of Nykaa is the worst ever. If you want to return they shall have a very long process of approval and all.. and finally they rejected the return stating they sent correct product and I have damaged and claiming the refund . Such poor experience 👎🏻
kavya kiran in that case Sephora is the best! We can return a product even after opening it or using it once or twice. But yeah always try not to do that as I feel like it’s just harassing the policies but still returns are very much easy &. Flexible. Nykaa sucks. That’s why if I chose winners from India I rather give them a gift card!
My father knows the ceo of nykaa personally and told me she's a very miser person and is a typical rich person who's very possessive of her wealth. Apparently, she's not at all genuine. I'm not surprised nykaa isn't ready to pay constant creators.
But if she's rich is not the reason to not pay. If she is rich she could just choose to splurge on Nykaa and not do anything. Instead, she chose to get up and start a channel from scratch and create content every week and make her platform. It's not sensible of Nykaa to just not pay because she rich or whatever. Even Nykaa is doing pretty well in the market then why do they need such free content and ruin their image.
Entitlement is a part of Nykaa's work culture. I was called for an interview. The HR kept me waiting for HOOOUUURS despite being reminded a couple of times that I have to rush to work after the interview. And finally, when the HR obliged, she took a look at my resume and said that they needed someone for a different profile and since I had a content only background, was a misfit. I sent my resume a week before the interview was scheduled. She had all the time in the world to review it and tell it to me on the phone.
Find the founder email or anyone at good level of nykaa and cc those people and email them. I do the same and I get attention and make them sorry that's all. They are not giving you anything so why be sad? Cheer up
Nykaa does this one famous thing and I’ve had a huge fight with them about it - They will have a buy one get one offer, and when you get your order you won’t get the free product. Then they’ll say oh stocks are over, the offer couldn’t be fulfilled. But I would see the same product being sold on the website. So how can they say stocks are over? I had a hugeeee argument with them, as this is extremely unethical and an outright lie. They kept denying me and not answering my emails. Only when I took it to social media did they send me the free product. This has happened with many people I know.
This happened with me as well after my parcles were shipped they shifted freebie into another parcel and apparently cancelled it. And i couldn't complain and just do nothing for it. Terrible experiences form nykaa
Same happened with my sister. She ordered mac just bc she was getting free highlighter n then that woman says it's out of stock n when my sister irked, she said "it's a free product ma'm so you shouldn't b bothered about losing money" idiots!!
Hey, how are you? Just saw the whole video.. My god 😥 I've worked with nykaa this year.. I didn't had any bad experience though. Yes, I have worked with them 3-4times as barter only. No paid and I never asked them about it.. I saw you and few other content creators uploading videos on their channel I was so happy that finally they are featuring new content creators. At least they could have send you some products or a coupon code maybe. Lesson learned I will keep this in mind before working with them..
Just last year they sent me wrong undergarments, I ordered 5 bra's and I recieved some weird underwear. I called them out and asked that to be picked up and my money returned. They said Ma'am you've 'Opened' the parcel and we can't 'return' it now. About a week of back and forth arguments they finally agreed, the person who came to pick up didn't pick up saying it's an open undergarments box I'm not allowed. Another week of back and forth the one I was talking to had the audacity to say I shut forget about my ₹8070 parcel and accept as well as use the ₹700 stuff. I told them in no uncertain terms that if that box isn't picked up and my money returned in next 48 hours then I'm taking them to the court and listed off the sections I'll be dragging them under. Only after that did they pick up and return my money.
this happened with me too.. they didn't agree to change the size and my money got wasted.. from then i never buy undergarments from nykaa.. clovia is way too better...
this happened wih me as well when i ordered there nykaa body wash combo and received the leaked package...and it took all my mind to get my refund and that too as nykaa points...and thats the point i decided to get away from there...and even if i have to buy stuff at full price from anywhere else

I've always not liked nykaa but I was left with no choice. Their refund policy, delivery experience was terrible. They never help you with your orders once you order it becomes our headache. This is not how a popular brand works. Great someone finally came out and spoke❤

MAJORLY : they NEVERRR launch brands like ORDINARY , COSRX , coloupop, elf etc . even after so many requests from coustomers . these brands are literally what we all need for our skincare and makeup aswell + they are super pocket friendly.
It's not really nykaa's choice to launch a brand or not. Its the brand's. You can request as long as you want and nykaa can push it as much as they want, but if the brand doesn't want to, they won't launch.

I’m a nykaa affiliate as well and I haven’t received any payments since feb. They’re super late with their payments and I don’t think anyone has received their due as yet. It is really heartbreaking how they think they can get away without paying people for their hardwork.
Just uninstalled the nykaa app. I live in Andaman Island and they haven't even restarted their delivery here yet post lockdown. I dont like how these online shopping platforms care less about our islands.
sheetal singh it’s not just the islands. I ordered twice to Kerala and both orders they themselves cancelled and returned those. After the first time I called customer care and the agent said they’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again and asked me to order again. Same thing happened again as well
I have so many problems getting my stuff delivered on the mainland, I’ve wondered how their coverage on the islands is. I’m sorry to hear they don’t even bother.

