Pappu in tamil is paruppu. There is an andhra mess in triplicane which js much tastier and cheaper than national lodge. Though national lodge is more famous. Also try oht the multiple messes in chennai like bharathi mess,kasivinayaka mess,nair mess etc. They provide cheap meals in decent quality and quantity

170 is really expensive for less number of items. And they are serving rasam and sambar in cups 😂🤣🤣🤣. Definitely the hotellers in Tamil Nadu are not as generous as Andhrians.😂

National lodge is the worst place to have Andhra meals. Very spicy, stingy staff, charge for one tiny cup of curd, not worth the price that too cash only. Rating 2/10
