@@lightworker6298 Something that helped me is to not put too much pressure on things. So I knew that if I slipped up and stopped doing something for one day or even one week, I can always get back to it, and it didn't mean that all the progress that I did before would be lost.

You might be a multipotentialite. I recommend a book by Emilie Wapnick "How to be Everything". If that's your problem (or rather - a blessing), then this book has some practical advice.
Another advice I have if it's a variety issue (i.e. you get bored too easily), then keep a list of your projects, say in "Notion" and alternate your projects by weeks, months or even years (depending on how big they are), so you don't get bored by sticking to the same project day in and day out.
It also helps to remember the ones you have been able to accomplish as a proof of past success. So just because you have dropped some of them, doesn't mean you're not going to complete the next one or go back to old projects and actually lead them to completion. It might be that it's just not the right time for it.

I do something called productive procrastination. When I don't want to work on one project, I work on another one. That's how I get things done, including my PhD xD I take longer for sure, but I finish all of them just to prove to myself I finish what I start.

This!!! Especially when neurodivergent or dealing with chronic illness (but applies for everyone really), it's so helpful to frame some things as an accommodation. Sometimes what feels like a splurge actually ends up costing less in time/energy. if one can afford the accommodation, it can often make something a non issue and save up real problem solving power for the bigger issues in life

What if I don't have a specific goal like finishing a specific thing or losing a certain amount of weight? What if I just have to stop some bad habits forever and it feels daunting because I use those bad habits to cope with difficult emotions and my constant anxiety? It feels impossible....I tried like 10 times at least using a tracking app and a list of alternative coping skills but the only thing that makes me feel better when I am stressed and anxious is eating chocolate. I would love to see a video about how to eat healthier without restricting and without obsessing over weight loss or anything like that....how to actually change lifestyle. It makes sense because over 50% of people have new years resolutions that are health related.

    • @knt365

tbh when it comes to eating healthy and relationship with fitness/weight etc. i find it helpful to have an additive mindset. so rather than saying you have to decrease calories or a specific food group like sugar, i would focus on adding something in my diet like more protein, more veggies etc. and same for fitness, having a goal of more daily steps or more frequent daily movement instead of having to lose X pounds. it really helps me to reframe the goal to have a positive outcome instead of limiting or loss of something. there's also lots of data that shows movement and spending time outside is a huge help for people with anxiety/depression-my therapist has told me you really only need 20 minutes of movement to see an impact, so even setting a goal of 20 min daily walks could probably help! i am no expert on either of these things but they've at least helped me with managing my mental health. i hope it can be helpful for you too!!

Girl, I love your videos, but you talk so fast it’s really hard to follow you. In any examples shown on screen if you’re not sitting there staring at the screen by time you look at it, you have to run back and then pause it because you only leave it there three seconds. Please do not take these commenters digs. They’re not meant that way they have a request that you slow down so we could all enjoy your videos.

Hi, I get it. I had to rewind a few times, however, I think she does it so her videos are shorter, which to be honest, is a reason why I watch her content. So I just rewind and screenshot whenever I want to go back to something. I know her videos are meant to be watched but I think if you just want to listen, I think her videos are still pretty good even if you aren’t looking at the screen. Oh and for the speed, I remembered we can slow it too haha I forget about these great features sometimes. Hope that helps?