Finally I had to publicly put it in Instagram for them to notice and initiate refund. All this took 3 weeks. And now when their biggest sales are occurring, they don't ship to Kerala anymore. What a sham Nykaa turned out to be. Circa 2017-18 they were so prompt and punctual. Now they are just looting their customers.
It is so incredibly refreshing to see an Indian beauty RUclipsr wanting to see her own values reflected in the companies she works with! Not just Nykaa, but workplaces in general in India find any way to exploit freelancers/self-employed people and treat them unfairly. Their quality is drastically dropping. Having said that, their returns and complaint process too has become ridiculous now. Even I have had a very bad experience with Nykaa quite a few times now. I have already stopped shopping from them. Also all my friends have boycotted this miserable brand.
Absolutely agree. They Initiated inquiry for my refund as I got a broken and empty product and even after 7 days didn't reply. Then I mailed them three times, still didn't reply. Then had to call them, them again said they'll talk to team and then send, again 3days passed then finally called and argued them, finally got my money in a form of discount coupon
Finally, the truth is out. I had written to them saying that it is not a genuine product but they said all products are original and they don't sell fake products. When I requested to exchange it then they said it's not possible as it's a product that it's not exchangeable. There many instances like this where they have taken advantage and refused to help. I have encouraged all my friends to speak up as consumers always comes first.
Even their offers and discounts are such a sham!! First they entice you with price discounts but when you add those items to the cart the "reduced discounted price" somehow increases as compared to the price before. That is soo frustrating, it feels though I am being cheated on. That discount lasted precisely for 24 hrs Now it's being advertised as discounted to Rs 431during the current flash sale. Yet the actual site is quoting the mrp Rs 575 and so does the cart price. Why mislead customers? Are we stupid?

So well said, I also had very bad experience at nykaa store when I was looking for a high end foundation and makeup artist was so unprofessional and was not even interested to show any product infact was suggesting I should try some drug store product from another shop. When I clearly mentioned that I already have mute, smashbox, estee lauder and mac ones and are looking for something light weight. But maybe they think they only know about makeup and rest all of us r stupid.
I ordered 7k worth of makeup from nykaa on my birthday month and nykaa have me a sheet mask worth rs 50. I had paid for gift wrap, they didn’t provide that neither refunded it. Also they gave me expired products. Will I ever buy from nykaa again? NO NEVER

Agreed with the offers they come up with, free products will be of no use as they put up those products(shades) which are not bought by anyone. Moreover, the discounts on other online websites like amazon etc are more lucrative.
@Farheen Jahan every free product I received from nykaa has either been expired or of some shade that no one will ever wear.. Received fakes multiple times with nyx products. Once purchased their own Nykaa brand's liquid lipstick which was totally separated inside the tube itself. Got a refund on the product but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Hope you never have to go through something like this with them :)
Promoting or not promoting cancel culture isn't the issue that needs to be stressed here. The fact is that you have put into your tiring efforts and your own solid money into the products plus creating content for #Nykaa. I don't like it to be called as a big platform or anything of that sort because what they are at the end of the day, it's only and only because of consumers. If talked about as a brand and their products, we all know their place in the graph. And whether big brand or small, reality is that the brand came persuading you. They cannot get away with it Debolina if we as consumers lodge an official complaint on National Consumer Helpline at the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs. List out your harrowing experiences on this Helpline and you'll be given a docket number. Follow up till you get what you expect. Whatever calls emails you receive record them. Produce photos and upload them with your complaint. RUclips is not the ultimate platform. These guys should be exposed at the top central Ministry where there are strict Consumer laws circa 2019. Please be aware and let everyone you know aware about this. Nykaa wants to get away with theft forgery and tampering of new products. That has been my experience and I have gone to the NCH and the matter is being looked into and in process. To take matters ahead file a litigation against them on edaakhil which is an extension of law in Consumer rights protection act. Any cheating fraud or harrassment can be reported there.
I usually shop in the malls for makeup becoz trying on something is the only way to know if its right for your skin tone. What I noticed was, a lot of stuff in the Nykaa " pink sale " is supposed to be discounted but actually isn't. Its literally almost...almost..same price give or take a few bucks. Also I got a nyx palette for 1600 on nykaa which is actually 1200 in nyx 😑😑

Nyka charged for gift wrapping and did not gift pack it, when contacted they said they will adjust the money in the next order. But the point is why did u ruin the essence of the gift
I once went for an interview at Nykaa for a content writer and they made me wait 4 hours!! 4 hours to attend and they actually just wanted someone who can answer customers on chat and they wasted my time by saying they need a content writer.
Disclaimer:- Not throwing hate on that brand just sharing my experience with the brand Guuuurrrllll I swear my experience wasn't as same as yours but back in 2018 I shoped huda beauty liquid lipsticks from nykka and I found out it was fake and for the fake product they costed me freaking 1800 or something . One of my relatives stays abroad and they have gifted my the original huda beauty Lipstick (trendsetter) and it was about to finish and arround that time of the year nykka was so hyped for selling huda products so I thought of buying it from their website and when it arrived , I tried it and immediately I was like this is not the formula and the same sahde which I use to wear then I compared the original one and the one I bought from nykka and found out that nykka 's huda beauty Lipstick I received was fake . And this is not only the online case . Same incident happened with me in an offline store as well . I carried the orignal Lipstick and went to the offline store to compare and same story was repeated in the offline store as well. And over the top of this when I tried telling the store's people about they are selling fake huda products , the people over there started lying on my face that this is all imported products well known brands like nykka don't sell fake products and all blah ! After that experience I decided never to shop high end brands from nykka . But I do use to shop local products but after listening to your side of story ...damn guuuuurrrlll now I don't want to support that brand full of nepotism . Because lemme tell the truth the more we are buying stuff from nykka the more they are playing nepotism card and being unfair specifically towards the growing influencers.
I had the same experience with huda beauty, when I brought trend setter. I send them back the full size telling it’s fake, and instead I tried their mini size. It was still the same fake product.
But Huda herself said that her makeup is available on Nykaa. Not defending Nykaa at all, I bought 5 Huda beauty lipsticks last year and I’m almost on the verge of crying because I DONT WANT THEM TO BE FAKE THEY WERE SO EXPENSIVE!😭😭

I ordered The SIMPLE brand products from nykaa and everything was expired in 2k17!!!!! They put a fake sticker which have 2k21 expired date under old original sticker!!! It was done so perfectly that i never notice that double thing but i got so many acne and my skin becoming worst day by day. Than my husband took all of my skincare and makeup products and check them and he found sticker under sticker which have 2017 expired date!! I mail nykaa put a review but nothing shows and they never replied!!!
They were once caught during inspection process.....because tons of expired products of certain brands were found in their warehouse. Eventually this news was subdued and you best know how. These biggies always get a way out of all the unethical things they do.
How genuine are their products ...I once ordered my first Mac product from them...a lip liner called Spice..i still doubt it's authenticity..it has a weird texture ..I mean I wasn't impressed at all .So if they are selling fake products ..they are actually damaging the original brand's credibility ..in this case #MAC . I think any brand's credibility can be judged by their customer service ..it's the worst !!
When I had ordered a buy one get one free product , the free product I received was completed damaged, the toner bottle was empty and when I contacted Nykaa they said that since it's a free product it cannot be replaced. Also a lot of fake products are being delivered by Nykaa too. I'm so glad you spoke about this. Much love ❤️ xx
I had this experience with Purplle.com, where I had ordered for physicians formula bronzer, but they sent some fake physicians formula product which had Chinese colouring name on it. Returned and reordered again, yet the same issue and had to cancel my order. Sending fake stuff is very common, we as consumers need to be careful and vigilant about it #Purplle.com
iamdianajoy having Chinese script or a made in China tag doesn’t mean it has to be a fake, it’s probably just manufactured there. A lot of companies have plants in China because it’s cheaper.
Guys, I found this site called Boddess when I was searching desperately for something which was sold out on Nykaa. It's pretty cool, it has a lot of products from brands like PAC, Colorbar, Makeup Revolution, L. A Girl, Wet n wild, The Body Shop, Faces, etc.. Most of the brands which I know to be cruelty free, and my shopping experience with them so far has been great.. So yeah. If you're looking for alternatives, this might be one. Also, Sarah, good on you for speaking up against what doesn't seem right to you and standing up for your principles..!

I bought wet&wild eyeshadow single one which was broken and when I sent query for refund or product change .. the chatbot replied Your return has been rejected by our team And when i talked to a support consultant he said you opened its.. it was just 15 minutes after my order arrival. I said I opened it and saw it's broken and sent them picture and bill image then also they didn't accepted it.. after a lot of talking Talkimg they said they'll add money to my wallet but I never received it.. after asking for it they said return was rejected. It was a recurring loop and I stopped asking for it.
They as always sent 1or 2 products among your order,returning wrong sent products is being investigated like some robbery investigation, nykaa being powerful but not taking responsibility
Same dear, same happened with me!! They sent me fake Lakme products and when i enquired them they told me to share the swatches pictures of Lipsticks as comapred to original one.... I did and then they denied for return- reason the product is opened once.... They have been selling fake products for long and never answer the calls!!
I too faced the same problem I ordered stuffs worth 2500 and then in the app it showed I will receive a free gift from nykaa...but I didn't receive.. When I talked about it... It said there is no free gift... I even shared screen shot.. but the bot just closed the chat saying that reply from my side was not sent on time... I tried 3 times... Everytime same thing happened.... It was so irritating... I had to accept it😣
I have also heard this from shreya Jain. People actually need to know this where if you're big brand it doesn't mean to be disrespectful. I purchase from purple all the time but this also doesn't mean you should too this is your choice this will depend on your experience about the brand so yea this video was necessary idk if I'm seeing this way late or anything but this needs to SPOKEN about. I also stopped purchasing beauty products from nykaa three yrs back after they sent me dried Maybelline mascara and duplicate himalaya face pack. Now i like Flipkart. There is always discount on everything. Also they deliver authentic products. Easy replacement.

Obviously, why not, if they sell Morphe Eyeshadow palette at 300/-, Huda beauty lipstick collections at 600/- or so,how can you ever rely on such a website for cosmetics? I myself received fake Maybelline baby lips lip balm which had *only wax* or probably it was some other dangerous ingredient,not even wax,which induced inflammation in my whole lip area :(((
@@shayestaahmed9240 I do not use a lot of cosmetics. I agree that not every product is authentic on Flipkart one need to go through reviews and images to make sure it's not fake. You can easily assume whether the product is fake or not by its price as you mentioned. Fortunately I haven't received any fake cosmetic till date.🙂
@@MissMau-me8gm it's preferable not to use cosmetics from Flipkart or Amazon. You buy it in stores or else order it from the brand's authentic website, it might cost a little more (because of shipping,delivery etc.) but no taking risks in terms of skin and hair!!
I bought that damned Maybelline baby lips lip balm at Rs.120 from Flipkart which caused all the inflammation and stuff , could've just bought it from the retail stores at Rs.150 and receive an original product :(

Totally agreed. I, as a consumer, had a horrible experience with Nykaa. I cancelled my order but instead of cancellation they delivered the product and when I ask for refund since I cancel the product on time (Which they agreed initially) they told me that sorry we can't refund the money since the order has been delivered. They further said that they have NO CANCELLATION policy so they will NOT make the refund. Firstly, The website claims that they have the cancellation policy and these are the step (which I followed on time). Secondly, At the time of cancellation I even talked to the support about the cancellation, they told me to follow the similar steps. Also, the only way to cancel the order after dispatch is to ask the delivery guy to cancel at the time of the delivery (Which I did) and he accepted my cancellation at the time. So, when I called the customer care about the issue they said "I am sorry now since the order is delivered we can not refund the money and there is no cancellation policy in Nykaa". I was like, its written on your website and I have the conversation with the support. Infact the support guy told me to cancel. Then they further differ to what they said "It's not actually Nykaa policy, it's delivery agency policy of NO CANCELLATION". I was so pissed off. It literally took me 2-3 days and hundreds of email to explain that the delivery guy accepted my cancellation how can it be there policy. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I was about to escalate the case to Twitter but after so much of mismanagement they told me "they will refund the money, it was an internal issue". As a consumer I would like to speak here. I went nykaa luxe store wanting to try out new foundations and lipsticks with them. Getting someone to show you a product was really difficult. Even though I liked a shade and wanted to buy the guy went started gossiping about a blogger to his colleagues. Then I had to go to cashier ask for manager but he was hardly bothered about shitty service. They think their customers are fools, when I asked for a foundation review he swiped the shade on my hand I was like are you serious this is not the correct method. He behaved as if these guys are mac🙄🙄. I have stopped buying from since then.

Whoa.. Never knew this side of nykaa. I've been ordering from them for about 4 years, always your regular stuff like soap and lotion. I've never received a damaged product. Deliveries are quite fast too. Plus I get good discounts on regular brands like dove and Nivea. Overall, I've been happy, but now sad to know this side.

Hi love! Love your channel! And update about Sephora though! I placed an order and it was delivered after two weeks which is too long compared to other websites. So the products I received were not what I ordered at all. I kept calling them, e-mailing them to refund my money and take back the wrong products and they would keep telling me that they’ll respond in 24 hours. After two WHOLE weeks of continuous calling and pestering they finally replied that I would have to ship back the products myself to their warehouse, they’ll check the product’s condition then if they find it okay, they’ll return it. By that time I was so upset and disappointed with their service that I just let it go and kept the wrong products they had sent. A total waste of money. I’d recommend not purchasing anything online from Sephora.
I had made purchases from Nykaa a year ago and they delivered counterfeit products. I had ordered Maybelline mousse and it was counterfeit. When I gave my review on the product, they deleted it.

Shreya also had some issues with nykaa she even addressed it on her channel once. Cannot expect anything from malvika sitlani she just don't care.
I had ordered tresseme, the cap broke while opening, I had to keep it on another bottle to be able to use 😭 after some time my hair became dry and I had headaches too... Now I'm ordering shampoo from Amazon, they're comparatively nice and well packed

I once ordered the Nykaa false lashes and when it arrived, the free glue didn’t even have glue in it. Like it was totally empty, it was even dried up glue. There absolutely was nothing!

About a week ago, I saw an Ad for Huda Beauty's Faux Filter foundation in the darkest shade being sold for a very cheap price but then, a lighter shade from the same foundation brand was being sold for almost INR.1000+ more! Such a colorist and over priced company! I've been ordering from Nykaa for almost 4 years now and they haven't screwed up my orders yet but their ethics are wrong.
I came here after watching Shweta Vijay s video on honesty. omg these videos are such eye openers. I have blindly believed some you tubers without knowing that this is what happens behind the scenes. I have unsubscribed from most of the ones that frequently appear on nykaa tv and endorse blindly. I will be more selective on who I subscribe to from now on.

They had approached for NAP as well that's like Nykaa's Affiliate program but I straightway realized that this isn't a brand I'd like to promote. Even the customer service people don't really help you out and give vague answers. Been to nykaa store a while back once, the assistant was good until I declined buying nykaa products. After that she wouldn't reply me properly but chatted up with another customer who bought a 149/- nykaa Kajal. Whereas my purchase amount was way more.

I usually shop from nykaa and was active on nykaa army where we post reviews, answer questions without being paid or being recognized. Initially the noticed my work but later I saw they are giving opportunities to the people who are licking their *** . Nykaa army team is not very well constructed and alot of biased incidents I have experienced. There don't appreciate talent but who lick them or praise them. These kind of things happens in every industry. Recent case like Sushant who was being boycotted by others because he was not licking and was a hard working person. It really breaks my heart that I have wasted alot of my time on nykaa network. The girls who are doing this will go nowhere and wouldn't achieve great heights because they are seizing other well deserved candidates opportunities.
Stopped ordering from Nykaa after getting a fake MAC strobe creme and the pathetic customer care responses afterwards. Me and my friend's both of ours skin burnt and peeled off in brown patches after one use. Took it to the MAC counter to compare and it was a FAKE!!

I absolutely agree with everything that you’ve said in this video. This video in no way is a ‘Cancel Nykaa’ video. We, as creators, only ask to be treated ethically, get paid for our efforts and our art and be respected for the work we put out. Speaking against giants like Nykaa here, we may have jeopardised our chances of working with Nykaa in the future as creators. However, should Nykaa acknowledge and take responsibility for their mistakes, Sarah and I are both willing to go back to Nykaa as consumers.

The return policy of Nykaa is the worst ever. If you want to return they shall have a very long process of approval and all.. and finally they rejected the return stating they sent correct product and I have damaged and claiming the refund . Such poor experience 👎🏻

But yeah always try not to do that as I feel like it’s just harassing the policies but still returns are very much easy &. Flexible. Nykaa sucks. My father knows the ceo of nykaa personally and told me she's a very miser person and is a typical rich person who's very possessive of her wealth. Apparently, she's not at all genuine. I'm not surprised nykaa isn't ready to pay constant creators.
But if she's rich is not the reason to not pay. If she is rich she could just choose to splurge on Nykaa and not do anything. Instead, she chose to get up and start a channel from scratch and create content every week and make her platform.
It's not sensible of Nykaa to just not pay because she rich or whatever. Even Nykaa is doing pretty well in the market then why do they need such free content and ruin their image.

kept me waiting for HOOOUUURS despite being reminded a couple of times that I have to rush to work after the interview. And finally, when the HR obliged, she took a look at my resume and said that they needed someone for a different profile and since I had a content only background, was a misfit. I sent my resume a week before the interview was scheduled. She had all the time in the world to review it and tell it to me on the phone.

Nykaa does this one famous thing and I’ve had a huge fight with them about it - They will have a buy one get one offer, and when you get your order you won’t get the free product. Then they’ll say oh stocks are over, the offer couldn’t be fulfilled. But I would see the same product being sold on the website. So how can they say stocks are over?
I had a hugeeee argument with them, as this is extremely unethical and an outright lie. They kept denying me and not answering my emails. Only when I took it to social media did they send me the free product.
This has happened with many people I know.

I've worked with nykaa this year.. I didn't had any bad experience though. Yes, I have worked with them 3-4times as barter only. No paid and I never asked them about it.. I saw you and few other content creators uploading videos on their channel I was so happy that finally they are featuring new content creators. At least they could have send you some products or a coupon code maybe. Lesson learned I will keep this in mind before working with them..

Just last year they sent me wrong undergarments, I ordered 5 bra's and I recieved some weird underwear. I called them out and asked that to be picked up and my money returned. They said Ma'am you've 'Opened' the parcel and we can't 'return' it now. About a week of back and forth arguments they finally agreed, the person who came to pick up didn't pick up saying it's an open undergarments box I'm not allowed. Another week of back and forth the one I was talking to had the audacity to say I shut forget about my ₹8070 parcel and accept as well as use the ₹700 stuff. I told them in no uncertain terms that if that box isn't picked up and my money returned in next 48 hours then I'm taking them to the court and listed off the sections I'll be dragging them under. Only after that did they pick up and return my money.

I've always not liked nykaa but I was left with no choice. Their refund policy, delivery experience was terrible. They never help you with your orders once you order it becomes our headache. This is not how a popular brand works.

MAJORLY : they NEVERRR launch brands like ORDINARY , COSRX , coloupop, elf etc . even after so many requests from coustomers . these brands are literally what we all need for our skincare and makeup aswell + they are super pocket friendly.
It's not really nykaa's choice to launch a brand or not. Its the brand's. You can request as long as you want and nykaa can push it as much as they want, but if the brand doesn't want to, they won't launch.

I’m a nykaa affiliate as well and I haven’t received any payments since feb. They’re super late with their payments and I don’t think anyone has received their due as yet. It is really heartbreaking how they think they can get away without paying people for their hardwork.

sheetal singh it’s not just the islands. I ordered twice to Kerala and both orders they themselves cancelled and returned those. After the first time I called customer care and the agent said they’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again and asked me to order again. Same thing happened again as well

Finally I had to publicly put it in Instagram for them to notice and initiate refund. All this took 3 weeks. And now when their biggest sales are occurring, they don't ship to Kerala anymore. What a sham Nykaa turned out to be. Circa 2017-18 they were so prompt and punctual. Now they are just looting their customers.
It is so incredibly refreshing to see an Indian beauty RUclipsr wanting to see her own values reflected in the companies she works with! Not just Nykaa, but workplaces in general in India find any way to exploit freelancers/self-employed people and treat them unfairly. It's time we start demanding better from people/companies than fucked up and not cancelling everyone at the drop of a hat.

Absolutely agree. They Initiated inquiry for my refund as I got a broken and empty product and even after 7 days didn't reply. Then I mailed them three times, still didn't reply. Then had to call them, them again said they'll talk to team and then send, again 3days passed then finally called and argued them, finally got my money in a form of discount coupon

Finally, the truth is out. I had written to them saying that it is not a genuine product but they said all products are original and they don't sell fake products. When I requested to exchange it then they said it's not possible as it's a product that it's not exchangeable. There many instances like this where they have taken advantage and refused to help. I have encouraged all my friends to speak up as consumers always comes first.

Even their offers and discounts are such a sham!! First they entice you with price discounts but when you add those items to the cart the "reduced discounted price" somehow increases as compared to the price before. That is soo frustrating, it feels though I am being cheated on.

So well said, I also had very bad experience at nykaa store when I was looking for a high end foundation and makeup artist was so unprofessional and was not even interested to show any product infact was suggesting I should try some drug store product from another shop. When I clearly mentioned that I already have mute, smashbox, estee lauder and mac ones and are looking for something light weight. But maybe they think they only know about makeup and rest all of us r stupid.

Agreed with the offers they come up with, free products will be of no use as they put up those products(shades) which are not bought by anyone. Moreover, the discounts on other online websites like amazon etc are more lucrative.

@Farheen Jahan every free product I received from nykaa has either been expired or of some shade that no one will ever wear.. Received fakes multiple times with nyx products. Once purchased their own Nykaa brand's liquid lipstick which was totally separated inside the tube itself. Got a refund on the product but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Hope you never have to go through something like this with them :)

Promoting or not promoting cancel culture isn't the issue that needs to be stressed here. The fact is that you have put into your tiring efforts and your own solid money into the products plus creating content for #Nykaa. I don't like it to be called as a big platform or anything of that sort because what they are at the end of the day, it's only and only because of consumers. I think it's pure ethics to speak up and make people aware of anything wrong that is going on even if that means you choose to take any kind of step to stand on the face of the unfairness. It's one's ultimate right and above that one's moral duty. And for everything else, like you said, one has one's own brain to judge and decide. And #Nykaa forever has been this infamous. They cannot get away with it Debolina if we as consumers lodge an official complaint on National Consumer Helpline at the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs. List out your harrowing experiences on this Helpline and you'll be given a docket number. Follow up till you get what you expect. Whatever calls emails you receive record them. Produce photos and upload them with your complaint. RUclips is not the ultimate platform. These guys should be exposed at the top central Ministry where there are strict Consumer laws circa 2019. Please be aware and let everyone you know aware about this. Nykaa wants to get away with theft forgery and tampering of new products. That has been my experience and I have gone to the NCH and the matter is being looked into and in process. To take matters ahead file a litigation against them on edaakhil which is an extension of law in Consumer rights protection act. Any cheating fraud or harrassment can be reported there.
I usually shop in the malls for makeup becoz trying on something is the only way to know if its right for your skin tone. What I noticed was, a lot of stuff in the Nykaa " pink sale " is supposed to be discounted but actually isn't. Its literally almost...almost..same price give or take a few bucks. Also I got a nyx palette for 1600 on nykaa which is actually 1200 in nyx 😑😑

I once went for an interview at Nykaa for a content writer and they made me wait 4 hours!! 4 hours to attend and they actually just wanted someone who can answer customers on chat and they wasted my time by saying they need a content writer.

Guuuurrrllll I swear my experience wasn't as same as yours but back in 2018 I shoped huda beauty liquid lipsticks from nykka and I found out it was fake and for the fake product they costed me freaking 1800 or something . One of my relatives stays abroad and they have gifted my the original huda beauty Lipstick (trendsetter) and it was about to finish and arround that time of the year nykka was so hyped for selling huda products so I thought of buying it from their website and when it arrived , I tried it and immediately I was like this is not the formula and the same sahde which I use to wear then I compared the original one and the one I bought from nykka and found out that nykka 's huda beauty Lipstick I received was fake . And this is not only the online case . Same incident happened with me in an offline store as well . I carried the orignal Lipstick and went to the offline store to compare and same story was repeated in the offline store as well. And over the top of this when I tried telling the store's people about they are selling fake huda products , the people over there started lying on my face that this is all imported products well known brands like nykka don't sell fake products and all blah ! After that experience I decided never to shop high end brands from nykka . But I do use to shop local products but after listening to your side of story ...damn guuuuurrrlll now I don't want to support that brand full of nepotism . Because lemme tell the truth the more we are buying stuff from nykka the more they are playing nepotism card and being unfair specifically towards the growing influencers.
I had the same experience with huda beauty, when I brought trend setter. I send them back the full size telling it’s fake, and instead I tried their mini size. It was still the same fake product.

But Huda herself said that her makeup is available on Nykaa. Not defending Nykaa at all, I bought 5 Huda beauty lipsticks last year and I’m almost on the verge of crying because I DONT WANT THEM TO BE FAKE THEY WERE SO EXPENSIVE!😭😭

For the longest time the only two youtubers who threw shade at nykaa was Shweta Vijay Nair first and then shreya Jain . No one supported them. Glad many are pulling their shady business
I ordered The SIMPLE brand products from nykaa and everything was expired in 2k17!!!!! They put a fake sticker which have 2k21 expired date under old original sticker!!! It was done so perfectly that i never notice that double thing but i got so many acne and my skin becoming worst day by day. Than my husband took all of my skincare and makeup products and check them and he found sticker under sticker which have 2017 expired date!! I mail nykaa put a review but nothing shows and they never replied!!!
They were once caught during inspection process.....because tons of expired products of certain brands were found in their warehouse. Eventually this news was subdued and you best know how.
These biggies always get a way out of all the unethical things they do.

How genuine are their products ...I once ordered my first Mac product from them...a lip liner called Spice..i still doubt it's authenticity..it has a weird texture ..I mean I wasn't impressed at all .So if they are selling fake products ..they are actually damaging the original brand's credibility ..in this case #MAC . I think any brand's credibility can be judged by their customer service ..it's the worst !!

When I had ordered a buy one get one free product , the free product I received was completed damaged, the toner bottle was empty and when I contacted Nykaa they said that since it's a free product it cannot be replaced. Also a lot of fake products are being delivered by Nykaa too. I'm so glad you spoke about this. Much love ❤️ xx
I had this experience with Purplle.com, where I had ordered for physicians formula bronzer, but they sent some fake physicians formula product which had Chinese colouring name on it. Returned and reordered again, yet the same issue and had to cancel my order. Sending fake stuff is very common, we as consumers need to be careful and vigilant about it #Purplle.com
iamdianajoy having Chinese script or a made in China tag doesn’t mean it has to be a fake, it’s probably just manufactured there. A lot of companies have plants in China because it’s cheaper.

Guys, I found this site called Boddess when I was searching desperately for something which was sold out on Nykaa.
It's pretty cool, it has a lot of products from brands like PAC, Colorbar, Makeup Revolution, L. A Girl, Wet n wild, The Body Shop, Faces, etc.. Most of the brands which I know to be cruelty free, and my shopping experience with them so far has been great.. So yeah. If you're looking for alternatives, this might be one.

I bought wet&wild eyeshadow single one which was broken and when I sent query for refund or product change .. the chatbot replied
Your return has been rejected by our team
And when i talked to a support consultant he said you opened its.. it was just 15 minutes after my order arrival. I said I opened it and saw it's broken and sent them picture and bill image then also they didn't accepted it.. after a lot of talking Talkimg they said they'll add money to my wallet but I never received it.. after asking for it they said return was rejected.
It was a recurring loop and I stopped asking for it.
They as always sent 1or 2 products among your order,returning wrong sent products is being investigated like some robbery investigation, nykaa being powerful but not taking responsibility
Same dear, same happened with me!! They sent me fake Lakme products and when i enquired them they told me to share the swatches pictures of Lipsticks as comapred to original one.... I did and then they denied for return- reason the product is opened once....

I myself received fake Maybelline baby lips lip balm which had *only wax* or probably it was some other dangerous ingredient,not even wax,which induced inflammation in my whole lip area :(((
@@shayestaahmed9240 I do not use a lot of cosmetics. I agree that not every product is authentic on Flipkart one need to go through reviews and images to make sure it's not fake.
You can easily assume whether the product is fake or not by its price as you mentioned.
Fortunately I haven't received any fake cosmetic till date.🙂
@@MissMau-me8gm it's preferable not to use cosmetics from Flipkart or Amazon. You buy it in stores or else order it from the brand's authentic website, it might cost a little more (because of shipping,delivery etc.) but no taking risks in terms of skin and hair!!
I bought that damned Maybelline baby lips lip balm at Rs.120 from Flipkart which caused all the inflammation and stuff , could've just bought it from the retail stores at Rs.150 and receive an original product :(

Totally agreed. I, as a consumer, had a horrible experience with Nykaa. I cancelled my order but instead of cancellation they delivered the product and when I ask for refund since I cancel the product on time (Which they agreed initially) they told me that sorry we can't refund the money since the order has been delivered. They further said that they have NO CANCELLATION policy so they will NOT make the refund.
Firstly, The website claims that they have the cancellation policy and these are the step (which I followed on time).
Secondly, At the time of cancellation I even talked to the support about the cancellation, they told me to follow the similar steps.
Also, the only way to cancel the order after dispatch is to ask the delivery guy to cancel at the time of the delivery (Which I did) and he accepted my cancellation at the time.
So, when I called the customer care about the issue they said "I am sorry now since the order is delivered we can not refund the money and there is no cancellation policy in Nykaa".
I was like, its written on your website and I have the conversation with the support. Infact the support guy told me to cancel. Then they further differ to what they said "It's not actually Nykaa policy, it's delivery agency policy of NO CANCELLATION".
I was so pissed off. It literally took me 2-3 days and hundreds of email to explain that the delivery guy accepted my cancellation how can it be there policy.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I was about to escalate the case to Twitter but after so much of mismanagement they told me "they will refund the money, it was an internal issue".
Literally, I was so angry that how can they deny a policy that's legit written on their website.
Very BAD MANAGEMENT. Never gonna order again!!
As a consumer I would like to speak here. I went nykaa luxe store wanting to try out new foundations and lipsticks with them. Getting someone to show you a product was really difficult. Even though I liked a shade and wanted to buy the guy went started gossiping about a blogger to his colleagues. Then I had to go to cashier ask for manager but he was hardly bothered about shitty service. They think their customers are fools, when I asked for a foundation review he swiped the shade on my hand I was like are you serious this is not the correct method. He behaved as if these guys are mac🙄🙄. I have stopped buying from since then.

Whoa.. Never knew this side of nykaa. I've been ordering from them for about 4 years, always your regular stuff like soap and lotion. I've never received a damaged product. Deliveries are quite fast too. Plus I get good discounts on regular brands like dove and Nivea. Overall, I've been happy, but now sad to know this side.
We also have trustworthy Instagram stores that store authentic makeup..we should be supporting them as well

Hi love! Love your channel! And update about Sephora though! I placed an order and it was delivered after two weeks which is too long compared to other websites. So the products I received were not what I ordered at all. I kept calling them, e-mailing them to refund my money and take back the wrong products and they would keep telling me that they’ll respond in 24 hours. After two WHOLE weeks of continuous calling and pestering they finally replied that I would have to ship back the products myself to their warehouse, they’ll check the product’s condition then if they find it okay, they’ll return it. By that time I was so upset and disappointed with their service that I just let it go and kept the wrong products they had sent. A total waste of money. I’d recommend not purchasing anything online from Sephora.
I had made purchases from Nykaa a year ago and they delivered counterfeit products. I had ordered Maybelline mousse and it was counterfeit. When I gave my review on the product, they deleted it.

I once ordered the Nykaa false lashes and when it arrived, the free glue didn’t even have glue in it. Like it was totally empty, it was even dried up glue. There absolutely was nothing!

About a week ago, I saw an Ad for Huda Beauty's Faux Filter foundation in the darkest shade being sold for a very cheap price but then, a lighter shade from the same foundation brand was being sold for almost INR.1000+ more! Such a colorist and over priced company! I've been ordering from Nykaa for almost 4 years now and they haven't screwed up my orders yet but their ethics are wrong.
I came here after watching Shweta Vijay s video on honesty. omg these videos are such eye openers. I have blindly believed some you tubers without knowing that this is what happens behind the scenes. I have unsubscribed from most of the ones that frequently appear on nykaa tv and endorse blindly. I will be more selective on who I subscribe to from now on.

Shopping makeup online is fun because we get to know what other options we have, from the cheapest to the most expensive. While you walk into a store and as for a lipstick, 9 out ot 10 salesperson will try to sell the ones which give them more concession even if the product itself is trash
Also, Nykaa has is no more accepting any kind of returns! I was stunned cause they didn't even announce it or anything. They had approached for NAP as well that's like Nykaa's Affiliate program but I straightway realized that this isn't a brand I'd like to promote. So glad to see so many other creators for whom their ethics is greater than some free make up! 🌼

You're absolutely right, what is wrong is really wrong, and yes many people ve received expired products when on discounts , and sent a near to expire products as a free gift or a freebie !
Even the customer service people don't really help you out and give vague answers. Been to nykaa store a while back once, the assistant was good until I declined buying nykaa products. After that she wouldn't reply me properly but chatted up with another customer who bought a 149/- nykaa Kajal. Whereas my purchase amount was way more.

I usually shop from nykaa and was active on nykaa army where we post reviews, answer questions without being paid or being recognized. Initially the noticed my work but later I saw they are giving opportunities to the people who are licking their *** . Nykaa army team is not very well constructed and alot of biased incidents I have experienced. There don't appreciate talent but who lick them or praise them. These kind of things happens in every industry. Recent case like Sushant who was being boycotted by others because he was not licking and was a hard working person. It really breaks my heart that I have wasted alot of my time on nykaa network. The girls who are doing this will go nowhere and wouldn't achieve great heights because they are seizing other well deserved candidates opportunities.

Stopped ordering from Nykaa after getting a fake MAC strobe creme and the pathetic customer care responses afterwards. Me and my friend's both of ours skin burnt and peeled off in brown patches after one use. Took it to the MAC counter to compare and it was a FAKE!!

You guys I totally agree with Sarah she is amazing and whatever she said is totally right , but at the same time blaming Malvika sitlani and debasree is not going to help , because they have a major following they are not treated like that and hence don't have that experience but they certainly don't have anything to do with all this. And yes what Sarah said is absolutely right but all of the you tubers have worked hard to be where they are they have not seen or experienced success over night and doing sponsored content or whatever that stuff is , is a part of her job it's her bread and butter you don't just say I hate Malvika and stuff like that .
